The live version has the violin more clearly in the mix you can hear the timbre of bowed strings in the mix as opposed to the strummed or plucked strings of guitars which makes it more interesting. I have only found on video of it live and it was filmed sideways - so the video is distracting but the mix is different (though a phone microphone probably isn't picking up the bass and the bass is HEAVY) They have a back catalogue of six albums and a seventh due out in August. They are an interesting band.
