" Cloak and Dagger " is a pretty good bonus track on " Headless Cross " I.M.O.
I also played " Forbidden " today , the guitars sound huge. I had to stream it however, because the amp on my
stereo blew out. From Too much Black Sabbath I guess.

Yeah, I haven't had a chance to go listen to those 3 bonus tracks yet... I am slowly getting into the 4 albums first (which I realize I really didn't know except for the videos)... Ya, we didn't realize when we were doing the episode the slight differences between the CD and VINYL editions... so bonus for that eh? :) Thanks for watching my friend!
If I recall Cloak and Dagger was put on the Eternal Idol remaster set so it had been out before
Forbidden is an awesome album probably the best out of the four IRS records

It's good to see Tony Martin getting some love. I don't think he really get his due most of the time! When I lived in New Orleans, my best friend and I used to go to this hole-in-the-wall bar to drink & play darts. When they switched to a CD Jukbox, oddly enough (since it's not mainstream) the guy who filled the box put Cross Purposes in it. My firend & I thought that was so cool! We ALWAY played that, among others, whenever we palyed darts. We each bought that CD several times over with what we dumped into the jukebox, but I think we are also the reason they kept it in there, even when it came time to cull the unpopular CDs.
Yes, FINALLY getting some love! This has been a long time coming! I did not get into the Cross Purposes because I was still bitter about the whole Dio mess with Sabbath on the previous album... :) So now that I am older, i will appreciate these lost gems...
Well at that same bar that had Cross Purposes on the CD jukebox, in the period shortly prior, when they still have a regular jukebox with singles in it, they also had a CD plyer connected, so the bartender could listen to what he wanted if nobody was in the place. My friend and I noticed that among the 8 or so CDs he had, one of them was Dio - Lock Up The Wolves. A couple times with heavy pleading from us, he played that when there weren't many people in the bar. (After all, they preferred to make money off their jukebox!)

@@offthecharts2272 cross purposes and forbidden are actually my favorite to albums of the Tony Martin era but I wish they would have done a remix of headless cross is sounding a bit dated
@@mikekeeler6362 I thought all 4 sounded great... mind you, wanting this release for so long, I didnt try to find the other albums original releases... so I cant compare...
I think cross-purposes live will eventually come out eventually on CD and vinyl
I prolly won't get it (I dont collect live albums anymore)... but we shall see once and if it's ever released on vinyl! :) Thanks for watching and commenting!
I think the reason why cross purposes live wasn't included was its own by Emi records
So, the same reason as The Eternal Idol, then....
