I think y’all underestimate just HOW MUCH the gardening industry has changed and grown because of you! I have easily spent 10-15x more per year than before I discovered your channel. I mostly lean towards native to my area (huge variety here in NC), but even so, the amount of Espoma products, augers, Colorblends, Felcos, I’ve purchased is incredible. These companies should always keep partnerships with you because I guarantee their profits have gone WAY up because of you. In fact, thousands of miles away from where you garden, I regularly geek out with one of the garden nursery employees about your content! I’m always improving my garden because of your regular inspiration!
Agree! Whenever I go plant shopping, and I find plants that Laura has talked about, I find myself picking it up. She has been a HUGE influence on me.. 😃
Yes. This channel has taught me everything I currently know about gardening. Been learning for the last three years and Laura has taught me everything.
I agree. I am in Georgia an have more than tripled what I use to spend on gardening. Mostly I look for what I see on Garden Answer. My preferred plants are now PW. I use Espoma, I search for David Austin roses. An it just goes on. I to start up conversations with others at garden centers, yes Georgia knows who Laura is. She inspires so many across the world actually to grow plants. ❤
I purchase Espoma, Proven Winners, Felco, and on and on because of you. I am a gardener because of your videos - something I swore I hated to do previously. And I know I am one of many. Plus I have told others about your channel and now we talk gardening and go to garden centers because of you. The world is a more beautiful place because of you and the community you have created. I know we are all eternally grateful ❤🌸🌲
Same. I thought gardening was not fun all my life. Once I became disabled I found GA (back in 2016) and then became a gardener lol I waited until it was physically very hard but I was suddenly very passionate about it so it was worth the extra efforts.
I was talking to my husband about my morning routine watching Garden Answer-he said, “Is that the one that cost me a lot of money?” 😆 You definitely influence-in a really good way!
I agree with Aaron. After watching your videos my yard has exploded with flower beds, trees and bushes. I'm 72yr and now working at two local funeral homes planting flowers for them. I don't do it for the money but for the planting and designing theirs. Love it and you guys.
Aaron your 💯% correct in saying the gardeners new and avid followers, are influenced by what products you and Laura use. I’ve been watching your channel from the get go and totally flipped to all things Aaron and Laura and I can see my local nurseries and big box stores are supplying more of the products you both use. I always recommend your channel when conversing gardens with anyone. Love you and your families 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️🍸🍸🍸
In Michigan at least one garden center has called it the “Laura Effect “. Whatever plants you use that week, they see an increase in sales. I know that I prioritize Proven Winners and Espoma products because of watching all of your wonderful videos
I agree - Laura is inspiring so many gardeners. My husband and I started watching you about 5 years ago and you have helped us so much! We also make lists of plants that you recommend and hunt for them at the garden centre. In a world filled with so much negativity and tension - we just love watching your videos and then getting into the garden.
I agree and the look on Laura's face as he is explaining when he first brought it up to her, she was only 20% listening, she is only 10% listening to his explanation here! haha
ROFLMTO at Aaron’s and Laura’s expressions when he’s talking about ANOTHER bobcat! His grin and eyes are soooo little boy excited and hers are soooo “here we go again”! I bet it’s going to happen because it does make sense and Laura will enjoy driving it too! 🤣😂👍💕
I also never gardened before I started to watching you. I started by planting containers and window boxes like you. Now I voluntarily take care of the gardens at our church and school. I help other parishioners with their gardens. Its become my ministry and all thanks to you whom I credit fully. Thank you, you've given me a new purpose in life since retirement. BTW I just bought a greenhouse 🥰
Aaron is correct about Laura creating a gardener. I have written down plants, tools, and products to go to my local nurseries. I absolutely love that you have inspired me to try new beautiful things. Thank you for all you do.
FYI, I am a member via RUclips. It costs $4.99 a month and I consider it the best money I spend every month (less than one cup of coffee). I like knowing that in a little way I am helping you continue your wonderful videos.
Ohio here. I have purchased a Hoselink, Felcos, Bonide products, Espoma products, augers, and tons of specific plants along with most anything in a “white pot.” Your influence has impacted us all.
I was looking for Bio-Tone in a Vermont garden shop. The cashier said "You must be a GA fan". We then had a nice chat of our love for Laura, Aaron, and family/crew.
