Good luck to you, as you said you're up against people who don't have the right to work in the UK using the right to substitution. This is really something the delivery companies have added to avoid IR35. So it's on the so-called legit rider to determine if their substitute is legal. Of course they aren't and it's now opened up, as you mentioned another black economy where people rent out their accounts but with the HMRC changes, they'll be responsible for the tax that the illegals generate. It'll take years and maybe 0.0001% will be investigated, perhaps worth the risk? However, Uber Eats and Deliveroo, need riders and they make it stupidly easy to get a completely fake account that is fully validated. Without illegal workers these companies do not have a viable business. I find it incredible that so many riders are striking in London when so many do not contribute to the economy and are not tax paying citizens or even have the right to work.
My partner worked on the inside of the world's largest food delivery company, I'm not a RUclipsr, but I would really like to do an exposé of how these companies use illegal workers to make money. RUclips title How to get an Uber Eats account and pass verification without even trying. Perhaps it already exists, probably in Bengali and it got millions of views

I am operating from South Leeds now, and a really huge zone that incorporates Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford postcodes. I'm also now active on Just Eat. Guess what, it takes exactly the same time to make £100 in car: 7-9 hours. But I have to put 15 litres of fuel in a day (about £21.50) and also roughly 10 hours of Zego insurance at £1.16 an hour. Expenses are about £32 per day!!! And that doesn't include car maintenance costs! I know the real take home pay for cars is something like £8.50-£9 per hour. It's the car drivers who get it worst with the food delivery platforms. It is mostly individuals from ethnic minorities who do the job, and will endure pay below minimum wage. Lots of them do it as a full time job. I'm hoping the new Labour government will sanction a review of how these companies operate, and ensure people such as myself get at least NMW after expenses are taken off. Although that will probably mean a drastic change on how some platforms operate.

Hi Jack! I am sponsored by SpartanPac but I would still go for the SpartanPac with the pizza pocket because it’s not only stealthy but it’s more compact so it’s not bulky on your back and I rarely ever reject any orders because they are too big. I think I’ve rejected like 1-2 shopping orders that were like 4/5 bags but they shouldn’t be taken on a bike anyways haha. I used the Stuart backpack for my first 2 years and it was massive and I always thought I can carry any order but switching to SpartanPac is just so much more efficient because it sits really nicely on my back. The Uber Eats one is good quality too and it’s a very similar size to the SpartanPac one - in fact I think they are the same design. I prefer the stealthy black look…I don’t want to be a walking advertisement and you’ll barely have to expand the bag out so it’s not really necessary. Hope this helps - I highly recommend getting the small bag to go inside for separating orders and keep drinks stable 👍
I'm wondering, can't your bike handle a rear rack where you can put your bag? It might be less stress on your back if you have one of those rear racks.
I’m not a big fan of the rear rack because it’s a bit of a faff and I think the orders are more stable on my back than on the back of my bike. To be honest I might just decline shopping orders because they are the only ones that are heavy. Only issue is if it’s not busy then I might have no choice 😳

@GigHustle Ah, I see. I was wondering because that's got to be a burden on your back, especially the heavy groceries. I heard groceries and other stuff pay more than food deliveries at times. Either way, you stay safe out there and enjoying your vids!
Guy asked for help putting food in bag and just walked away..cold. also the girl asked u to accept order before she hands it to you. Strangely this happens in the u.s. too..
Yah about minimum pay or bellow (it is 11.42 soon) accounting the possible tax, bike Maintenace and no holidays. But job can be pretty nice to get out of the house for quick cardio if you have full time job during week which I might consider doing soon (and to use my 1k tax free allowance), as want to earn bit extra to pay off debt... but I moved out of the bigger city which will hurt my earnings without Stuart here that paid almost double and main orders that were coming in hot were the Tesco ones.
How much can you make working in a town, I live in Newquay Cornwall and especially in the summer months it gets busy but I hope it’s busy enough to be earn a substantial amount, what are your thoughts?
I went out last night for the first time in a while and made £36 in 2 hours. But like you say most of the time there's to many drivers out and not enough orderes and the result is low fees
We have the tax problem in the Netherlands for Uber Eats. My estimation is %30 of the accounds here don't pay tax at all . Bcs the tax settings is based on declaration and there is no checking, it accepts immediately . They just put a random number. Bcs you don't have a tax number youre not in the system so there is no checking from the tax authorities since 5 years or so. This couses renting accounds to persons who cannot open their own accound or don't have a work permit. In some cities there are too many couriers so the income has decreased . Uber has removed so many promotions since last 1-2 years the main reason is too many couriers on the field. But I belive soon there is gonna be an investigation and a lot of couriers are gonna get huge fines for tax fraud.
What's it like living in Nottingham??? I.E people, area, schools, jobs, transportation, crime, housing, crime etc I currently reside in London but looking to move out.

Just started watching your videos last night binge watched a few ....you're such a nice genuine guy always chatting away respectful great guy ....can I ask every job u approve does the amount u make per job go directly onto your app account and u cash out or does it go directly into your bank ? ....also can I ask do u have to pay any fees as a driver
I have read people being very scathing about delivery drivers, but I can't imagine how anyone is making a living wage at it. It's a huge amount of work for very little pay. Perfect if you're trying to work under the radar but pretty thankless. I wonder if anyone earns enough doing it to even pay tax anyway given the personal allowance if you are under UK laws.
The fee descrepency between non-busy times and busy times is what annoys me the most. Also riders stealing food is disgusting behaviour. in fact Tortilla told me they are going off deliveroo because of riders stealing food. I'm so miffed

How much do you pay for insurance? Thanks in advance
Situation is critical these days for delivery riders ,deliveroo and other companys doing absolutely nothing to improve the situation
The gig is up. The companies should be ashamed of themselves. Destroyed a once decent side earner.
