Charlie, I've only just discovered you the last few months and I so very much appreciate your sessions. I don't have any feet injuries, but I thought this would be excellent to get in touch with muscles I may not attend to as much. I was not disappointed. Thanks for all you make available to us. I wish you great joy and fulfillment.
Hi Charlie I just wanted to say thanks for this series of No feet sessions. They have helped me over the last week since injuring my foot/ankle running and helped keep me focused on remaining active whilst my injury improves, thanks again. Peter
Hi Peter thank you for you comment I'm glad you appreciate this series, I know it's helped a lot of people. I hope your injury is healing well, wishing you all the best. Charlie
While dealing with some foot pain and the inability to do my normal routine, this has become a lifesaver! I don’t have to stop my practice entirely, especially when external motivation helps! Thank you
I'm so glad this routine has been helping you ☺️ did you know I have a series of these classes. In case you get tired of doing the same routine here's the playlist to find the series: ruclips.net/p/PLJvDaXFqvSLNbN1qIo2v3Iezn4W9-53gN
@@CharlieFollowsoh my gosh thank you so much! I rolled my ankle dancing last Friday and I can barley even walk. Having multiple sessions is so awesome since there is a long recovery ahead. Thank you so much!
HI, Charlie, I love your class, and have to say a huge thank you because six week after surgery -bimolear ankle fracture- I think I only saved part of my sanity thanks to you. 😊 Seriously, I discovered your series some days after the operation and have been practising every day wiht you. When one limb is « missing » your body compensates by working -sometimes overworking- other parts. So it has been a wonderful help to avoid new tensions or having a cardboard stiff body due to immobility. Some of the side balancing exercises on hand / knee - some times foot, were tricky so on the « wobbly insecure » side I simply used my bed to give support to my back thus avoiding tension and risks on the healing limb. Thanks again for your great practices and help.
Hey it's great to hear from you thank you for your kind comments on the no feet series, I'm happy it's been helping you stay sane. You are absolutely right, usually when we are injured and do nothing we end up picking up other problems as a result of over compensation. Your approach to staying active is great and I hope you are recovering well.
I was just injured for the past 6 weeks, and this whole series has helped me to stay consistent with my yoga practice! Thank you so much, Charlie! You’re amazing!
Thank you so much for the thought behind this series! It's so helpful for me right now for maintaining strength of mind, body and spirit since I broke a bone in my foot a few weeks ago.
I'm grateful I found this class and that you have others as well. My left foot is injured and I've not been moving the way I like to despite having been learning about adaptive yoga just before the injury. I look forward to your other classes and being able to ground and stretch more. Namaste 🙏🏼
Thank you for this wonderful series! I've had a dancer's fracture in my fifth metatarsal for five weeks. I haven't been wearing a cast since Monday and am allowed to put weight on my foot again even though the fracture hasn't healed yet. I have not received any instructions on how to mobilize my foot again. I'm happy to at least be able to get back into my yoga routine with these videos. Thank you very much!
It’s my pleasure Penny I’m happy you found this series and it’s been helping you through your injury. Wishing you a speedy recovery and all the best ☺️

Thank you so much for this flow! I’ve strained a tendon in the top of my foot which makes even walking incredibly uncomfortable. I’m so glad I don’t have to give up my yoga practice while it heals! Thanks again ✨
thank you oh so so soooooo much for this!! i fractured my ankle skateboarding a few weeks ago, still in a cast but i can weight-bare as tolerated thankfully, and while ive been able to do slowly do some exercise, this felt so good in a way lots of other workouts havent! it felt really nice to flip and roll and twist and get a great full body stretch, yoga has been one of the things ive missed doing to my fullest ability since the injury, so this felt amazing! excited to explore the other no-feeter sessions!!
Hi Charlie, I also say thank you for this fun and restorative class! I've been searching for exercise to do with a foot bone fracture and nothing quite struck the right cord until yours. I love your calm and encouraging demeanor so I will be back for more! 💕
Thanks for this challenging class. I injured my foot and can't put any weight on it so this is the perfect class to do while I heal. I'll have to check out the rest in this series. So glad I found it!
Thank you so much for this flow, Charlie. I have a Weber A fracture on my right ankle which happened very recently so I’m still wearing a boot and having to use crutches to get around. I had to adapt this a bit to accommodate wearing the boot, but I enjoyed it so much and I’m so grateful to have a way to continue my yoga practice. I’ve felt quite despairing about not being able to do yoga, particularly handstands as I’ve been making huge progress with them, but I’m looking forward to returning to this flow and the rest of the No Feet series throughout my injury recovery. Thank you again for your kind and gentle approach 🤍
Hey Saskia, sorry to hear about your ankle, I know how hard living with an injury can be when you are trying to maintain a movement practice. I'm glad you managed to adapt this to work for you and how the rest of the no feet series can keep you busy during recovery x
Thanks for the no feet session, Charlie! I cut my left ankle requiring stitches. Your session is keeping me active as I nurse my ankle until I can again be fully active. Just had to make a few adjustments on some parts to avoid my stitches.
Thank you for joining me Katie, I hope you enjoy the other classes in the no feet series just as much and that they continue to challenge you during your recovery.
This was great! I have permanent damage in both of my ankles/feet thanks to injuries, and sometimes they still swell up like balloons and I have to keep off them a few days. This routine made me feel like I was actually getting some strength building in, although the cat's a bit annoyed about my extremely inelegant imitation of her rolling around on my mat 😂 Looking forward to trying another one of the feet free practices tomorrow!
Love this class! (and your other no feet yoga classes) Thank you so much for keeping me going as I recover from major foot surgery. Long way to go but at least I can still practice. Namaste 🙏
I have a broken ankle in cast and found this session really tough (but good!). Using the cushion actually made that balancing pose feel impossible for me as I felt so reluctant to place so much confidence in my cast leg kneeling - when I took the cushion away it was hard but possible. So just wanted to say to others that if you feel like something is too much for your body or you feel like you need to change something to make it work for you then that's ok 😊 Thanks so much for doing these videos!
Thank you for such a thoughtful flow🙌 I am a personal trainer, fitness class trainer an kickboxing trainer. I always integrated some yoga into my routine. I recently broke my dominant ankle in 2 places requiring surgery. Plates and screws. And fractured my L non dominant heel. Needless to say I’m not using my feet and this has been very depressing to me. I’m 2 1/2 weeks out of surgery and appreciate these gentle flows. You’re instructions are very clear and concise which really helps since I am not proficient at yoga. Thank you again. Namaste 🙏
Hey Christina it’s lovely to hear from you, I’m sorry to hear about your ankle. I’ve had my fair share of injuries and know how challenging they can be emotionally as well as physically. I’m glad this series is helping you stay active and hopefully having some benefits on your mental health too x
I have no injury, but after a long exhausting day I was looking for a bit more grounding and relaxing practice and this class so perfect! It is really fun and has some nice challenges. Thank you Charlie!
