- Traveling in 2021 is possible. Join us in our last trip from Puerto Escondido to Mazunte and the towns next to it (Oaxaca’s Coast).
MAZUNTE
In Mazunte we joined up with the locals to watch the sunset on Punta Cometa which feels a bit like a rock concert at the end of each day. Mazunte has a prevalent vegan community, a perfect bay for swimming laps, and a tropical hippie vibe. Looking for WiFi? Well, we mention some options for that.
VENTANILLA
This is the town before Mazunte. We hear it has a black sand beach and an island with dears and crocodiles. It is true, and it is worth it.
ZIPOLITE
After Mazunte there are San Agustinillo and then Zipolite. Zipolite is a party town, with a nude beach. We didn’t spend much time there, but we got to have a really nice view of what gives the town its name.
Thank you for watching :)

What an awesome place, never had I heard about it before until i saw your video. Awesome video as well. A plus to those words said buddy. I wish all Americans thought as you do.
It's magical in there. A very different experience. There's not much internet, but you don't need it. Thank you for watching it and taking the time to comment on it.
Absolutely gorgeous 🤩. Love your words about traveling to this magical place 💝 my dad is from Oaxaca, your videos are motivating me to go and explore 💖 tfs.
Mari, thank you so much. Go and explore! you will never regret it!
I liked the motion and character of this show. More relaxed, good camera work and consciousness.
Thank you for sharing 🙏 I camped on the beach here 20yrs ago, there was only a few restaurants bk then with palapas for tents/hammocks. While it now has more to offer, it still has a lot of charm! But I wish it had more rainforest! I’m still looking for the perfect place, this one is less developed/busy, beautiful, and affordable food, but a bit drier-less jungle that I prefer near the beach. It’s hard to take too so much sun...having rainforest right by the beach is lovely 👌 Can you suggest somewhere similar with more forest? Thks for all you share 💜😎
Hi there :) I just saw your comment on the other video. Ok, I just spent a month in Tulum. I know, many people go there. But I stayed in different areas and I liked it. Because the cenotes are from another world. If you have a scooter you can live in the jungle and go to the beach every day. Even though there are so many people, and it's pricy... I have to say I enjoyed my time there because there are so many vegan places and a big spiritual community that got my heart. I don't think that's the place you're looking for though. I have this huge hunch that Indonesia is the place. I know you've been there. After I go I'll tell you. Or if I find a place with those features somewhere else, I'll tell you :)
@@teannacorvo Thank you for your insight! I agree, while so beautiful, I’ll never go bk to Mayan Riviera only bc it was too busy for me 20yrs ago. I so agree about the scooter, i think i need to find somewhere more affordable + quiet, away from beach and just ride there each day. Real estate prices in Mexico are expensive anywhere near beach compared to Costa Rica and it’s so much drier, I feel like I would miss the rainforest, which keeps returning me to Costa Rica ✨ I’m from Vancouver Island Canada and it’s a huge west coast rainforest here, so many trees and lots of rain, but colder...I love it....but love the tropical forest too! I agree we should see Bali, Altho popular if you are smart you can live there on a budget. So many beautiful places to be in this world, we are truly lucky! ✨
Excellent video you guys... great chemistry you two share... what is the name of the Airbnb you stayed at in the beginning of the video?
Thanks
Hi there 🙌 thanks! :) Ok, the AirBnb: It is rustic. We were without electricity for a few days. And the bathroom didn’t work properly. BUT the view is amazing! Here is the link 😋 abnb.me/pMbHkdC3igb
@@teannacorvo thanks for the reply... gotcha... the link didnt work for me... It just redirected me to a page with multiple listing.
@@trevr1969 Oh I wonder why. The place it's called: la terraza de ivanna🌴🏄 Maybe that way you can find it? I'm sure there are others AirBnBs in front of the beach as well.
@@teannacorvo that was a big help... gracias. 😎
Gracias por la información de ese bonito paraíso en el pasifico de la costa de Oaxaca México muy buen vídeo
Muchas gracias! De verdad es hermoso, de nuestros lugares favoritos :)
wow this place is awesome
Loved this video!! Do you happen to have the link for the mazunte Airbnb you stayed in? :)
🙌 thanks! :) We loved the view, but it had some problems. So I wouldn’t recommend it. We were without electricity for a few days. And the bathroom didn’t work properly. Here is the link if you still want to check it out 😋 abnb.me/pMbHkdC3igb
@@teannacorvo thank you for your honesty! That's too bad as it is such a beautiful place. Did you find the wifi to be bad in Mazunte? All I keep hearing is how bad it is on the Oaxaca coast :( I work online so it is a necessity unfortunately lol
Thank you!
I’m heading there for the month of March
Your first air B and B
How can I identify that particular one
I’d like to rent it
Hi there how cool. Ok, the AirBnb: It is rustic. We were without electricity for a few days. And the bathroom didn’t work properly. BUT the view is amazing! I am not sure if it's active because I can't find it. It was called: la terraza de ivanna🌴🏄
Good job guys!
Hello omg looks so fun and beautiful !! we were looking to traveling from the US, how was traveling ? Anything they require due to COVID? We are hoping to go within the next month or two , thank you! Any info is so helpful!
Hello Ariale. So far you just need to scan a QR code, to fill a digital form at the airport, that says you don't have COVID :) In many places mask is required. But apart from that not much. In Mazunte, not many people worry about it. We are happy to help!
omg Mazunte is Amazing and I made a video there too I want to go back

Cuidado.
El dueno del bar La Isla que esta en zipolite me navajèo por detras.
Estaba en la playa y por decir que la playa era de todos, lo hizo.
Check out this. Good food .cheap.no big hotels….Iceland is expensive
FOREIGN PEOPLE, if you think 50 pesos is too much, you should best stay in your country. It's rude to be begging native people, especially when your currency is 20 times more.
STAY IN YOUR COUNTRY IF YOU CAN'T PAY!
Thank you for the hate it's exactly what the world needs. Apparently, you choose to focus only on the silliest detail, instead of looking that we are more than happy to be here, showing how beautiful the country is. After being in 20 cities in Mexico, YES we are going to compare Tamales Prices! We are not complaining. But your prejudices are blinding you, man. You can keep your hate to yourself. We will keep going around the world comparing prices as we please. PS: Soy Mexicana, así que sí, me voy a quedar en mi país. Gracias por la recomendación.
@@teannacorvo get real with the current world situation already. Or it will catch up with us even in zipolite.
No chicken legs? Well, So spoiled girl...
hahaha... I was thinking maybe the chicken liver would be better for me ;)
Mazunte a pool? WTF are you talking about? People die there all of the time. At least do some research.
Hello! Yeap the best research we could do, we lived there and swam there. Maybe it has a stronger current during the rest of the year. In March it was pretty smooth.
@@teannacorvo qué bueno porque voy en marzo
