- HOW TO FIX 59.F0 ERROR ON HP COLOR LASERJET PRO M452DW, M377DW, M477FNW, M477FDN, M477FDW
ITB FIRMWARE UPGRADE,
DC CONTROLLER FIRMWARE UPGRADE,
DCC FIRMWARE UPGRADE.
Upgrading the DCC firmware to controller number 15101. This is the preferred solution for the models, which have a USB drive in the front.
Affected printers:
• HP Color LaserJet Pro M452dw
• HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M377dw
• HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fnw
• HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdn
• HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw
I used a working printer without the error, but you will see the main steps of solving the problem. I hope it can help you.
You need to download DCCV1_51.prn from internet. If you can not find it I can send it to your email.
Copy that file on a USB flash drive which has to be formatted in FAT32.

Updating the printer firmware doesn't help with 59.f0. You must update the DCC firmware to solve the error. Just like in the video.
I have HP color Laserjet mfp m477fdw (59.70 Error Turn off then Turn on) and it didn't work the way you are trying in this video.

I used USB 2.0 drive with FAT32 format.
Thanks. I knew I needed to format as FAT32 but never had any luck with 3.0 drives and ports on Windows. Some issues always come up and when you finally dig deep, you find that moving the cable to a USB 2.0 port makes the printer or scanner show up on the Control Panel or to scan or print from USB.