I live in Northern California. While back I asked for a particular plant that was in Laura’s garden, the lady at the nursery said “Let me guess, Garden Answer”. So I think your impact of plants and products is far and wide!
Agree with Aaron - I’m a gardener because if you Laura. I always felt plants were so delicate and they scared me. Seeing and listening to Laura care for plants makes me more confident!!! The gentle pot kick and the gentle toss of seedlings is classic!
Laura: After watching the videos, I read some of the comments to see what people are saying about the topics. YES, you inspire gardeners much more than you can ever imagine. The way you talk about plants and EVERYTHING about gardening is so way above anything else on the internet. Just the way you plant those four inch and above pots is awesome. You even have Benjamin copying the way you do it! GOD has given you (and us,because you use it so well) an AMAZING GIFT. I'm 86 years old now so I can't get out there in the garden to do the hard things. But I can plant the seeds under the grow lights and heat mats and transplant them into bigger pots. Our daughter now lives with us and does the planting and other hard stuff. But if I were 50 years old again, I'd use all the knowledge I've learned in the past 10 years. Boy, would I be an awesome gardener. And I'd use Espoma and Proven Winners products. Enough of that. You and Aaron are such great parents, the way you are raising your children. We live in North Central Idaho, so we have most of our weather a day or so after you. Please keep doing your videos because you have no idea how much all of us depend on them. Thank you so very much.
It took me 2 days to watch the tour because I would get distracted looking up and buying plants online that you mention. Your influence is far beyond your understanding! Thank you for your insoiration.
Yes, Laura does create a lot of gardeners. My life has been changed by the knowledge she has gifted me. Thankfully, the greenhouse I shop at watches your videos as well. They carry Proven Winners. I lean much on perennials. Thank you for all you share! "One person can make a difference."
You absolutely give people the knowledge and courage to try gardening. Your effect on the world is much bigger than you know. Thank you for all that you share!
I for one, love, LOVE, LOVE it when Laura repurposes or spruces up something old!!! She's the best of both worlds: She uses the old, or gets the new when she needs it. I admire your resourcefulness!!!
Our local "garden center" is actually the hardware store that carries annuals and shrubs for 2-1/2 months in the spring. I went in with my Laura List of Proven Winner plants, and they said "we don't carry those expensive PW annuals". I told them just order 4 flats of Supertunia Bubblegums and if you have any left in two weeks, I would personally buy them back. Guess how many they sold???? All those diehard GA lovers gobbled them up so fast!
ARTICHOKE PREP: Key is to Microwave the choke in a large enough bowl (I use my 4C measuring cup) with 1/2 c water cover with a paper towel and microwave for 5-10 minutes, until the choke is soft. Let cool, and prep your favorite way. I like to cut in half, remove the center part, drizzle in olive oil and grill. Yum
Hi~ I've never cooked them in the microwave, but that sounds smart. 👍 I learned from my Italian family to steam them stuffed with a well seasoned breadcrumb mixture then drizzled with olive oil stove top. I think an Instapot or crockpot could be used as well. Thanks for sharing your method. Happy Gardening!🙋
I’ve never really microwaved my artichokes, but now that I have an Insta pot I love it and I make an aïoli sauce with mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, flakes, and black pepper, so I’m not dipping too much it as a booster flavor. I love artichokes!
My mom used to steam them and serve them whole with a small ramekin of melted butter. We scraped the "meat" off between our teeth and as you get closer to the center, they got more and more tender. At the end, you're left with the heart. The best part. The spines at the tips of the leaves were kind of pokey, but we learned how to peel the leaves off carefully. So fun to eat as a kid. Now, I'm to lazy for the cook time and usually just buy the frozen hearts and microwave them with Miokos vegan butter. So good!
Beautiful recap! Laura, you are an influencer, a teacher, and a peaceful space for so many of us. At nearly 78 I hope to be just like you when I grow up. You both make the channel very special. Have a great week!💕🤗💕
Ah my fav. Me time ! Sunday recap! Laura- i trim Artichokes top and bottom, pull thin bottom leaves off and steam them until the center stem end is easily pierced. Dip leaves in melted butter. Worse part is cleaning the heart but worth it! My late dad would be tooting along on the grocery ECV, and yell” lets get some hand grenades! ( Ww2 vet) . Gosh he loved them.
