NF is simply brilliant. Appreciate your reaction. The woman in white on the swing represents his mother (who died from overdose). She has 3 bloons representing her 3 children. It's a very sad tribute. 💜

I agree
NF's lyrics are painfully real and honest. That's what makes him so brilliant. He brings up all the fears, thoughts and ugly truths about yourself that you've been trying to hide. His brand is NFrealmusic (the hat he's wearing says "Real"). He does not want to fake anything.
I suggest you continue with his song "Mansion", it's an important foundation for the rest of the NF journey. :)

Never....have O watched anybody react to NF and get the cart right off the bat. Followed NF since Mansion and it has been a journey worth every movie he's made and every lyric spoken
Very nice reaction! I love watching reactions to NF, he's got so much to say and lots of symbolism to figure out! I think the big cage is where he's coming from, where he has kept himself in the past. Very isolated and fearful. After he started making music, going to therapy and figuring things out, he can leave that big cage behind. Not as fearful anymore. But he has his cart-cage because he's not ready to free himself completely. I think the people in white are people that are hopeful in life. NF has no hope at this point. "I'm looking for the map to hope, have you seen it?" he sings.

In the beginning you talked about music being a real factor. That’s why I have a car playlist with nothing depressing in it. To much time to think to hard. Music, with that head space doesn’t help.
I relate to NF quite a bit, and your analysis of him really made ME feel seen. Especially the part about being able to always keep people guessing, but if someone is actually willing to put in the time and effort, then our core actually isn’t that complicated.

2023 Updated NF Journey List

🎶 This is for anyone new who may want to take the NF journey as we call it because he intertwines his music like marvel movies. All of his albums are like a connected series.
He also hides eggs in his videos which he co-directs and co-produces.
For example in his “When I Grow Up” song there were four hidden eggs in that song: 1. A black balloon by the trash cans (black balloon represents his burdens per search single) 2 In the burger joint he grabbed at receipt that had the date and time of when his song time was being released. 3. He had outcast written on his name tag in the janitor scene which references his Outcast song. 4. He had his moments album CD in car scene
Another example is in the search song he had cage in background he rapped in from his outcast song. Search single also connects to Hope. In Hope he has the “map to hope”.
The black smile you will see painted on his mouth is explained in his therapy session song.

It was to the awful article rolling stones put out because the writer was a big chance the rapper fan and was pissed NF took number one spot. Over 400 people bashed that writer in the comments lol

@@MusicHealsHQ just subbed excited for you to take the journey. I’ve been addicted to watching NF reactions for 7 years now, you caught more nuggets than I’ve ever seen anyone else. I always like to keep in mind his albums are like seasons, and his songs as episodes, so for you to come in “mid journey” and understand as much as you did is awesome. Also this is the most thorough “NF Journey” list I’ve seen, but the song Happy (Hope album) does have a music video (I’m sure it wasn’t on purpose it’s a missive list!) and it’s important to watch. I would recommend watching lyric video when the song doesn’t have a music video, and when it does pull up lyrics on phone or print out, etc, to follow along as he will be rapping fast sometimes!

I love that you're looking at NF's music!! Both of these artists I personally adore... As a person living/sometimes struggling with my mental health (as all of us do.)
But ...your insights touch me!
"Music has a healing power"- YES! it does!!!
I wanted to share ... I hope you don't mind.
I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder after being given the wrong SSRI and it uptaked too fast, so I encountered psychosis in my teens/adolescence, and further endured serotonin syndrome/was having nightly seizures - for months - until a grand mal seizure took place and I was re-medicated on a slow wean..
But when I was recovering from serotonin syndrome, I'd lost a lot of my short term memory (past and present.) My one medical doctor (who knew I played piano) suggested me to practice piano again.... And to listen to classical piano/orchestral music to repair my memory loss- it has helped.
I lost about 4 years of memory (short and long term, from the seizures..) and now I hear music or songs - and they immediately repair memory pathways (if it's a song I know,) or it brings me a sense of "something" (favourable feelings) if it's new.
But my "past" (the 4 yrs I lost) - it comes back, if even only for a few days.... Music brings me back my brain pathways that are damaged/"lost"/"temporarily lost"
Music is so healing....neuropathically, but also ...mentally in other ways..
So. Your channel is a newfound favourite, thank you for doing this!!

I think (just my opinion) that the people in white are ones who’ve passed on. Good people who didn’t make it. And Their balloons are the burdens/people they’ve left behind. Is the woman on the swing his mom?
Him sitting in the cart at the end is him losing the battle of burdens and being given his “white clothes”. Will he put them on, or will he get back out and FIGHT?

Don’t do the journey. To many start the journey and lose interest because not every song has deep meaning. So people like yourself who come at NF from a mental health view don’t have anything to react to, so you end up listening to the music. If you’re going to react to him I would pick and choose certain songs.

Can I suggest Falling In Reverse? I think you would give great reactions to songs like Zombified, Popular Monster, Voices In My Head, Watch The World Burn, Last Resort Reimagined (original song was from Papa Roach.) Almost any song from them touch on subjects you could react, analyze and give valuable input about. Also, Ronnie Radke, the lead singer and person who put the band together, allows reactions to their music and videos and actually supports them and sometimes reacts to reactions as well. I believe he allows them to be monetized just like Ren does. 💙

This might sound weird , but I’ve always thought that the barren land and the people in white are along the mines of what you said , they have made progress , but how they had to do it was the point I think, no has realized that you have to go to a place nobody goes to where things aren’t popular and you are the weirdo or the elephant in the room like the lady on the swing in the middle of nowhere , not sure if that makes sense but I think the real work starts when you see that you can’t stay the same and change at the same time
