I read Behind Closed Doors last week. It was a super easy read and definitely kept my attention BUT it was so incredibly predictable. From the moment it started, I knew exactly what was coming. So you’re probably right in letting it go if you like books that surprise you.
Ahhh thank you for letting me know! Thats the one thing I really don’t like in thrillers is them being very predictable, so you’re totally right, it’s best it came off the shelves!😅 Thank you for making me feel better about my decision on that one though because that was one I was having a hard time making a decision on!
I agree with you on The Thursday Murder Club. I rated it 3 stars.
3 stars here too! I was expecting more, but I’m also hoping they get better as they go. I think I’m going to do the audiobook when I do decide to go back to the series!

Thrillers haven't been hitting for me too. The popular ones at least. I'm reading more of police procedurals and crime thrillers and I'm glad I tried something different

@dayswiththedoyles For starters, I highly recommend The Fourth Monkey Trilogy by J.D Barker, the Eddie Flynn series by Steve Cavanagh, Hunter series by Chris Carter, Washington Poe series by M.W Craven and lastly the UNSUB series by Meg Gardiner. It's a lot😅, I know, but if you're in the mood for a grittier, dark, spellbinding thriller you can't go wrong with these authors!😁