I ❤ fresh Artichokes! I've never gone to the trouble of trimming each leaf! I steam them for 45 mns (larger ones) until one of the bottom leaves pulls out easy. Here in France, I make an Olive oil vinaigrette that I pour over and then on the cleaned heart. I grew up using butter (as most Americans), but hubs' Italian Mom did vinaigrette. I tried it and prefer it now.
Sprinkle salt, pepper and olive oil in your artichokes and then wrap them in foil and in the oven or barbecue for 30 minutes! Let them cool a bit and eat the soft endings and discard the hard part! It´s the most delicious snack ever!
Hello from Virginia! I think I’ve only commented once or twice before in the four years that I’ve watched you (and I watch you every day that you post!), but I think I have to jump in today. I am completely obsessed with gardening, and YOU have been a huge reason for it. I’m so thankful for you! I walk around my garden, and I see all of my “Laura”-inspired plants: dwarf blue spruces, Twombley’s Red Sentinel, Katsura Japanese Maple, 15 David Austin roses, Brunnera, Fama Blue Scabiosa, boxwoods (not a fan of the Sprinters), Campanula, apricot-colored flowers, and 100s more. I also now grow about 500 plants from seed every year after watching you. I have actually gardened beyond my yard and into the neighborhood common areas by quite a bit (shh, don’t tell!). I’ve installed gardens for my friends, family, and neighbors after watching you. I’ve also started driving across states just to tour botanical gardens and gather new ideas on weekends. And I’m just an office worker stuck indoors most of the time! Please don’t ever stop your videos! Your passion is contagious.
Garden Answer does have a successful influence among their current 1.9M+ subscribers on RUclips in addition to other platforms and sponsorships related to gardening. I too am happy for the many blessings received, whether directly given to Garden Answer or to myself and others through them. That being said, the latter portion of your statement ... " We all want to be like you!!! " ... is not only excessive, but false. Turn away from all idolatry. Jesus Christ is the only one we should all strive to be more like. " Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. " ~ EPHESIANS 5:1 To Him be all praise, honor and glory given. Peace.
I love the hydrangeas around the fountain / planter in the patio circle. They look so delicate and beautiful there. I don't feel it takes away from the formality.
Laura and Aaron, Not only do you influence all of the US gardeners you also influence Canada’s gardeners! I have a Laura list too. I have noticed in the last few years our nurseries have been carrying move Proven winners plants than ever before. Unfortunately I’m not seeing any Espoma products. Can’t tell you how much I love your beautiful family and friends. You make my day 💕💐🇨🇦🇨🇦
I've been watching you since you have been in the house. At first the channel was just entertainment and a relaxing thing to watch as I had coffee. Then I started remembering names of plants while I was out and about. I'd see a flower in a garden and know the name of it. I discovered caladiums, hellebores and coral bells. First were pots of flowers with thrillers, spillers and fillers. People complimented me on the look of my planters. Then I got a garden developed with veggies, herbs and flowers. Family now come to me asking my advice about what to plant where and to help them with their drip irrigation. :) You have taught me (quite literally) everything I know about plants. I can't thank you enough for opening me up to this wonderful world of gardening.
Oh Laura, I’m so sorry about Bev! It’s so sad when we loose a pet. It breaks our hearts to see them go! You gave that lil chicken a wonderful, loving , and fancy life ! She was a lucky girl and I’m sure she loved you for it!!! ❤
Aaron is not alone, I agree that the artichokes don't look near classy enough to be in the Hartley beds. Also, since, I'm commenting, put lots more pots of plants in your pond. I have aquariums and growing plants above the water with their roots in the water has made a huge difference with keeping the algae at bay. The faster growing the plant, the more of the excess nutrients they use and will correct the problem more quickly.
I would agree with Aaron that because of this channel, you make us viewers more confident! My mom cannot get over my sheer love and excitement for gardening, my knowledge of flower names, my comfort in trying new varieties and combinations. And of course I've purchased Felcos, the Fiscars kangaroo bin, and many other tools you've recommended. Garden Answer's reach and impact is incredible!
