PS4 is actually holding this generation back. They're STILL developing for it after 4 years, which downgrades games. It's not Series S.

They aren’t still developing on it outside of call of duty and Madden and 2k, all the new games coming this year and next are only current gen, Silent hill 2, metal gear solid 3, Wolverine, mafia old country, splinter cell, Death stranding 2, max Payne remake, resident evil 9, ghosts of Tsushima 2 and the new god of war set in Egypt, all coming to current gen, PS4 is done

I understand the hype, but the reality is that all those multi $100M+ speculative DLCs & Sequels will either be the tail end of 2027 or PS6 launch. Astrobot is like $50 & Concorde was less than that. These $600+ consoles won't do well until they drop to $300 - $400. The casuals run gaming, not the hardcore! $70+ tax games aint it for them.

Sony spent over $300M on their #1 exclusive in SM2 and it only sold 11M which equals a loss in profits. None of the other ONLY PS5 games haven't sold 4M ~ all loses! With 50% of PS user base has PS5 players ~ they don't buy games or consoles. They just give their money to Microsoft, Epic & EA in Call of Duty, Fortnite & Madden!
