I need help!! 😂😂 I was like that with Rinsless when it came to how well it cleans and just using one bucket too awhile for me to use just one bucket. Before I would have a rinse bucket for my Rinsless 😥😥 The legacy sponge is great. Perfect amount of density and great surface area coverage. That Red side does feel softer yet firmer than the original BRS.

    Many good rinseless tips shown in your video! I use the Big Red Sponge for rinseless washes or I throw eight Eagle Edgeless 350 towels in my rinseless solution. I don’t like black sponges because you can’t see if you have a piece of grit stuck in the sponge. On red or yellow sponges you can see black particles and make sure and remove them before cleaning the next panel. The high pressure pre-rinse is the key to success. Very good demonstration on rinseless technique.

      Thanks a lot bro! Yes I need to show that method as well with Microfiber towels! Yeah it's a pro and con. I don't mind the UBS at all. I get about seeing dirt. As for aesthetic purposes I would want a black and gold. Since it's matches the colors of my brand 😭😭😭. Yes the pre-rinse with high pressure is key. If we don't knock off the loose dirt and heavy debris before hand you are doing a de service. Glad you enjoy the content 🤛

    Finally got to use diy rinseless and it definitely feels better than onr. But the one thing onr has it going for them still, is that it drags the dirt to the bottom faster. Was gonna try absolute but didn't want to sit there for minutes trying to mix it in.

    • @havingtoomuchfun4806
      @havingtoomuchfun4806 Год назад +2

      DIY has a video explaining the science behind their Rinseless. It may not drop the dirt in the bucket, but my sponge stays way cleaner. To me that’s more important.

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  Год назад +1

      It's a give an take ONR works great. N914 Absolute Wolfgang. It's no perfect Rinsless wash if that's the case others won't exist. I explain it more on the following video that schedule to come out next week. But there we are pulling hairs. Absolute feels slicker but takes 5 min to mix in. But DIY cleans better. ONr drops the dirt quicker to the bottom. 914 is a median of all 3. Pick your poison. The emulsification I like of DIY. Hope this clears some things up 😅

  • @MrChuckwagon55
    @MrChuckwagon55 Год назад +3

    That’s a brilliant idea. Giving it time to dwell is a good idea too. ONR is much more protective than any soap. Separately, I’m considering getting a clear wrap on my car, like a second clearcoat.

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  Год назад +2

      Always giving any product time to dwell is always worked best for me. In terms of cleaning whether it's Rinsless m, wheel cleaner , APC the more you let it break down and emulsify the dirt the safer the wash 💪💪. Even when applying tire shine I let the rubber soak it all up 😂😂.
      PPF is definitely a great option preserves the paint amazingly well. Only draw back is can't clay ppf. Same with I think using Iron remover on it etc. certain things you can't do on it. I'm not an expert on ppf. But one thing I love is the whole scratch healing properties!!!

      Glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for tuning in. I know I used way more QB. 😭😭 I'm the more is more guy especially on wet panels. It took about 2 years of seeing rinseless washes back in 2017 to get converted into it then 2019 I started using it routinely.
      Couldn't have said it best! You need to be cognizant of what you are doing just like you wouldn't use a MF towel with a piece of rock or heavy debris on a soap wash same goes for a RW. Knock off the heavy contaminants .
      I've used All clean 10:1 I like to use that with a hose. The extra tough wheel and tire cleaner is amazing You can use it as a waterless wash/Rinseless if dries on the surface doesn't damage automatically becomes Neutral. My favorite wheel and tire cleaner for winter.

      @@DetailingMadeSimple what’s the difference between polish &compound? Will polish remove swirls? Am trying to get a clear view on it. Also even doe we don’t have more info one the diy polish. Will I need to compound as well.

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  Год назад

      @Steven V I can make a dedicated video on a difference between a compound and a polish.
      A polish removes light defects, swirls, and oxidation. It also enhances the gloss and brings out shine!
      A compound on the other hand it's abrasives is intended to remove deeper clear coat defects, heavy oxidation heavy swirls. But in turn doesn't leave the finish glossy . Will make your paint look swirl free in turn it will look opac, hazy and cloudy. A compound pretty much leaves it's own "defects behind". But with a polish it's easily removed.
      As for the DIY detail polish based on what they've said on their videos and comments. It is a hybrid polish. Depending on the polishing pad choice/pad dependent it can cut like a compound or finish like a polish. If I need more cutting action I would use the DIY detail polish with a microfiber or wool cutting pad and will cut like a compound. Now to finish down for the second step and gloss you would use their gold polishing waffle pad or any polishing pad of your choice.
      Take note that it is not a dedicated compound although it is pad dependent if you need a true compound you would need one as the abrasives technology is meant for cutting only! Hopefully this helps. Based on what they have said my best guess which is a great product as well is 3D One Polish. Look that up. I used it myself a bunch. If their polish cuts more than 3D One and Finish better DIY detail hit the nail in the coffin. We all won't know until we test it out.