I've been introduced to sooooo many more plants because of your videos and yes... I have my wish list of some things you already have in your gardens! ❤❤❤
Totally! I had never heard of a hellebore.. have one now and it beautiful. So many ideas for planting containers and combinations, not to be hesitant to move plants and so much more💞
You guys are a true inspiration. I learned everything from you and now my yard is commented on all around our small town (just don’t ask how much I spend!). Because of this channel I was able to teach my widowed mother how to create and evolve her flower gardens which has been so healing for her. Her late husband asked her what she would do after he passes away, and she told him she would work on her garden. She was so overwhelmed by it the first few years and wanting to give up, but I was able to inspire her through your inspirations. This year, I gifted her with drip irrigation. Her garden is thriving now!
⛲Gorgeous addition to that spot!! From the fountain repurpose to the choice of plants. I think too that Laura could make a masterpiece out of an old boot!!❤🩹
Seen a picture of Samantha Grace shooting baskets, now I can not find it. It was the cutest picture of her and I wanted to tell her she was a fashion icon with her outfit that day.
Aaron: Re: Copper levels- With my pond I pull the probe out weekly and use a small wire brush to clean the algae off. Once the algae builds up the copper does not ionize well. The algae acts as a barrier. You have to be careful screwing the lid back on and ensure the hole is lined up exactly over the top of the probe. If you don’t, the plastic lid will get damaged and it will leak (I know this from experience). Also, I use the LaMotte test kit as I’ve found it more accurate than the Aquascape kit. And, finally, yes, more plants!!! If you have plants that take up the nutrients, the string algae will starve. I have also used PhosGuard when my string algae was as bad as yours. I hope you can get it under control before you install your Dream Stream! Really enjoy your videos!
Aaron is totally correct. You do create new gardeners. During covid I worked from home and got hooked on your channel. I have watched ever since. Your tour was long but I could watch an hour video each day. That is how hooked I am.
My mum has a garden centre in North Yorkshire and whenever gardeners world has been on, on a Friday night with Monty Don, she notices that people will then come in the following days asking for certain things that where featured in the programme. She tries to watch each week now so she has a heads up of what they will be asking for
I’m with Aaron in the team against artichoke! We were probably less than they other people in the comments! Artichokes look like huge spiky weeds that grow in the wild… I am a subscriber and I get the notification every day at around 14:00!!! The best thing to watch while I’m eating and get inspired sometimes for later when I’m gardening during the afternoon!
12:13 Aaron is SO RIGHT! I have so much confidence now, it feels like 👍🏼 be been able to learn from a close family member instead of you tube. Laura is east to learn from because she engages with everyone while showing us what’s she’s doing. It’s a whole vibe, much better than telling us what to do for “classes” or “episodes.” For me anyway, I learn by hanging out with people doing something but struggle to learn when someone is actually trying to teach me something 😅
I felt confortable enough to garden, because of you. Not just garden, but prune things back, and prune trees and such. You guys live in a different enviroment than us, during the summer, but not in the winter. The only difference, is moisture, which we have a little bit more of, than you guys. But, anyways! I started with flowers, and this year, I am growing vegetables from seeds, and I would never have felt confident enough, if it weren't for you guys. So thank you for inspiring us, and making us want to dip our toes in, and feeling confident and patient enough to fail, and try again, aswell! ☀️
Laura, you have made me look into and try lots of new plants I had never grown before. And thanks to you, I pay way more attention to trees and shrubs than ever before. Not just flowers anymore for me! Thank you!
Your honest takes are positive. I totally get you dont want to be negative but you are not. Your and Aaron's honesty makes you relatable. We want to know which chores are a beast and appreciate you telling the truth. Thanks for inspiring me to find this hobby and become a do-er in the garden instead of getting discouraged. It brings me alot of peace and joy. 👍
Oh my. Aaron sounds like my husband with the tractor talk. We only have 5 acres yet we have a JD4020, 2 swathers and lots of attachements. 😂😂😂 Always reasoning to get more. I say yes 100% though!
100% take gardening more seriously after learning so so so much from you Laura. I watch every single video you post and refer to past videos that you have posted for my current problems/information that is relevant to my gardening needs. I appreciate all that you teach me!
I loved the contrast between the "whimsical" hydrangeas and the formal fountain base! I thought it tied in beautifully with the gaura plants in the top.
Since you asked our opinion, I’ll give my vote for keeping the fairytrail bride hydrangeas right where they are. Those were my favorite thing of that entire fountain project and I think they are absolutely gorgeous there!
