    On a quick rinseless like you're doing i like to do the windowsills up first and dry, similar to how you did half the car then dried that half. I like to get all the glass and roof done and dry fast as possible cuz I'm mobile and always working outside and often in the sun. Then I do the hood n front fenders, then door sides then rear. ❤❤😊

      That's awesome Kirk! I'm going to have to give that method a try maybe it can make me slightly more efficient makes sense!! 💪

    Thanks for the advice! I purchased my new car June of this year & wash it every weekend unless it’s raining & have been thinking about what I would do with it starting to get cold. This process solved my problem now I just need to get a couple of products & I’ll be good to go this winter 👍🏼👍🏼

      Anytime! Im glad you found this videos helpful and a solution to your problem 💪💪. Congrats on your new vehicle is it the Honda in your pic? Yes rinseless wash you can do it all year around too! And these products will last you a minimum of 16 washes if you buy a 16oz rinseless but the gallon will last you 70 washes 😅. That's a year and a half of washing! Also tire shine should last you about 30 washes for the price depending what size you get the bigger the more it'll last. If you enjoy testing products then 16oz bottles are for you 🫡

    My favorite are N914 and DiyD RW + Di water. My sponge still look brand new after 50 washes between four uncoated cars. My polishing pads and MF clean up well with RW soak too. That's how i know this stuff works.

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  9 месяцев назад +1

      That's awesome to hear. N914 is fire 🔥. Yeah the sponges last a very long time. I've had one that lasted over 120 washes until I was like I don't like the way it looks even though it could have kept going another 100 washes 😅. Also the surfactant base rinseless are great at cleaning pads too. That's what I use either DIY RW or Eco Wash or N914

    Hey soc, I do a similar process... but i typically wash all the top surfaces 1st..then go to the sides..I find in the winter or in the garage when I'm not worried about drying. I will wash the entire vehicle then dry it.. its faster for me but splitting hairs really....have a happy Thanksgiving man

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  9 месяцев назад

      That’s a great process! I’m used to doing this with my wife typically. So our method is half a car we like to stay near the bucket and practically mirror each other. All I do is just the top surfaces overall since we have one step ladder. Thank you my brother! Have a happy thanksgiving as well 💪🙏

    So is DIY your favorite rinseless for now or is there another one you like best? Also, which drying aid did you use?

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  9 месяцев назад +1

      DIY is on my top 3 at the moment. Favorite Rinsless is hard to say but it's high up there top 4 at the moment is DIY Rinseless Eco Wash and McKees N914 Wash and wax and absolute.
      There is a new one coming out this Friday called Idrosave from Labocosmetica. I hear that's an amazing rinseless Wash. As for drying aid I used Glassparency Boost. But you can use DIY Ceramic Gloss, Beadmaker, Paint gloss or even the same Rinsless 🫡

    If the SUV was really dirty... like little caked on mud , bugs, tar... How would this process change ? Quick pressure wash? Bug & Tar removal before or after pretreat?

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hey yes if it had caked on mud bugs and tar the process will change. I would pretreat the car areas with either a APC and if bugs bug remover let dwell then rinse off. Then pre treat the entire car with rinseless let dwell and move on to this normal process. All this will add is an extra 5-10 minutes to the process.

    I thought if u had a ceramic coated car and/or used a ceramic sealant you shouldn’t use a wax? Bc the wax would cover the ceramic and not be as hydrophobic, repellent etc…

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes you are right if you add a rinseless wash with wax in it it will take the characteristics of the wax and the wax protection going to be on top of the coating. Same with a sealant. The premise here is trying to minimize the beating the coating will take in the winter time buy applying a si02 sealant on the coating or using a Wash n wax rinseless and having a sacrificial layer of protection to go ahead and take the beating of the heavy sodium chloride of the salts on the road as its corrosive. The coating can easily withstand the winter for sure! But will definitely take a little hit in terms of longevity for the harsh salt chemicals in the road. Hopefully I was able to explain it properly and made sense.
      If you’re are using an Si02 sealant typically that doesn’t matter if you put on top of the coating. As it’s the same chemical make up of a coating. But a wax you will definitely not get the same hydrophobicity of a ceramic coating 👍
