I like the ominous music in this video. I am filled with foreboding at the idea of Tim Cool replacing Apple Siri with Apple Sauron.
The smart ring just looks like everything I can do without on the Apple Watch, and none of the things I actually want from the Apple Watch.
I’ve had an Apple Watch since the very first one and I’ve had the ultra since it launched and honestly I’ve been really considering one of the ring health trackers over the watch. I’m a bit tired of the watch and don’t need all the notifications (yes I can turn them off) or the screen or the clunkiness on my wrist. Also would love better sleep tracking. I hope Apple does it soon.

My only grip would be that Apple has a new ring every year. What I love about OURA is you have one ring for 3-5 years. Most people have the same "basic" ring for YEARS. So hoping Apple allows users to keep the same current ring for a few years before another generation is announced.

Really like the concept of the fitness ring. The problem I have right now with a company like Oura is their approach to the data. Right now, they charge you a monthly fee to access the data it tracks, which I think is ridiculous. Hopefully Apple just allows you to access the information like they do on their watches if they release a ring like that... would definitely make me consider getting one

After trying the Oura ring, I would need to be convinced how an offering of a ring would overcome issues with the single fit, repeatedly losing it, and the scratching by knurling during workouts for an item that is meant to track fitness.

Would love an Apple Ring. But I don't feel like it would replace my Apple Watch. For passive things, like health data is fine on a ring. NFC like unlocking my Mac, and iPad is perfect for it. When it comes to notifications, or fitness workouts you really need a screen. However together they would be a perfect pair!

I love my Oura ring.
I feel like new battery tech will need to be used first this to work.
As someone who does a lot of walking I can see an issue with a smart ring. After 10 miles or so fingers can start to sweel and rings are frerquently needed to be removed. Thus, you would lose your monitoring. But it wouls be nice to have the ring and be able to wear my nice machnical watch.
I would get one depending on design and battery