Have you considered planting some of your endless Dahlias in the decorative borders and just leaving them to see what happens, a few big swathes of them would look great away from the cutting garden.
You are 100% right! I have never had a green thumb and have now expanded every single garden and flower bed I have because your videos. I have found joy where it used to be a chore and for that I thank you.
I have to comment. Because of your inspiration I garden I grow. Although you do it so well I felt intimidated. But then I watched "you can't eat the grass" And I realized I can garden. It's just two different personalities in I enjoy both. Sometimes I think about if I started watching now I probably couldn't relate. Because you have such big equipment endless supplies. I went from.. horrible garden space. To the envy of my neighborhood. I do have a small area to garden in but it's magnificent. And it brings me so much joy. Thank you so much... To you and Serena. I'm the Stacey that mentioned about Douglas's possible spring. And thank you for using bridgeton's music on your real last week. I just spent the last week watching all three seasons.
Laura, Aaron is right as far as people want to garden after watching you! I watch both Garden Answer and Gardening with Creekside and I can't begin to tell you how inspired I am after watching your channels. Thank you! You make me want to get out their and get to it!
To anyone struggling with HOLLYHOCK leaf damage, look up HOLLYHOCK ROOT WEEVILS as they turn into a night-feeding beetle that eats on the plants at night, similar to Lilac Root Weevils! They are hard to identify because they come out at night so one way is to place a white sheet around the base of the plant after dark and then shake it lightly and they fall right off. I found quite a bit of info once I knew the pest name. Hope this helps anyone else struggling to identify pest that could be causing damage! Thanks for the great videos 😃
I was just at Far West Nursery last week and told them I wanted the specific light pink geranium you grew. I got it! Youve made me like geranuims. I had never been a fan before Garden Answer.
I heard the same comment about carrying Espoma products from a nearby (NW Indiana) garden center owner who said they "gave in" and began to carry Espoma after 40 some years in business.
I love the picture with the kids in the trench. Reminds me of a job I did putting in a frost free for a lady. The day to install pipe I had my 2yr old. Only place she couldn’t run a muck was with me in the trench. 😂
I normally don’t like too whimsical garden spaces, however those hydrangeas under the bowl in the center of the patio draw your eye and soften what is otherwise a very structured (concrete, brick, the bowl having “corners”, etc…) area. Please don’t move the hydrangeas. I feel they brought the softness and white blooms to properly “lift” the bowl to its rightful place in the center of that circle. (Obviously it’s your space and you should do what you love, I just remember thinking how perfect those hydrangeas were in that specific location.)
Zone 9a here...and I was able to winter over my supervista's. All of my bubblegum, jazzberry, purple midnight (?), & snowdrift came back and are doing great. They are in the front of flowerbeds with no protection from wind. In late fall, I pruned them back, added extra layer of mulch (chopped pine straw) and covered them only on freeze nights, which we only had 3 nights in a row that where under 32° with lowest temps at 19°. Since they are all in front of beds lined up, it was easy to lay my covers over them and secure ends with bricks. I also fertilized them weekly with PW water soluble during growing season. It worked and was great to see all of them come back and begin blooming in April! 🌸
Zone 8a Virginia here - my Supertunia Bubblegums are on their third (!) year in the ground and going strong because of our recent past mild winters!! What a testimonial for the toughness of a Proven Winner plant! Like < jenterro > front of the bed, fertilized weekly and covered on only the coldest nights. They are gorgeous and going for it way earlier (March!) because of their head start on the season.
Hi, I’m in zone 8, coastal South Carolina. I planted a Jazzberry and a Bubblegum together in a large pot last year. They bloomed beautifully all summer, and I was hating the idea of losing them at the end of the year. I put the pot in the protected corner of our porch when we got a few freezing nights in January. So I wrapped harvest cloth around the pot, watered it periodically, and they survived the winter! So I pulled it out in March, trimmed the branches back, and fertilized the plants. They are blooming beautifully once again. Another testimonial to the quality of PW plants ! ❤🪴
We had a very large pond for 7 years and enjoyed it in fall, winter and spring. In summer we gave up 😂. We have pulled all the green string I plan to pull for a lifetime.
