This is one thing I love about these guys !They are who they are and don’t care if they come across as wild and chaotic!I love that RM tries to control them as much as he can but sometimes he just realizes that he’s lost control and he has no choice but to go with the flow.

These kind of videos was the stuff i used to watch years ago as a baby army. I've always been excited for you guys to stumble on these vids too. A lot of them are old now, but it's still a bit of fun and banter so im glad you checked something out

I know y’all are saying these compilations are cringey and old but that’s cause YOU’VE already watched them. Wes & Steph haven’t seen most of these clips so let them have their cringe u.s. bts experience like all armies get to experience. They can always catch up to the recent ones too but the old ones will also give them context when looking at other moments or just tying to connect to other armies as well. Imagine if they didn’t know what significance “I like Panda Express” means bc yall told them not to watch the old videos

these compilations are from 2018-ish so they reflect the humour of that time. it may be cringe now but it is a part of the fandom's history regardless

These interviews are fun and silly but at the same time I cannot stop thinking about how media was not taking BTS seriously at all. They could have easily hired a translator ( they do now a days ) and asked them real questions. Every single interview was "what's your fav food" "what's your dream collab" "who is the messiest" bla bla bla.. at one point when an interviewer finally asked them about their music and album THEY WERE SO SHOCKED. You could see how much they were happy to talk about what they wanted in that interview. I hope you guys will watch sugaarmy or jinnieats like them the new compilations. They are recent UpToDate and for old ones just watch the interviews for fun but don't take them literally as who they are now hehe

As much as I laugh at Joon's face during this interviews and the boy's energy, I would prefer not having to deal with them in the future. It's not about the language barrier, the interviewers easily could hire a translator to have the same amount of fun in their native language. It's mostly because all the interviews were shallow and kept giving them silly challenges and just a couple of them asked them about their music. One or two would be fun, but spending the whole day answering the same stuff?? I don't think I have the same patience 😅

I remember when my mom was first getting into BTS, I cracked up laughing at one of those laughs in an interview and said "I love his salty ass laugh" and my mom was just like "oh I thought that was his real laugh and kept thinking its a weird laugh" cuz he does it so much 😂

13:49 It's really interesting looking back on these old interviews (F*ck my intеrviews in years ago. I'm whole different, not that anymore - Change pt.2) Things like this part as he's since talked about how he's really not sure marriage and children are for him any more. Although that was also over two years ago, so who knows what his stance on that is now.
I appreciate how open he is with us and that he trusts us with that kind of information. The pressure to get married and procreate, especially in SK must be huge so for him to say that was very brave!

Although they are still chaotic at times especially when they are together but they've matured and are more reserved during the interviews. Although these interviews were silly more than professional, it did showcase their individual unique personalities and made us fall in love with them.

hii wes and steph. I hope if you wanna watch compilations then you choose recent ones from good channels. These compilations are VERY old and outdated. The members always grow and they have evolved so much. They are not the same anymore. Like with you said about Namjoon and kids, he used to love the idea about having kids and how he wants to be a dad, but now he doesnt. He expressed strongly he cannot think of kids. Just like that everything changes with time. I know you guys are very familiar with how the members are and that is why its lil weird seeing you watch these outdated stuff lol. If its for fun then all good but still.. after knowing the members NOW these more than half a decade old videos feel a little stereotyping 😭These are baby army stuff 😭😭😭

Exactly. they’re silly intentionally, and ppl can enjoy unserious humor AS WELL as “sophisticated/witty” humor. Like ppl can laugh at a cartoon character slipping on a banana peel and also laugh at satirical jokes commenting on the state of the world. It’s okay to enjoy both and find both funny
