- In this video I deep dive into how I think the Giants came about, how the Buccaneers are made, what their special ability is, and how both of these races are connected to the Sky Island of Birka and the Birkans.
I absolutely love the connection with the helmet and tying the Giants to the Sky people. Really fresh perspectives and well needed in this community
These are not new connections. If anything these are ideas from years ago just being collected together.

Its so easy not use it and it is unethical. Most creators have stated they think its evil. You realize Oda id an artist right, its disrespectful to him.
@GoldLegYan that's not true they're not stealing from other artists they are trained on other art. That's like saying if you paint in the naturalist style, you're stealing from the naturalist who came before you. It is literally just teaching them what different types of art look like, and then the AI uses those teachings to CREATE NEW ART. You're implying the ai is making like a collage of other artists' art. That is not the case. It is creating new art in the style of other artists.
The logical extreme of your argument against AI art would be to have every single type of art style patented and owned by specific artists, and then no other artist can draw anything similar to it. It makes no sense. Imagine if the first person to draw in the manga/anime style patented the style. We would never be able to have any other manga because "only the first creator can draw like that."
It makes no sense. I understand artists are mad they are losing jobs, but people lose jobs to technology all the time. It's just the way of the world. This is the same thing as factory workers complaining about automation taking their jobs. Also, the number of artists whom the AI was trained on who had a truly "unique" style is incredibly low, I would guess under 100. ALL artists learn by copying other artists' styles, and most of them never get their own truly unique style.
Again, I understand that it sucks people lost jobs, but that's the way of the world. It is what it is. Journalists have been telling factory workers "learn to code" for decades now, but they want to act like AI art is a travesty? It doesn't work both ways.

@@theodorejenkins6066 its stealing its taking art from other artists without their permission often with the intent of selling derivatives of their work. Its identity theft specifically, stealing the years of work and effort it took for those artists to make that work. & yeah if it were humans you could reference those works but its not its a computer that is taking all the miyazaki images it can take and then applying that as a style then naming the style so it can steal it and make more works like miyasaki.
If there was an ethical way to do I would say that people could only do it for dead artists or for artists that opted into it, or they could atleast buy art work to train their ai models with but they don't they steal everything they can and use it. You will notice that most people that create ai art are people that can't make art on their own, or are people that are just trying to make a quick buck. You know its wrong and you are coping.
Its not just about people losing their jobs its about losing art as a whole. Art made by a machine is ugly and horrifying it doesn't even matter what it looks like. It wasn't made by a person its just an uncanny amalgamation and the more you look at it the more you can tell it has no soul in it. If we keep using this technology then we will destroy ourselves. It should genuinely be ignored and thrown away.

Only problem I have with gigantification on elbaf is that Mother Caramel started her operation when she was 43 and it ended at around 80 when big mom ate her. Big mom was max 15 years old when that happened which means this happened around 50 years ago. Sorry and Broggy mentioned that there was only 1 guy to ever leave little garden and Louis Arnold is known to have both met Dorry and Broggy and left little garden. Since their fight started around 100 years ago this would only leave a gap of at max 10-20 years between Lois Arnold and mother caramel being on Elbaf. This would mean that the gigantification would've had to shut down in this gap since Louis was able to feel it/know of it while mother Caramel was completely unaffected for the 40 years she stayed on Elbaf.

I was just watching the video and saw this addressed. Caesar said that gigantism can only happen when someone is growing. Caramel was already a grown woman by the time she was there.
Another detail that's interesting is Balloon Terminal in the sky and balloons are things that are inflated to a larger scale

I think they are just regular Giants that lived on sky islands longer becoming Oni Giants, or all Giants come from Ancient Giants and slowly shrank into regular giants over time, but I do like your idea it would explain why we dont see that many ancient giants lol

