The nose guns can be popped off and your space man can dual wield some space shotguns. Then alien ship is meh, but bug-headed alien with ray gun is a great figure. I think part of is is the wings fold down like it should be a walker or landing on them but the slopes at the back make it sit unevenly like it wasn't really thought out.
I feel the dullness of the Burj Khalifa set reflects how the real thing is just a giant tower built by a mega rich guy to flex how he can build anything despite it being pretty useless.
I actually see it as an impressive marvel of engineering that proves what we are capable of in the world of construction but it seems like you only look on the bad side of things.

I remember being 11 and getting the very first land speeder set. I grew up with the original star wars and it blew my mind. I still collect every version of it. I'm 36
I love the first wave Lego Star wars sets in general. Had the land speeder, the X-wing, snow speeder, the Endor scout trooper/speeder bike set, and even a few Episode 1 builds and it was a pretty exciting time for Star wars fans not just because of the phantom menace but also because of the partnership with Lego to bring us these cool sets. I just wish I had kept the boxes and instruction manuals with them but of course as kids we don't really think that far ahead.

What qualifies as a minifigure? If it's filled with steel support beams, can it really be called a minifig? I'd say it's a sculpture made to look like a minifigure.

It will when its color fades and becomes brittle with years of UV light exposure. Jokes aside, some builds are badly outdated with poor design, while some remains charming with its unique blocky aesthetics.
7:20 Per definition it is a trike, even with 4 wheels. The front wheels are close enough together. BMW Isetta has also 4 wheels, but is a trike on paper for the same reason.
I’m from Chicago and live in West Virginia, but I’ve been all over the country… I’ve never heard anyone refer to it as “Willis Tower”, always “Sears Tower” As a side note, when I was a kid I always thought it was “searis tower” or something like that… thought there was an I in there at the end.
The Himeji castle set is great… but I wish it included more of the actual castle. The set really only portrays the keep and the small courtyard out front. That leaves out a lot of the other charm points of the castle.
I have the Obi Wan vs. Darth Vader set; it’s not that bad. It does have the standard duel set functions, and the fact you can make fire pop up is a quite novel feature.

I don't have any architectural sets, but Hijemi castle was a set I definitely wanted and I can say it definitely is an impressive build and quite detailed though most of it is hidden when finished.

I own both the 2011 one and the 2016 one - they made definite improvements from the 208 piece 2011 model to the 333 piece 2016/2019 model. Current ratings - 2011 has a 3.2 star, and 2016 set has 3.9. Set numbers of the newer models: 21031 and the re-release 21055.
Its two different sets, with that much piece count difference its different. The apollo had the same number of pieces and was re-release. Thats the difference

I don’t want to sound negative but for a ten minute video about lazy LEGO sets it’s peculiar to me why the video only focuses on four sets that match the topic of the video. I can understand maybe wanting to showcase what a good quality set of a similar theme would be to show how lazy the other set was but you talked more about the well built sets than the sets that are supposed to be the main point of the video.

To be fair about the Sears Tower, it's a big rectangular skyscraper. There's not a lot you can do with that. The pricing for the set is atrocious, but I wouldn't call it lazy so much as just limited.