This probably is a weird comment to make but I feel like U are a long lost sister of mine😂 I tell my husband all the time how crazy we r so much alike, (I’d be the older sister😉 I’m much older..50) I never want to go on vacations because I love my home so much and spend all my time in my flower beds and I’m very antisocial lol, I Love sewing and love to go find treasures at antique stores, anyways i will stop blabbering now lol, just love watching your videos, it truly is the highlight of my day💛💛💛💛💛
So glad to hear the string algae problem is improving. And hopefully with the addition of pond plants, it'll completely improve. And about eating artichokes, I had some that were "stuffed" many, many years ago at a restaurant. You pull a leaf off and scrape a TINY amount of stuffing off the leaf with your teeth, and you know it was fine I guess. And then you get toward the center, where we had to scrape out all of the "choke" or you'll choke on what are the fibers that would have become the thistle flower of an artichoke, to finally get to the heart. And yeh, the heart is good, but when I finally saw some artichoke cooking videos, stuffed ones like I'd had, I thought, "You've got to be kidding? That is WAY too much work!" Just to eat a tiny bit of stuffing, because you can't eat the leaves? Or just to get to the artichoke heart? Just buy a jar of those, let someone else do the work. LOL! Thanks for the recap!

Aaron…. I’ve gone in garden centers in Pennsylvania and asked for plants. The cashiers said, “Laura, right?” 😂
Middle TN nurseries and garden clubs LOVE GardenAnswer
That’s awesome!
Flagg’s garden store in Moorestown NJ 😊
Pa. Gardener here too !!
I'm in PA... near Pittsburgh :)
I don’t think you both realize how MUCH you influence people and their planting choices. 💐💚🙃

What a great comment.
Same!!!
I was talking to my husband about my morning routine watching Garden Answer-he said, “Is that the one that cost me a lot of money?” 😆 You definitely influence-in a really good way!

“ We’re gonna have to expand…!!!”…oh my gosh…😂😂Lol
😂
I started laughing out loud when Aaron started talking about getting a smaller Bobcat, LOL. I love watching you all.
I agree and the look on Laura's face as he is explaining when he first brought it up to her, she was only 20% listening, she is only 10% listening to his explanation here! haha
Ps. I would not change one thing about the fountain planting! I was skeptical at first like, Aaron, but WOW it turned out amazing!!! Love it!!!

Laura definitely made me a gardener. Gave me the confidence to be able to do drip irrigation and just pull things out I don’t like. Thanks Laura!
I was looking for Bio-Tone in a Vermont garden shop. The cashier said "You must be a GA fan". We then had a nice chat of our love for Laura, Aaron, and family/crew.
Causes instant friendship!
I live in Northern California. While back I asked for a particular plant that was in Laura’s garden, the lady at the nursery said “Let me guess, Garden Answer”. So I think your impact of plants and products is far and wide!
I think GA people are more vocal about what plant they want!
That was an excellent save on that cracked fountain. Beautiful and perfect size fir that space!
Me immediately googling the lifespan of a chicken... We are all so invested in your lives. (and the lives of your pets)
'Aaron and the sunflower' still makes me laugh! It made me realise that many changes are made off-camera but teasing Aaron was fun 🤣
Agree with Aaron - I’m a gardener because if you Laura. I always felt plants were so delicate and they scared me. Seeing and listening to Laura care for plants makes me more confident!!! The gentle pot kick and the gentle toss of seedlings is classic!
Aaron, that old gate would be perfect as an entrance to the children’s area from the dream stream! Magical!!
I too write down so many ideas from watching Laura. I couldn’t possibly follow up on all of them, but I’m always inspired.
Just wanted Laura to know I raised my hand for the horse barn 🙋♀️
Yes, Laura does create a lot of gardeners. My life has been changed by the knowledge she has gifted me. Thankfully, the greenhouse I shop at watches your videos as well. They carry Proven Winners. I lean much on perennials. Thank you for all you share! "One person can make a difference."
You absolutely give people the knowledge and courage to try gardening. Your effect on the world is much bigger than you know. Thank you for all that you share!
For the zone 10 person there is a blue colored palm that is close to spruce color.
Woohoo! Coffee in hand ☕️ love a Recap 👀👏🏽
Dipped in garlic and melted butter 😋
🌲 To the person that asked about zone 10 blue conifers- Arizona Cypress!!!! Carolina Sapphire variety is super fast growing- even here in ATX.
