A lot of the Gintama crowd is actually pretty cool. I doubt a single one of these endings is underrated, but some are just played more than others. But yeah that was a sick ending for the time, good ol redballoon. Obviously it must have done well because they came back with Opening 3 later as well.

Shura and Speed of flow always felt the strongest to me, heavy and straight out intense rock rather than relying on electronic sounds. That’s just more my style.

It's not underated in Japan it's one of the Tops their it's not as popular in the west because the Comedy doesn't connect with people aswell as others and the First 60 episodes can be a big turn off for most people
God it’s crazy to think the same band did Fly High in Haikyu, such different sounds. I prefer this one for sure, there’s just such an emotional tone to it that I don’t really get from the other stuff. And the visuals are a killer, best I’ve seen for a BURNOUT SYNDROMES anime song.

Speaking my language. The super serious arcs with four or more episode always got the best endings. Shura, Signal, Sangai, Kagayaita, Wonderful Days, Samurai Heart, Nakama, Moonwalk, Expect, Sagiou Made II, Glorius Days, Acchi Mute, Silver, Hana Ichi Monme and Hikari Shoumeiron. I can never watch a show without spoiling it for myself, but I don't regret it here. Knowing the prize you get if you stick with it long enough keeps me watching. I do tend to take longer than needed breaks though when watching, especially after a long arc. Yoshiwara, here I come.
I’m with Shura and Speed of flow 100%. Glorious Days is fantastic as well (the visuals are what give it that big edge in particular). I wasn’t really a huge fan of Destiny to be honest though. Otherwise I love every other ending besides maybe Asa Answer.
20:52 Wonderful days always manages to make me tear up. The music is beautiful and slightly sentimental but feels positive as well. The moment where the refrain starts again and Gintoki notices all the friends he made along the way following him just rips my hear out, I love this anime so much!
36:55 is such overwhelming, powerful imagery. It shows that even though these two couldn't have been any more opposed to one another for a good portion of the story, neither one of them is doing it to be malicious or evil "Just cuz." They both believe that what they're doing is right and will stop at nothing to see it through. It just so happens that they disagree on what the right thing to do is. Very powerful visual storytelling.

Oml the lyrics are 100x better. The lyrics for Acchi Muite basically foreshadows the rest of the series. It mentions “keep our hands together we will all understand” and “time to make anew” clearly hinting that the Earth and its inhabitants losing their Shogun was the final straw and now they are finally kicning the Amanto out. They still remember the days of the samurai and forced to forget it and move on. Society has accepted the Amanto but in secret they always despised them and the humans wanted their earth back. One reason why Acchi Muite is my fav ending

I know, it's such a pain to make a list cause ya pretty much love them all in this series. The only ones I didn't like are ending 13 and ending 23. The rest are great!
