Your calculated move with the frostbones was very impressive! I love doing such calculations myself, but I often have to switch to strategic teleport to the bindstone.
now you mention it regarding the hermit I did the same mistake the same happened to me when I reached the Halit map common mistake for beginners and about the quest won't start only after the cut scene NO the countdown starts when you enter the map cuz of 2nd time I went straight to the monument took my time then I heard the warning before triggering the cut scene finally you got rid of that staff the TOD is easy and tame compared to the breath of winter and shadow of the phoenix and I am thinking of making a new character in to re-play breath of winter
I like the way this map feels as you have the imperative of the waves of indead to deal with. Usually you might have a trickle of enemies but very objectives that you could actually lose
I have had the important people in the northern windwalls move over to the backup camp, it happened while playing one of the rework mods (I think Revisisted) which greatly strengthened the undead wave. The northern windwalls is the place where your weapon type really starts to matter. All skeletons take half damage from cutting weapons. So blunt weapons are highly recommended to use against them, so grab your heavy clubs. The ice staff will do too I guess.
Last time I played was with a Mind Magic Avatar, and I discovered that if you dominate an undead and bring it to the fortress, it activates the event that moves the NPC's to the camp. I don't even think it was an undead from one of the waves. It was quite funny. As soon as I dominated it again, the Hallits walked back to the fortress.
Usually here i just send few workers to build towers instead of rangers or windarchers and try to send healers as quick and much as possible. And it works pretty good i can say.
I don't mean the ALL FGM grind, just the campaign part. Ya know? I bet there's even some older players that never got to play it and don't know all the lore stuff that it adds. 😉😁 Not to mention, that's where we meet Nightsong for the very first time. 😍

The Hallit and the Hallite Dwarves, the best duo ever since the War of the Six Races.

Funny you say the dryad would have been the root of the issue.
wait did you actually pick the wrong choice for the Evil dryad questline
The start of the best part until mulandir
Kann man eigentlich mehr Gegner mit der Konsole spawnen?
So... you gonna play all 3 campaigns?
How about the FGM campaign? 😉
