Sad in some ways to leave the Boleyn but it's not the same as I remember from the 70s and 80s. The ground looks old and the infrastructure outside just can't cope on match-days. If this move is done properly this could certainly take us to another level and certainly awaken the sleeping giant that is West Ham United! COYI

It personally can't stand these modern stadiums all lacking imagination all oval shaped, but then again it's an athletic stadium. Not so sure about regeneration, it's not for local people all private. We have Newham Council telling people who need to be housed, you can be rehoused but you have to go up north, just ask the E15 mums who've been protesting about being told to go up north, whilst the lovely council sell of land to the rich. The one thing that is painfully obvious from your brilliant video is that DESPITE being used in the Para-Olympics access to the stadium for wheelchair users is .....ERRRRM TOTALLY SHITE......did you count the number of stairs that Bullingdon Boris promised would not still be there......?
yea cos your identity and being close to the pitch is less important than being able to buy an expensive pizza, the view from the top of the orbital, and being miles from the pitch...

I get that. and it's a great deal. but having been in it twice already, the stadium isn't perfect. it's not a football stadium. it's an adapted athletics stadium. for example, the gaps behind the goals between upper and lower tiers are huge. which could seriously harm the atmosphere.

Aint arlf changed round there since I was a nipper! I used to walk from my drum in Stratford to Upton Park for home games down West Ham Lane.
