Finally picked up Vanguard Dear Days on the Switch cause it was on sale. If it wasn't for your vids, I wouldn't have cared enough to pick it up. I'm having a great time with it, thanks for all of those awesome videos man. Keep 'em comin'!
I used to despise this deck for I find it disgustingly good but now you've changed my mind. This is a really fun and strong deck and now I wanna pick it up!
Do tell how he changed your mind, I'm curious. I wanted to like this deck and even pulled an FFR for it, but it's just pure bs for anything except the mirrors and any other tier 1 deck (and even that is debatable)
@@CosmicNebula444 well when I first get to know this deck, I see this deck as a no brainier deck, like really straight forward. What changed me wasn’t really Christ but the players playing this deck, seeing how this deck has its flaws and some strategic choices to make really gives point to the deck (to me, i like having to make little choices mid battle). Having need to make decisions, controlling the game and your resources made me open up to this deck. My point. Question, wdym by pure bs for anything. I actually beat 3 out of 4 matches of Gandeeva with messiah. And messiah isn’t even tier 1.
@eugenelim9569 Messiah isn't a deck I know much about admittedly, but most decks in the game can't handle power scaling that ramps up this quick. It's also why stride decks are on my hit list, in a format with no shield skills like these are too overwhelming, but Gandeeva takes it to another level. Any "flaws" the deck has come from bricking, and saying a deck is fine just because it can brick isn't a good justification. This was a good game, don't get me wrong, I can also clearly see the different plays here and how the different approaches changed their gamestate. Was fascinating, honestly. But fact of the matter is, against any other deck, the game wouldn't have lasted that long. That turn 4 of the first player with what, 40k+ attacks would've killed. Both of these guys hit defensive OT too which is just hilarious I'm sorry if I'm saying all this as matter of fact but, I'm very passionate about my distaste for this deck. Aside from a couple matchups, man steamrolls everything in its path, and I just can't see otherwise.
@@CosmicNebula444 Man I feel you, stride decks were a mistake. But from what’s been released by Bushiroad, there are some decks which are getting better and better as the set go, smth like welstra got really strong after a few sets and promos. So I have hope for the future that decks we love will get to compete with gandeeva in the future ( tho yes your point we can’t compete with it with our decks now). Btw, I love how you point out shield values are essential in this format, Im also hoping for amazing defensive support in the future too. Anywayss as a messiah player I can be safe to tell you that the only way you win is to rush them early and hope they don’t get defensive. That is the only weakness to the deck besides piece reliant. It ain’t as flexible as chronojet but you must prevent late game when fighting this deck.
@eugenelim9569 Finally someone else who thinks stride decks were a bad idea lmao but that's exactly what I mean, I hate when your best way to beat a deck is to "hope and pray," gotta put your foot down at some point and say "maybe this is a bit too much" But yeah I miss 10k shield grade 1s man 😭
It should have been 20k. There was a lot of bad numbers throughout the vid honestly , which shows everyone can make mistakes. @16:08 theres an underguard from the player on the right also
Um.... Maybe I found miss play. gandeeva's first effect rertire 1 unit, so binded card is 2, not 1. retire 1 unit, 1 draw and 1 bind, and then 1 unit was retired 1 bind plus. is that RIght?
Can you do a Diabolos, "Viamance" Bruce deck profile next please and if you may I suggest you use 3 Diabolos, "Viamance" Bruce 4 Diabolos Boys, Eden and 4 Diabolos Diver, Julian
22:45 If you use Rugent first then Gandeeva, you will draw 1 bind 3. If you use Gandeeva first and you retire 2 so bind 2, if retire 1 you draw 1 bind 2, Rugent CB1 draw 1 bind 1 if Gandeeva retire 2 or retire 1 bind 1 if Gandeeva retire 1. It's no difference between Rugent first or Gandeeva first. 🤔🤔🤔
Incorrect , you can make notes during the game as long as theyre in a timely manner and not slowing the game down. Specifically rule 3.18 @@muhammadnuryuliantos5778
More videos like this would be appreciated, even for locals.
Yes, please!

No clue whats going on as I don't follow the TCG, but here for the commentary!
4:30 why right player don't bind a second card when using Gandeeva effect? He missplay or don't want to?
Starting the video off with the best Colosseum BGM
you are so good at commentating sir
Loved the video! ❤
question, on 21:00, the left one (from our point of view) got front and crit, how come he get 30k defensive? thanks
It should have been 20k. There was a lot of bad numbers throughout the vid honestly , which shows everyone can make mistakes. @16:08 theres an underguard from the player on the right also

You are right. The player on the right side did misplay his first grade 3 turn. I noticed that also.
I also didn’t see him draw 2 after using Best Harvest to retire 2 on his 2nd G3 turn
@@Sol-Kage Had he played the deck like he was supposed to I think he would have lost.
hella entertaining man keep it up
The Megaman background music ❤
Your awesome ❤❤❤❤ stand up the vanguard
4:29 i thought he can bind 2 for gandiva's skill?
Damn you're right, missed that even when re-watching
i thought there was some big brain play going on that I don't know about since it's a "you may" skill 😂
More content like this ❤❤❤
Looks like an under guard at 16:08. 18k column + 15 in bind should be 48k but they guard 35k to match 48k so attack should still hit
1 micro second into the video and I see descendant sleeves. GG for his opponent

Can we take note each time gandiva player bind a trigger so that way we can know how many triggers in the bind zone?
nope you can't take any kind of note during the game

Yooo whats the bgm being used I'm sure it's from a yugioh game but not sure which!
It's from Pokemon Colosseum. I think it's the Team Cipher theme
3:56
misplay, he should've bound 2 instead of 1
Gandeeva is actually a really good and fun deck to play, I managed to win 3 games in a row at a shop
the deck is unfair, virtually has no counterplay, as it gains advantage either way you play against it
20:53 why did he get +30k from checking two triggers here?
He got a defensive from taking the Alfakar swing prior and 2 more defensives from Vanguard swing
His second dmg was a trigger too. But he didnt put a +10k then. Only after he took another 3 dmg and got 2 trigger then he place the +30k
@@blastchaos4286thanks missed that
I need the black playmate.
I like narrated fights
Can we get the decklist for both players?
JP uses one hivemind list
Nice vid
maybe it's the OCD/traditionalist side of me but i really don't see the point in playing Arhinsa if everyone knows Arhinsa = Gandeeva ride line