Raising my hand for Laura to get her horse barn first
You guys influence the entire country!!!! We all want to be like you!!!
" ~ EPHESIANS 5:1
To Him be all praise, honor and glory given. Peace.
Never worry about the length of the videos. We all sit and watch the whole thing!!
I love the hydrangeas around the fountain / planter in the patio circle. They look so delicate and beautiful there. I don't feel it takes away from the formality.
Yes! I love those fairy tale bride hydrangeas.I am keeping my eyes out for them to watch them through the season.
I agree with Aaron, Laura you create new gardeners and encourage old gardeners too. I am zone 8 and I leave my dahlia's in the ground.
That ADORABLE baby girl, Looks JUST LIKE YOUR MOM!!!! Absolutely ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes! I do carry my “Laura” list of plants to the garden center! ❤🌸 Thank you for your incredible content! #gardenanswer morning routine!
I totally learned Proven Winners and Espoma from GA. I now look for those brands first before anything else. ❤
5b, had a Playin' the Blues come back this year too! I'm also one of those people that goes to my local garden center with a "garden answer list" :)
Good morning all have a safe and blessed day ❤️
I would agree with Aaron that because of this channel, you make us viewers more confident!
You should get a few Silkie chickens for the kids. They are the sweetest most docile chickens.
I saw that photo n FaceBook
Aaron is correct...you have created a lot of gardeners !!!!! :) :)
Good morning from Delaware Garden Answer friends.
Artichokes look like huge spiky weeds that grow in the wild…
I am a subscriber and I get the notification every day at around 14:00!!!
I think everyone should garden from the heart, but…. I’m with Aaron on the artichokes. Definitely gives Little Shop of Horrors vibe to the Hartley. 😂
I found the 27# bag of Holly Tone on sale at Lowe’s for $14 and the same size bag of Plant Tone at Tractor Supply for $20. I bought them all!
Our Costco sells Rose Tone in the big bags for $17 each . A great buy and we use a couple of bags every year.
Felt the need to say that I started gardening & continue to dream bigger & better every season because of this channel :)
Raising my hand for you Laura! 🙋♀️ 🐴
I’m with Aaron on the mini bobcat! So many uses!
Artichokes in the microwave for 10 minutes are perfect! You guys are so much fun to listen to/watch.
I love when the editing makes me laugh😂🥰
I loved the contrast between the "whimsical" hydrangeas and the formal fountain base! I thought it tied in beautifully with the gaura plants in the top.
Since you asked our opinion, I’ll give my vote for keeping the fairytrail bride hydrangeas right where they are. Those were my favorite thing of that entire fountain project and I think they are absolutely gorgeous there!
Have you considered planting some of your endless Dahlias in the decorative borders and just leaving them to see what happens, a few big swathes of them would look great away from the cutting garden.
Love having longer videos! Never apologize for providing more content. Love it! Thank you.
I agree with Aaron…Laura you make people feel like they can garden!!! ❤❤❤
35:16 AARON!! THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT LIKE THAT GATE!! LOL
I was just at Far West Nursery last week and told them I wanted the specific light pink geranium you grew. I got it! Youve made me like geranuims. I had never been a fan before Garden Answer.
Oh, you two really are the best. The Bobcat discussion is hilarious and my husband would be just the same.😂❤
I heard the same comment about carrying Espoma products from a nearby (NW Indiana) garden center owner who said they "gave in" and began to carry Espoma after 40 some years in business.
Aaron, you are correct about Laura's influence. I always have a pen and paper by me when watching your show and then I'm off to the nurseries.
I love the picture with the kids in the trench. Reminds me of a job I did putting in a frost free for a lady. The day to install pipe I had my 2yr old. Only place she couldn’t run a muck was with me in the trench. 😂
“You’re lookin’ a little cold…” 😆
Yea, I caught that too!! 😂🤣😂
This probably is a weird comment to make but I feel like U are a long lost sister of mine😂 I tell my husband all the time how crazy we r so much alike, (I’d be the older sister😉 I’m much older..50) I never want to go on vacations because I love my home so much and spend all my time in my flower beds and I’m very antisocial lol, I Love sewing and love to go find treasures at antique stores, anyways i will stop blabbering now lol, just love watching your videos, it truly is the highlight of my day💛💛💛💛💛
Yes! I think of Laura and Aaron as my people! 😆
