I tried vegan diet and I changed butter to oils like olive oil and I got terrible gas which I never had. I tried diffrent types of oils and the results was always the same! Butter is life!
Turns out grass fed butter helps cure gum disease. So all the years going to the dentist they never once mentioned this, they just keep taking my money for 'cleaning' when they could have told me that I just had to eat grass fed butter and liver and I'd be golden. Feel like I've been lied to by the system.
Butter being unpasteurized aka raw is just as important as it being 100 percent grass fed. Pasteurization kills the enzymes in butter needed for proper digestion, not to mention the heating process destroys the fat soluable vitamins in butter. Don't consume dead products
I got myself Kerrygold butter today from Costco.. and let me tell you the packaging makes me feel like I’m buying a block of gold 😻 I can’t wait to try it. Since I’ve been lied to my whole life that butter is bad for you 🙄
You're so welcome! Ghee is clarified butter (the milk solids have been removed so just the fat remains). It's great for people who want to avoid lactose. 😊
It's hard to offer recommendations without knowing more, but I personally would still eat it. A GAPS practitioner will be able to better guide you after knowing your personal situation :)
Hi! Can you recommend some ideas for consuming ghee? I bought some but so far haven't found a way that I like to eat it. I don't really prefer the flavor to butter but I don't want to waste it. It's organic and grass-fed.
You can use it anywhere you'd use butter, and more. It's more heat stable than butter so you can use it for sautéing. You can put it on top of cooked vegetables, mix it into cooked fruit, and spread it on anything. If it's good ghee it should taste the same as butter.
Omg! It’s late at night but I’m tempted to jump in my car and run to the store for some butter!!! 😂 We eat ghee... I wonder how it compares? Do you have any idea? 🤷♀️ Ugh, can’t believe margarine is naturally grey!!! 🤢 Awesome video!
Haha that's great!! Aww thanks!! Ghee is clarified butter, which means that the milk solids have been separated out, so only the fat remains. It's really great! We use that at times as well. It's great for people who are sensitive to lactose. 😊
Kerry gold isnt actually grassfed butter, please dont buy it. Also its pasteurized so really its crap regardless. Do your research if you really want to do right for yourself and for your family. Know what labeling terms actually mean in your state. Ultimately just get your butters and meats from your local farmers.
It's highly individual :) Dr. Natasha recommends working up to at least 1/2 cup of animal fat a day (in addition to what is already in meals) if not more.
Your right, it's called conjugated linoleic acid CLA, which is powerful in protecting against cancer and helps shed excess body fat to name a few benefits

There is a lot of misinformation out there :( Sorry you had to go through that.
Hi @abe 11 did you use butter to brush your gums, or did you just eat it to help with gum disease? Thanks 🙏🏼
@@alfredoparra_ Eat it lol. Also I've found that sardines have helped my gum health alot too (again, eating them not brushing my teeth with them)
@@Abe-rz1nm thanks so much for the info. Helps a lot!

What is the best way to keep raw butter fresh and nutrient dense?
Refrigerated is probably best for storage. That will keep it fresh and the nutrients intact 😊
how long does fresh buttermilk from making butter last? thank you!
In the fridge it should last for quite a few weeks :)

Awesome! Wasn’t sure if some of the vitamins got lost in the separation process! Thanks so much, love your channel! 🤗
@@bubbiespeachesnaturalfoods3620 Nope, the vitamins are all in the golden fat part, so you get them all in ghee! 😊😊 Thanks, you're so sweet!! 🤗

Anybody have online sources for grass fed raw butter?
I would love to know, too! I can get raw butter locally, but they don't have any right now.
Do you eat on toast every day? Butter?
I have it in some form every day: on bread, on vegetables, eggs cooked in it, etc. :)
