You gotta admit that it must be an amazing feeling for the punter to see the rest of your special teams put that extra effort in on the play to make the punt so good.

DaSaSto The ball is placed where the player gains control of the ball. If the ball or a player touching the ball touches the ground in the end zone, it’s a touchback with ball placed on the 20 yard line.
Followed by the least understood play in terms of the downing rules. Unless they changed something since 2007 then these refs have no idea when the ball actually becomes dead.
@@DengRobertDeng We gained hella yards because our recieving corp is top 2 in the league. But moving the ball between the 20's is meaningless. Honestly I feel like our shortcomings came from terrible playcalling in key moments, bad decision making on part of the quarterback and being unable to rely on our defense or running game to close out games. Our running situation I would blame on our O-line play mostly. Don't get me wrong, BA isn't going to come in and immediately take us to the superbowl. But I believe he's going to bring a winning culture/attitude to the head coach position and really give our guys a kick in the butt while at the same time set up our coaching staff for the future.

Has that actually happened (at least at college or pro level)? Worst punt I ever saw was Sean Landeta's against the Bears in the playoffs. (It was so windy, Landetta "kicked" it with his ankle).
Tres Way is the best punter!! None of his punts this year went in the end zone. All lot of them went in the 10 yards mark. But yet he isn’t in the Pro Bowl!
Just a question what happened if th ball cross the endzone After a kick ? The other team scores some points ? In France we have only the superbawl on TV and american football IS not enouth important to have all explication
Kevin Goudent the catching team gets a touchback-which means no points are scored for the kicking team and the receiving team automatically gets the ball for 1st down at the 20 yard line.
I always love the punts. I can't believe there's people that want to take special teams out of the game and turn it solely into monotonous marching up and down the field.
You gotta admit that it must be an amazing feeling for the punter to see the rest of your special teams put that extra effort in on the play to make the punt so good.
Yeah, because these special teams guys aren’t literally fighting to stay in the league.
Best comment ever, thank you

9:56 might be the best punt ever. Rolled to the inch line in the far corner by itself. Incredible.
PUNTERS ARE PEOPLE TOO.
RESPECT THAT.
I don’t get the rule behind this, can someone explain?

I'm surprised u didn't say that dumb oh yeah yeah
Vicious Clutch I’m just doing it for the meme

Slater has made a career of these type plays.
Still can't believe the Pats cut Ryan Allen.

It’s *not* underrated. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I can always count on you and your videos to get me through the offseason
This is so satisfying 😂
The crazy thing on the Patriots Steelers one is how Jones recovers from being knocked down to start it all off. Wheels.
Rory426 they fye like that
Burkheads foot dragged across the line
Matt Asay did the ball touch the ground when that happened?
2:00
What an amazing play by the Raiders!!!!!! How did the Packers *ever* come back from that!?!?!?!
0:36 #18 jumps over the ball what a legend
Matthew Slater! Patriots ST SPECIALISTS! Man has made a career out of being a monster on ST! Knows the game well and is versatile

9:41😄
Jones touched the line. Lol
I had no idea I needed this in my life. I just smiled for 10 min and 47 seconds!
Idk why but i could seriously watch these for hours, solid video
The Steelers communication on the patriots one when Switz was telling Arty to get out of the way was impressive
As a giants fan the only thing I am proud of this year is having Barkley on the team and that amazing punt save against the bears
9:57 this one was a beautiful punt
Rolled to the one inch line on its own. Perfect punt.
Yet the announcer says he shanked it lmao
Loved it!!!
Punters are People too.
2:50, you won’t be seeing that score anytime soon
Can you fake punt/fg tds or return tds next?
There would only be 3 or 4 of them
This is the kind of video that sounds like it might be boring but is actually really good. Nice compilation.
The athleticism in many of these is just AMAZING!!! 😮
0:31 was crazy
Punting is a very oddly satisfying thing to watch.
2:02
Y'know it's plays like this that can really have an effect on the game.

I absolutely love punts like these. Sometimes the most exciting plays happen on 4th down!
Do the closest touchback-punts that were almost downed inbounds next. You might need a better title though lol
nfl closest touchback punts that were almost downed inbounds. seems like a legit title lol

Punts where the punter kicked the ball behind himself
