It's not just Walmart. Regional chains have been doing it ages before Walmart became big. Although adding to what you said, Milk (or something else of high value like soda) are usually in the back. the stores are designed to make it as easy as possible to make the shopper do a full circuit around the store before leaving. maximizing how much money per customer per visit they make.
This reminds me of the movie Dumb and Dumber... "Only the essentials Lloyd!" And he comes out with pin wheels, beer, beef jerky and a ten gallon hat. Haha This is a great video.
It was delightful seeing the happiness on your faces as you found surprise after surprise. My wife has worked at Walmart for years and I guess I just take the store for granted. Nice video. Beautiful ladies.
We've had four exchange students from Europe and Australia...they're always amazed at Walmart, grocery stores and fast food places. Sizes are much bigger here which is why we're all struggling with weight issues LOL
You are all so cute and excited. This is a highly entertaining video! This is my favorite "Foreigners visiting Walmart for the first time" video I've seen.
You didn't visit the gun department. A lot of the tourist videos visit Wal Mart and are freaked out by the gun department. They act as if they've never seen guns.
MooseT Im sure theyre jealous of the weekly school/church/hospital/workplace shootings. Cant even go to a festival anymore without concern. America is so acclimated to it now. Day after a shooting its "our thoughts and prayers" the next day its a politician saying "Its Americans right to carry a gun" then the cycle starts over the next week. Last week was the NM school shooting and literally it was only news for a day. Literally a day now no one even remembers.
Used to be able to buy a rifle at the local hardware store, in fact right around the time that Wal-Mart came about. So, being a 'one stop shopping' location, Wal-Mart is likely a holdover from those days.
You buy the 48 poptarts for day care/ after-school programs/ large families.... like the one in the UK with 21+ kids. Or if you only shop once or twice a month.
I have seen more than a few videos from visitors of other countries saying things along the lines of fat or stupid Americans... and they are in America when they say it! The ladies here are fine though.

Your like three children with out restraint, soo funny. Santitos is the closest you find Authentic Mexican Tortilla Chips in a grocery store!! You and your friends are so adorable!
I have seen now several of these First time Walmart trips from both our Aussie and British friends I find them quite entertaining . They seem to be like children in a candy store. Excitement wise. If there are any potential tourist reading my comment I have noticed on a few of them that the Walmart pizza seems to attract them. Please don't buy them you'll be disappointed they are not very good. They will fill you up if your hungry but they really are not a very good quality. Those little pies these ladies found are quite good though. And don't forget to add about 10% for taxes the prices marked on the shelf does not include tax unless your in Florida. In Florida food is tax exempt but the prices seem to be a bit higher not much though
If I recall correctly Walmart has tried to open stores outside the US but they were not successful. Tesco opened a supermarket chain in the Western US (Fresh & Easy), which I generally liked, but it too was a failure.
By the way I like Jen's style with the Arizona shawl. Maybe I just like Jen ;) Thanks for uploading these videos. It makes me happy to see brand new wonderment and discovery in others. All 3 of you are amazing people
As an american AND a Walmart associate/employee this type of video remindes me of how lucky I am to be an american and work for a really good company like Walmart. I work in one of the distribution centers. The pay is really good and with good insurance and other benefits. It amazes me to see people blown away because we have gallon jugs of milk. Unreal.
Lol, this is hilarious. Love the excitement and enthusiasm. Remember ladies, we are a multicultural country. And there is a difference between buying healthy or junk foods. Also buying what u need in either small portions or bulk.
What kind of "racist" comment could you make about an English accent? To notice that something is different isn't racist. I'm from the south. I've heard people say southern accents make people sound stupid. That's insulting, but it's not racist.
I love that your cart's half full within about 10 feet of the entrance! ;) Personally, I avoid Walmart whenever possible, but it’s a joy to see how much you’re enjoying the visit. Welcome to America!
You all crack me up with your enthusiasm for WalMart. I go there all the time. I guess I need to see it with new eyes to appreciate all it has to offer.

