Snake was also in the spot with Greedon of being overlooked. The deck was strong for having early rush turns, a draw engine via Unpreceden (and recycling it with Vulkaan golem) and is able to pump out 6 swings a turn. With the new Doji support that it could steal, the list was running TD PGs (since they have “Stealth” in their name) to be searchable off Izasou’s top 5 add a stealth. Kagechika also enables recycling Dojis from drop to help fill up board as either search fodder or swings. Also another thing to note for Sydney, it also took advantage of the fact that the deck is also a knowledge check since not many people actually know what the card does.
My friend played the snake. It is very good at early rush, plusing with stealth searching and deck thinning. When reaching g3 they can do 6 attacks with about 4 of those attacks having power that can hit over a defensive trigger.
You're welcome LMAO. (It's Michu) At the time we were testing she was viable hahahah. I'm not so sure in the current format 😅 Snake is good. Grats on the tops! Greedon was very slept on; but there WAS discussion about it when it first dropped, I just think no one took anyone seriously LMAO Also Zorga is p good right now, I don't think itll be as good going into set 13 tho.
What would you suggest for players who want to get into vanguard? Got a stoichea starter a while ago but im hoping to actually get into the game and see if I can do webcam games with others. Unsure if there's different formats to play or not but i generally like standard if it's healthy and not extremely expensive.
I was the Top 8 Astral Poet player in Vancouver. Can confirm i did win cuz my opponents weren't able to fetch defensive pieces. Only lost to Thavas that drew 2 PGs with their draw engine cards and Nightrose that came down to me not seeing Valk on the last turn of the game.
The thing is with decks like greedon. Its revealed, people shit on it and overlook it. Then people (me included) aks: did you even test it? It looks good…
You should try raging form dragon it good deck. Atm it better then luard in premium because the force maker you generate and combination with chainrancor
I absolutely disagree with you. I'm a big shadow paladin guy and I have played with both decks a lot and raging form has a much stronger early game push than luard does and is not afraid to write up do two or three Vanguard attacks generate a bunch of force markers and push their opponent to high damage. Luard feels a little bit slow for this format. Revengers also have a better matchup against Megacolony and Link Joker. I feel a little better being on Revengers against Naru even though both are tough match ups. Luard is about to get a big power buff from its upcoming standard support so that will likely shift the meta but I think RFD is better for now.
@@foxxipenguinwhat’s ur take for luard in v premium, the last time i checked it still tops a lot yet based on the recent tournaments several other decks popped up, is luard getting weaker or people’s just bored with it?
@@Sekki321 I don't play V but Luard is viable. Shadows and Megacolony are the last clans to get their V promos revealed so other clans have gotten a little support too. Shadows might bounce back. I think V is dead though tbh
Of course MLB tops I was there in NYC, when everything is best of 1 you just got to double crit evey game to win, how many bad players win by double criting or over trigger offensively If it was 2 out of 3 Then yeah you got lucky once but can you do it again?

I thought Victor was cursed after our testing bro ☠️☠️☠️
It's ok bro, u just needed a little motivation to get back your Le factor
The Snake uses Shojodoji support, and we just got some solid cards for that in DBT11.
Snake is basically Murakumo that allows you to attack with back row

It's what the deck does :D Sad to hear about the unlucky part tho. Congrats!
@@SolemnVanguard ty ty. I was glad to get the top 8 cuz it was my first Regionals and losing to Charlie/CardDweeb is not a bad way to go out.
"I'm scared of Susanoo" Sounds like Honey to my ears.
Honey doesn't even make sound
Pretty cool for having Flame Wingman as the background.
I would love to see you cover shadowverse evolve. Really like your videos!
Will you be revealing your granblue list at some point? Kinda curious on your nightrose ratio
I wouldn't mind seeing that Granblu bolt decklist
Im sad fir the lack of GN, and Leopald reverse at only 1 top
The one deck below vanquisher in V in sidney...is that...Bloody Armor Break Dragon? 🤔🤔😳😳
yes overlord. if only Steven doesn't stop me. lol
Nice that there is more diversity in the tops now
Anyone knows what happened to luard? Barely see the deck topping in recent tournaments
In v? I think it's too slow
The snake it uses Shojodoji support so seeing it and Shojodoji they are pretty good decks
All aboard for the Gredora slander
ALSO VICTOR BEST DECK LETS GOOO
LMAAOOO

I mean, given that there's people topping consistently, I don't feel best-of-1 can just explain away things topping. In D, maybe more easily, sure...
@@SolemnVanguard oh I was referring to D, prem best format and V is cool too cause no over trigger xD
As if Mizukaze wasn't bad enough, a Rinne over Hanzo made me wanna scoop when i don't have heals in hand😂
Sydney V-Premium has taught me, Memes can truly becomes Dreams LOL
Congratulations Solemn!!!!! I REALLY need to talk to you!!!!!! YOU’RE MY FUCKING HERO!!!!!!!!!
I may have let Jacky through to top 8 cuz I suck at Maelstrom. He would have been x-2 if I won that game.
The messiah player got lucky the deck is horrid . And the shoji player had a marked overtrigger and cheated all day