I believe you might have hit the nail on the head with this one. Think about the Oni race,they could also be a cross between some of the original beast man tribe having children with the lunarians or the sky races. The nephilhem were known to be the largest abomination created by the fallen angels. Since the beast men are already known for their size and strength it would seem reasonable that buccaneers would be a cross between humans and the sky races. Which made them large,strong,and highly intelligent. The Oni race mixed with the sky race would explain why they are larger than regular giants, seeing as how beast men were as naturally larger than humans and have horns and teeth that resemble kaido. If the story really goes back 10,000 years it could be that the buccaneers inherited the technology of the sky people. Since humans lingered in the sky islands possible for generations could have created the giants. While like you said the sky races that mated with the humans created buccaneers, if they lived like families side by side with human in the pyrobloin some human family living together with the sky races would for hundreds of years definitely could have gave humans living there hundreds of years or even thousands caused the humans to become giants. The ones that crossbreed with humans becoming buccaneers, and since they had sky races blood wasn't effected by the growth it would mean buccaneers would be large but not giants. I assume that since beast men are already larger than humans,and naturally larger than the buccaneer hybrids would be a perfect explanation of why the Oni race were double the size of an ordinary giant. I love your theory and thoughts on this subject in one piece. Leading me to postulate the ancient kingdom consisted of all the races on the planet living in harmony. That could be why the 20 kingdoms destroyed them. It was probably 20 kingdoms of humans that hated every race other than their own and sought to destroy what they considered an abomination. Their jealousy and envy of the ancient kingdom most likely what the manifested the devil fruits. I'm also open to the idea that the 20 kingdoms created them through some sort of scientific means as a weapon along with the ancient weapons to overpower the ancient kingdom. This all makes a lot of sense that pyrobloin has given giants their power, but I’m curious though, where then do you think the ancient giants come from? They look a lot more like Kaido in that they have the Oni horns like him.
I got a couple of answers for that, I think Ancient Giants could have just lived next to pyrobloin way longer than regular giants and they just kept growing into Oni looking Giants. Or over time Oni Giants just shrank into regular giants because they weren't next to as much pyrobloin.
I was going to include more on the ancient giants and kaido but felt like it would have been too much information for the video, but I had a whole segment that Vegapunk created the Ancient Giants through Kaidos lineage factor. It was said the Numbers were created over 20 years ago and we got one of the numbers age and hes over 188 years old, which doesnt make sense if they were created 20 years ago, so I think Vegapunk somehow injected regular giants with Kaidos lineage factor and thats how he created Ancient Giants, it would also explain the age of 188 since regular giants live that long too

My theory is that big mom wasn’t meant to be so big, the food she ate on Elbaf along with the other kids was meant to turn them into giants. Carmel was running an operation of gigantifying kids in the underworld and that’s the reason she would get those orphans and take care of them on elbaf. Big mom was one of the only kids who succeeded in being so big because she craved food so much and ate so much compared to the other kids
I think Big Mom is the first and only ever successful artificial Giant, she was already massive before her parents left her on Elbaf and she gets the same exact tantrums/destruction mode as the children on Punk Hazard when she gets hungry just like when the Children get hungry

And while fully-grown giants would somehow no longer be useful, Buccaneers are in the in-between stage and the WG wanted them all enslaved so they could experiment on them for the secret of how gigantification is done

They are clearly 4-5 times the size of an average human, but smaller than actual giants. I used to think that may be they are half giants or something.
So I think the reason so many characters are crazy sizes are because of the pyrobloin throughout the world so Blackbeard and Whitebeard could come from families that could have been affected by pyrobloin just not to the degree of what actual giant families went through, and for Big Mom I think shes the first ever successful artificial Giant, I wanted to include that in the video but didnt want to make it longer than it had to be lol
@@ItsAlwaysSunnyInEniesLobby yeah because in the East Blue saga, most characters were indeed regular sized humans, hardly anybody over 7 feet in height there. If the show gets that far (which I honestly doubt) I wonder how they are going to do when casting these characters? Are they going to cast really tall actors or are they just going to use a few camera tricks. While the actor I had in mind for Whitebeard (Graham McTavish) is indeed quite tall, the one I had in mind for Blackbeard (Anthony Anderson) is pretty average. They ironically cast a 6'8 actor as Crocus, a character who isn't really described as particularly big. I can bet you 99 per cent Robert Bobrozky (the actor who plays the hybrid in "Alien Romulus") and is 8 foot tall will get some kind of role in One Piece.

We also have to remember that oda the night before chapter 500 came up with the supernovas. How ever we can see that from the beginning oda has had plans for certain characters. I believe that Jewelry bonney was introduced and then oda came up with the rest, how ever law and kid took center stage needed more fleshing out and then we had to kill ace.
So I think urugue was originally planned for skypea but for some reason oda wanted to wait till after he introduced buccaneers but he also needed to introduce so much more. Davy back fights, enies lobby always sunny, and then storm. Long ring long land. So after all that oda went ok I can now introduce burkkans. Ok Kuma. Ok Kuma backstory will be the next arc with Jenny and vegapunk .... Shit I just had an idea for some cool cats. Shit every one likes these guys.
