If you can track back to the early christians in the 1st century you'll see that they did most of the things that orthodox Christians and some Catholics do. But saying that Christians should not do the sign of the cross because Jesus didn't do that is wrong and is clearly an Islamic tradition because muslims do everything that the prophet Muhammad does. When you translate any book or literature words don't stay the same nor in the correct order.Translators have to rearrange the words correctly for the language they were translating it into so that it would make sense. Different languages have different sentence structure. Germans do not have the same gramatical sentence structure as we do so it may sound confusing to us if the order was the same word for word. There are direct translations, word for word from the hebrew bible, and there are translations that arent word for word and are rearanged for simplicity. It does however, contain the same meaning, essence, and complete message of the original. The sentences are infact not "entirely different', in fact they arent different at all, it could possibly be worded differently which is what happens when things are translated. Even if Jesus never taught Sign of the Cross, it's symbolic representation of both His sacrifice on the cross as well as the of the Father, the Son & Holy Ghost. So it is rooted in the Gospels, not made up from thin air. Something does not need to be explicitly tought by Jesus or found explicitly in the Bible to be a good, Christian practice. After the death and resurrection the holy spirit came to be our teacher and he taught the apostles how to speak and also to pray. So much of the practises of the early church father's was influenced by the third person of the trinity. The holy sacraments, fasts and symbols such as the cross came to be after it was passed down generation after generation by the early christians. If you can track back to the early christians in the 1st century you'll see that they did most of the things that orthodox Christians and some Catholics do. But saying that Christians should not do the sign of the cross because Jesus didn't do that is wrong and is clearly an Islamic tradition because muslims do everything that the prophet Muhammad does. The prophet died but the holy spirit even after the ascension of Jesus stayed back and taught things to the early Christians which is what we do now.

He also doesn't follow alot of the messiah teaching, because he plants the seed of judgment on a righteous level. When you translate any book or literature words don't stay the same nor in the correct order.Translators have to rearrange the words correctly for the language they were translating it into so that it would make sense. Different languages have different sentence structure. Germans do not have the same gramatical sentence structure as we do so it may sound confusing to us if the order was the same word for word. There are direct translations, word for word from the hebrew bible, and there are translations that arent word for word and are rearanged for simplicity. It does however, contain the same meaning, essence, and complete message of the original. The sentences are infact not "entirely different', in fact they arent different at all, it could possibly be worded differently which is what happens when things are translated. The bible says God is all knowing meaning god sees Yestreday, tomorrow, next week all at the same time. He sees every possible way life ends up. We Christians believe in the trinity. He most likely showed his gratitude towards Allah, because of course the Quran had not yet been revealed, and the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) then told us how we should pray as Muslims from now on.
