Fafna the dragon really made an impact on me during my first playthrough since it was the first enemy that really dealt a lot of damage to my army singlehandedly. I mistakenly thought they had a level 3 fireball from that point on but it's actually just a level 1 fireburst which is significantly weaker, even the wiki has this wrong.
For me the impact came from Hyrr in Leafshade, which does in fact use Fireball. I remember killing him quickly and waiting there watching my Avatar die because the damage ticks would not stop.
@@skaidan5213 I didn't have too much trouble with Hyrr, the most annoying part is the thin slide of land that he's on, severely limiting your troops ability to advance. He's pretty memorable in some rework mod though (I think it's reworked). He's level 18 with a summon demon spell.
Correction: all playable races have the same sight range at day, the only difference is at night, where humans have the lowest range, which is 5, so basically equivalent of 5 NPCs in every direction. This means they can only aggro by themselves when enemies are up-close. They will still try to cast defensive spells like every other races, if there are enemies within certain range ( which is higher than their sight range at night ). If you want to attack enemies further way, you need to have a unit with higher range to see for them and then directly order to attack them.
haha I subconsciously tried skipping with my space bar. Ah yes learning to walk faster through h spamming with a macro, and skipping dialogues on your 4th playthrough. This game has insane graphics for 2003. Great sound, and god I love how the workers scream to fulfill ur orders. The sound, the ambience. My fav Story Game.
first of all thank you for lets playing this masterpiece. Im from germany and i live near the city there this game got developed. Ive played it since it came out but i just made a 100% game last week. So i cant wait to learn more about this game wich i didnt knew. Eloni was btw. my favourite map. I always wondered why there is this Trader in the south of the City wich sells a Diamond. This diamond is super expensive and just one time a loot in the lategame. Is there anything i dont know about this diamond? Edit: Lol sorry you are talking about this in this video. I was to early :P
I'm not entirely sure what you're asking if you think quests should be their own video. Do you mean doing a few maps and then having a video tackling a couple side quests? Or doing one map and then having another video for sidequests on that map? In any case, I advocate for doing side quests whenever they're possible to progress. Many quests have interesting rewards and having access to their rewards early can really change up the game.
@@Roman_607 you have to wait veery long time on a map (maybe up to 2h), but yeah - they start their regrowing process (like trees from elven forester).
Imho English sounds better, not because I don’t understand German at all, I just feel like English voice actors are more emotional, and the voices suit more
Can Yo ustop collecting the skill points? I can realease the reason why You doing this, but in these early point the game it is sensless. You loosing your avatar potential. And please change these shity pants already. They'r level 1 :d

Aria, Stone, Iron, Lenya (?) and Moonsilver "regrow"
Other resources do too. Trees reappear over time and animals respawn.
@@condoslime776 r u sure about trees? Never noticed

tbh, as a native german speaker, its kinda confsuing to me to hear the change between english and german. But I like it anyways. Kepp it up.

Balls
why no mod bruh
Sadly there aren't many mods for Spellforce 1, but some of them are great for the campaigns
