    Awesome Job. That's A Lot of Work To Change A Starter Motor But Less Time Then The First Generation Under The Intake . I Always Told Customers They Build Vehicles To SELL Not Service Or Repair. I Wonder What The Flat Rate Time Is For This Job ? 2 Hrs. ?

      @@stephenzies8867 yeah, those first Gen 4.7 L engine starters are a pain! I don’t remember what the flat rate is on this one, probably around 3-4 hours I’d guess.

      I got one I’m going to do tomorrow the Time is 5.6 hours of labor flat rate

      @@TheAquazule that’s pretty good, can definitely beat that time if nothing is seized too badly.

    Why are some people able to do it without removing the exhaust manifold?

    • @Viktor_G_Automotive
      @Viktor_G_Automotive  4 месяца назад

      In this video, I show how to do it as per the repair manual. There may be some shortcuts available, depending on your skill level and the tools you have access to.
