That riff sends a shiver down my spine EVERY TIME. First saw the Cult at the Manchester GMEX in 1992 as a student in my 1st year, followed them since the late 80s. One of the best bands of all time. Love them.
Unbelievable how great this song still sounds live today! I could listen to this song on continuous loop FOREVER! The Cult has been relentless and always give their fans an incredible live show! Long live The Cult…one of the best unadulterated rock bands ever!
das mit der Dauerschleife kann ich nachvollziehen, versuche es gerade auf der E-Gitarre als Anfänger nach zuspielen. Ich glaube die "Zerre" der Lead-Gitarre ist so gut für meine Ohren.
The 80's band's that have stood the test of time are those who had their own sound. The Cult is clearly one of those bands and this song is KILLER!!!! I have always loved it and they still sound great!!!!
He has the strength, his voice hasn't really aged, at all! But why, everytime, does he do this type of singing each time he has to sing this great song?
I saw them like 8 years ago in Boston. The band sounded great but Ian did not. He was awful. And he barely sang the melodies of the songs. He would talk them here and there. He sounds much better here. Lots of reverb and maybe he rested his voice. But I hear you, some great melodies should be respected especially by the writer, they were good to begin with. Laziness? Boredom? I don't know but Billy is solid.
Loved the Cult past tense , Ian needs a major overhaul I think the Cult is representative of a group that wasted golden opportunities multiple times thanks to Ian, sadly the Cult realized their potential long after their popularity had eroded and they now seem desperate to breathe life into a fire that's long dead but for the nostalgia. Like a chicken with it's head cut off the feet are still kicking but the Cult is already dead RIP

Astbury can't sing anymore & Duffy spends time covering his grey hair! I remember Zodiac Mindwarp blowing them clean offstage in Brixton as support act!
@@gearViewmirror .Asbury had more bad days than good lately saw them at barralands before lockdown voice was strange twang. Saw them in Glasgow may still no better.least Billy Duffy still batters out mean guitar to cover
When I think of my late brother in law that passed in the early 90's I think of this band. John loved The Cult and so do I.
RIP your brother, excellent taste in music. Have a good friend brother
I'm sure he was brilliant. I'm doing brother wolf, sister moon in his honor. Peace.
god bless xxxxxx
RIP your brother mate - one day we will rock again wherever that may be.
I never get bored of this song and I never will.

Tnx from Chile 🇨🇱
The drummer keeps the beat
John Tempest I think his name is, he's a brilliant drummer, not to mention he's worked with a few different bands over the years too
He has the strength, his voice hasn't really aged, at all! But why, everytime, does he do this type of singing each time he has to sing this great song?
It’s a sign of boredome
It is called artistic freedom or improvising.....i mean, who wants to watch a live show , that sounds exactly like on the record? Peace🎸🤘🎸

That guitar was made for the song
Lo ve
Natalland
I remember a time when people watched the concert through their eyes and not through a damn cell phone.
Manchester drags me down
Can`t make out the drummer, is it MS?
John Tempesta
Is that Bill Duffy playing guitar? Not dying his hair anymore?
Yeah that's him.

I wish Duffy would stop using the bloody trem on this track. Ruins it.
Nooooooooooo
Not the best live version that I have heard
Astbury can't sing anymore & Duffy spends time covering his grey hair!
I remember Zodiac Mindwarp blowing them clean offstage in Brixton as support act!
I dont
But whatever happend to them
Anybody can have a bad voice or hair day......and who the hell are Zodiac Mindwarp?🎸🤘🎸

Saw Fields of the Nephilim supporting Zodiac Mindwarp and they blew them off the stage.
Old men getting some retirement funds. Boring concert.
