Fabulous demo! Now I understand why Elwood is so particular about brushes. He NEEDS to have the POINT and the adequate BELLY in the same brush.

waterproof ink that works in a fountain pen without clogging is my holy grail - could you reveal the ink you use for your drawings.

Hi. You may know this by now but in case not, I use the Platinum Carbon Ink in fountain pens. It works well, is waterproof (let it dry thoroughly) and a dense black. But because it’s a pigment ink and carries carbon particles, you need to clean your pen occasionally to ensure it doesn’t clog if left unused for a long while.

@@drawninwardart thanks for this !! Marvellous news - but looks like it will have to be a daily practice of drawing otherwise it can be expensive on fountain pens!

@@johncromerbooks - I have a few pens filled with the carbon ink and they don’t dry out as long as the cap is in tight. It’s recommended to clean your pen once a month but I’ve got a Fude pen that’s had carbon ink in it for 3 mths and is still fine even though I haven’t cleaned it during that time.

Thanks a million for back ground music that doesn't get in the way of the value of the video. Could leave it out all together (for me) but at least this one doesn't take away from the content by being too loud. V. worthwhile video. Have taken notes and will watch again to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Why is the value of the video so bad? Looks like it was filmed on one of the first flip phones. Glad to listen to it though!
