- This is how you Stream on the PS5 using Elgato Capture Cards or a PlayStation5 HD Camera. I know a lot of us were having trouble getting audio when using Capture Cards, so here is a work around due to Sony still not fixing the issue where audio can only be outputted through 1 source and not 2 (i.e HDMI or Headphone or etc.)

Bro, You are a genius using a 2nd controller dummy account, I never thought of that. I started drawing up some next up complex plans on Paint of what wire will connect to what.
Instead, having a 2nd controller simplifies everything SO much. I'm gonna get an old controller of my friend in a few days time to do this.
Quick question though, do you need to add an audio delay/sync to the line in audio to match the Elgato 4k60pro video feed - if so how many ms would you say?

I tried your method, didn’t work for me. But I figured a way that worked for me. I just connect a aux 3.5mm to monitor audio jack and connect other end into Artics pro wireless amp line in. You just have to turn your monitor volume pretty much all the way up. Also have ps5 audio out set to tv/monitor

@@sagemidget7331 yes you can. Test it out yourself you will hear everyone from part chat in stream. Unless they have the setting not to share their voice in broadcast on

could it be your mic or aux cord?
@@AbrarTalks my mic was fine it started when I plugged the aux into my elgato?
I guess one way to check if it has anything to do with the mic is to disconnect it entirely and see if the buzzing is there

When i plug the ps5 in the elgato 4k60pro and then out to the monitor, it makes my game black and white on the screen but its fine on OBS

Whats up guys I'm about to try this method now. Can anyone clarify if you plug the jack into the ps5 remote or the ps4 remote ?
I'm using the 4k60 pro, followed all the steps, got the dummy account, got it plugged into ps5 then 3.5mm jack from controller to line-in port on back of PC and I still get no sound, in fact the computer doesn't even recognize it as being plugged in. Has any encountered this issue or know why it might be happening? The ps5, recognizes and gives me the option for "Headphones connected to controller" but comp doesn't really pick it up.
Will we need a 2 band or 3 band Auxiliary Cord

what about HDDCP ? do u use HDMI 4k 60 hz splitter? if i connect my 4k monitor with elgato 4k 60 pro output with hdmi cable because of HDDCP i can see on my 4k monitor just 1080 p without hdr

See if there is a PS5 or Cold War setting to allow chat to be recorded. Because unless its party chat, game chat should be picked up. For party chat, you need to have the main account added on the dummy account then join the party chat with the dummy account

that typically happens if you have an attachment on your controller (like the ps4 back paddle attachment) and youre connecting the aux cable through that attachment OR it can be due to your aux cable itself. See if getting a good new cable for amazon helps

Hey my man, so i have a gaming pc i just built with a gigabyte 3060 ti graphics card. It has two hdmi ports in it. Is there i way i can connect my Ps5 to there to get better quality on my stream when i stream on OBS?
Unfortunately I dont think so. The HDMI ports in the back of your 3060ti are outports, in other words, its only to feed signal out

I havent looked into that because at the time of making the vid, i didnt have those alerts on

hmm, in the settings of streamlabs, there is an audio delay configurator. You may have to mess with that
I have the elgato 4k60 pro, did every step and the only issues I have was the in game chat audio. For some reason I couldn’t talk in game chat, I am using a usb headset that is plug in to my pc, but I couldn’t talk in game on my ps4.

Hey Abrar, im not looking to invest much into the pc Side of things. I am wanting to get the pc just to complete the setup you have in the diagram. I’m even ok with buying the pc in the actual diagram. Dell maybe?

it can be a laptop even. But this is a broad question because almost any new pc will work just for streaming, doesnt have to be anything powerful. If you go to best buy or any tech store, just tell them your use case and they’ll point you to a cheap pc that’ll be just enough to stream your gameplays
I never understood why you would use these cards cause of your 3rd method. But the only real reason is cause of your obs and customization for your stream on twitch.
Hey man. I have a HD60 pro. I have a hyper x mic and a ps5. I have all el gato hooked up properly but I can either get audio or i can get the el gato to work. I cant get both to work. Are you supposed to use two controllers? (Ps5 controller and ps4 with usb to PC) Please let me know.
yes, it’s 2 controllers and they’re both supposed to be connected to the ps5. Watch the video once more, I explain the setup
When I use the dummy controller, in setting I try to put NONE but is not showing, any idea on how to fix it?
If you followed the video in the exact order, the ‘none’ should show up automatically. Try redoing it all step by step 😃
To confirm a few things:
I'm using the HD60S:
1. Will this allow the chat from my friends be heard on stream if I'm playing a cross platform game like Warzone?
2. Can the dummy account just be any second account on the playstation?
3. Can the primary controller be DualShock4 while the dummy account be the DualSense?
I seem to remember Playstation allow audio through headphones and tv on PS4? But now dont allow it?

In my dummy account I don’t get the “none” option for input device , I only get “controller headet” and “usb headset”
i believe you have to do it in the same order as I have done it in the video. That should definitely get you the same results

I am not getting the “none” option in the sound settings for input. All I see it my Arctis and controller headset. What am I missing. I followed step by step.
Make sure to turn on the controllers and plug in whatever headset in the order Ive done it

When I plug a aux cord into the ps4 controller and line IN it stops recording the game audio on streamlabs. Didn;t work at all for me. Using the 4k60 Pro, streamlabs, and a ps5.
Hmm, so the order of the steps I spoke about in the video are important. That being said, make sure the audio is switched to analog within elgatos software. Let me know if this helps

I recently got rid of my 4k60 pro, but I just checked Elgato’s site and it says “Both Game Capture HD and 4K Capture Utility software support analog audio capture from specific capture devices. The analog audio level can be changed in the software settings. “

Well I tried it with a elgato chat link. I hear game sound but also a weird noise above that game sound. Seems like there is a jammer or something. But didn't tried it with a normal aux tho

That actually happened to me as well when I was using my PS4 controller with the Back button attachment. So make sure you have no attachments on the PS4 controller this way you get a clean signal. If that doesnt work, it may be the controller..try another controller. You’re using a hd60s?

4k 60fps doesn’t work for me, I’d get a green screen or messed up looking screen until I switch back to 1080P 60

hmm I havent tried outputting in 4k because 1080p is perfect for streaming. However, elgato customer service is really responsive, so give them a call and see if its possible. They’re also really detailed and sit on the phone with you till you figure your problem out

but id say to go for a webcam for the pc if youre going to stream with the macbook. The ps5 camera apparently doesnt work on the macbook

I think your method only works with hd 60s capture card not for 4k60 pro capture card users
I’ve done this on the 4k60, there actually shouldn’t be any difference between the 2. Both softwares have same functionality as well

@@the90sman All you do is plug the 3.5mm Audi cord into your monitor headphone jack then connect the other end to your Artics wireless mix amp. Then put the mix amp source to aux. on ps5 put output audio to tv monitor. Now you should be able to get audio from game capture. This is how I did it while streaming off ps5 to pc. It’s really simple method

When the account the secondary controller is signed into is joined into the same match as my main account I am able to hear chat audio in my stream, but only then.

I wish. Unless you’re using the native PS5 Streaming software, you’ll definitely need a capture card