For everyone not for the USA, Walmart is not a supermarket lol. We have separate supermarkets (some of us call them grocery stores). Walmart is technically a department store.
kellya71 I'm not sure how many, if any, dept store only Wal Marts there are. Starting in the 1980s, they began transitioning to Super Centers, which have separate areas for grocery and dept store items. Neighborhood Markets are a more recent phenomenon, they sell groceries only. Some smaller towns will also have a Wal Mart Express, sort of a mini Wal Mart. Then of course there are Sam's Clubs for buying in bulk.
We've got a regular Walmart and also a Walmart supermarket in the town near me. It's just a small-ish town of 15k people. Walmart actually started just one or two towns over from where I'm from.
I used to feel excited about some of those foods by the sight of them but then started getting them from other actual grocery stores. Fresh items like fruit, meat, and from the deli I almost never get from Walmart anymore. I go there for the general packaged foods.
Personally, I'd rather see girls in high heels at Walmart as opposed to the regular attire of either unwashed pajamas or seriously undersized spandex, especially if those in question weigh in at 275 lbs or so.
Vegan? You might as well flush your HEALTH down the toilet. Veganism is responsible for so many unhealthy people in the world who die early because they are not getting much needed nutrients. Stop being Vegan in order to save your own health and life.

Also, some people become vegan or vegetarian due to health reasons, not because they necessarily want to.
Abigail, Amelia you both left Uncle Waldo in the back of the store. Wal-Mart had him marinating in Red Whine, but being British I think he would have preferred a Sherry.
This is really funny, but you shouldn't buy the cheapest items when you are at Walmart. A lot of the really cheap stuff in not very good. Stick to name brands.
Troy It depends, some of the Great Value/Equate stuff is just fine, some of it falls short. You just have to know when you're better off with a name brand.
Troy here in New Jersey where Walmart is everywhere we live to be 84 years old on average that is longer than almost everywhere on Earth your body is stronger than you think don't be a pussy in France they eat everything natural and here in New Jersey where we have fast food and everything we still live longer then the Frenchies again don't be a pussy
I enjoyed this video! I'm from Virginia but currently live in the Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've traveled all over North America. I don't think that I have ever seen anyone as excited about Walmart as the three young ladies in this video. Interestingly, I married a wonderful woman from Mexico. We met while studying at university. I'm glad that I met her. However, if I hadn't met her and fallen in love with her, I think that it would have been an adventure to meet and fall in love with an Englishwoman. They have such fantastic personalities!
I've watched a couple videos now with girls visiting for the first time from Britain or Australia or other places in Europe and all of them, first thing, say how cheap everything here is. Just goes to show you how more socialist systems of government drive up prices.
I have to admit, though it was just shopping, I really enjoyed watching you enjoy your 1st Walmart experience, like kids in a candy store. Made me laugh. Kudos to you three for taking a mundane shopping experience and having so much fun with it. Now try Cosco...you will be blown away at the sheer volume!
What walmart doesn't sell gets piled together with discards from the other markets. All of that bread, donuts, cereals, sweets, and a little bit of nutritional goods is doled out to the poor at food banks. Remember that when you see the poor fat person struggling to walk.
A vast majority of the 40% of food that gets tossed is because of the appearance. Because there is no government subsidies to transport the unattractive food to food banks and schools it goes into landfills. Nowadays laws don't get passed without a kickback. Who's around to pay for this one?
How is there like nobody in that Walmart? Usually they are packed full of people. Red Roasted pepper is my wife's choice. You gotta eat proper fried chicken... the package you picked up was the leftovers from the previous day at a discounted price. You ladies are hilarious going crazy in the Walmart... Thanks for visiting my home state of arizona. You need to travel to my home town of Flagstaff which is a few hours drive from Phoenix; it's in the mountains and there are trees, mountains, and snow!
Good thing they didn't go into a Costco or Sams...and see all that stuff in bulk. They would have died lol

I'm so glad I found your channel. You girls are so enthusiastic about everything you do, it's fun to watch. Thanks.
I love how classy these 3 ladies dress. Wish more American women would dress this way , even if it is just shopping at WalMart.
They have such fantastic personalities!
whythe heck are these women calling chips crisps, have they gone mad, oh the humanity!!!!!
You should be watching your purses in the basket. This is my first time watching one of your videos. Where is the camera? Is it a drone?
I've watched a couple videos now with girls visiting for the first time from Britain or Australia or other places in Europe and all of them, first thing, say how cheap everything here is. Just goes to show you how more socialist systems of government drive up prices.
Yeah capitalism!!
Obama and Democrats Hate Walmart because Walmart has done more for limited income people than Democrats ever have.....
What do you mean?
Harry Kuheim Believe me Harry we Democrats love Walmart.
I've never been to the States but I've been to England and their supermarkets have some pretty reasonable prices as well.
love watching reactions
I used to go to Wal-Mart when I was bored how bored am I now?
