If you do a road trip through Southwest and/or Rocky Mountain States, and/or the PNW states, you will for sure not be disappointed! It is the crem de le crem of outdoors in the US in my opinion. Alaska/ Hawaii is always an outstanding outdoors destination too but maybe harder to get to.

Yes. I've met quite a few foreigners when I've been to Yosemite over the years. I always make sure I help them if they're confused about getting somewhere. I feel like it's an obligation so that no foreign visitor can tell their friends back in their home country that Americans aren't friendly or helpful.

I've watched a number of videos of people visiting the US for the first time but yours was done in a way that had me choked up the entire time. I live in the US but haven't visited a lot of places in a touristy manner. I've been to Philadelphia many times and NYC quite a few but haven't done a lot of sight seeing and now I'm seeing how much I've missed. You made me see my own country through new eyes and I really really appreciate that. I hope to see videos of you going many more places so that I can live vicariously through you. I'm shocked your video doesn't have 100x the likes and comments, it's so well done. Great work.

Ive never been to New York City, but one city that my husband and I really love is Washington D.C. We’ve visited Washington 8 times. Tourists never run out of places to see. With the museums, monuments, restaurants and shopping, you could go multiple times and never run out of wonderful sights. The city is its most beautiful at night. There are no skyscrapers in D.C. by design. The capitol buildings are mostly white marble and practically glow from sunset to dawn.
Usually the first place we head to after checking into our hotel is the home of Marjorie Merryweather Post. Her breathtaking home Hillwood, is a short cab ride. We have lunch in the cafe, then take the tour. This was her home residence, but would winter in her Florida estate Mar a Lago. We never run out of beautiful restaurants to dine in since it seems there is always a high turnover of openings and closings. One of our favorites which is no longer there was Mrs. Simpsons. The entire dining room was decorated with memorabilia of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. One of our favorite places to unwind after a long day of sight seeing is the wonderful Round Robin Bar in the famous Willard Hotel. We visited there so many times that the bartender always remembered us and automatically made our favorite drinks without asking as we seated ourselves in our favorite window.
Over the past several years I’ve had cancer a few times and I don’t think we’ll be making it back to Washington anytime soon. Watching videos of it here always brings back wonderful memories.

It's always nice to see some folks visiting and enjoying their time here in the grand ol' US of A! ☺
If you ever come back and want to see more nature, I would recommend visiting the Appalachian Mountain Range.
If you want to visit a more tourist-y area within the mountain range, then I would recommend the Great Smokey Mountains National Park - there are hiking trails and plenty of sightseeing there.
But if you want to see a less visited area within the mountain range, then I would recommend visiting the state of West Virginia - you can visit the New River Gorge National Park, and there are a lot of other state parks there too!

Amazing video. I'm 42 live about an hour and a half from NYC but have only been there a handful of times. I've been to Washington DC one time. I have to say you two saw and did more than I ever have. Seeing you two appreciate the sights and sounds and tastes of America was great. Not to sound lame but your video brought a tear to my eye how much some Americans take for granted. People risk their lives to come here yet some people that live here hate it. Sad state of affairs. But anyway, great video! ❤🇺🇸

Thanks for checking out the North East. I feel like it doesn’t get as much love in US travel videos these days(outside NYC, NYC tourism is eternal). It gets a bad reputation from other Americans but it has so much history to see and has a bunch to see in a small geographic area which is rare for the US and North America on the whole.

I have to get back down to the Reading terminal market . I'm in the northeastern suburbs of Philly in I often tell my son there are a lot of great places to see but you're lucky to be within an hour and a half of nyc, philly, the beach, the mountains, the countryside like Lancaster county etc

Glad you two enjoyed your trip to the US. We live in the Midwestern state of Indiana. We were in NYC just a week after you were, also visited the 9-11 memorial and museum. It was a very moving experience to say the least.
We're not as well traveled as you guys, but next year we're heading to visit your side of the pond and spend a week in London. We hope to enjoy it as much as you enjoyed coming here.

I’m so happy y’all got to visit!!! I hope everyone was friendly…The Whitehouse is the President’s private residence. It’s designed purposefully as reminder that we don’t have a monarch but a person elected by the people to work for the people. The Capitol Building is where all legislative matters are tended to. They are also separated on purpose to represent the USA 3 branches of independent government for checks and balances.

Very pleasant video guys. I liked your fun spirit and respect for a part of the world that’s only 250+ yrs old. Realizing who graced the streets both celebrity and poor. America founded by God, greed, and war, not unlike most places in the world, but put on the map, through film, captured many dream seekers, and ambitious hustlers. A kin to the popular streets of London, we take for granted the magnificence of Rome and Egypt that have long past its prime. Your video has brought out the writer in me, I thank you for sharing your dream and adventure with us. God speed, and God help and continue to bless America.
