Depends on the country, it's even different in different countries that have the Euro lol... In Germany for example it's completely legal to do whatever you want with your money. You could shred billions of euro notes if you had the money lol
In other EU countries it's only legal to destroy a certain amount.
If you think about it, there is no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to destroy money. If you are allowed to never spend it or hide it somewhere, where it's never found, you might as well be allowed to destroy it.

Idk, maybe you have other sources, but it specifically stated that you will not be punished for it. And in art contextes, it states, it is indeed allowed, thoughnot encouraged.

I made one using 50 cent euro. What a beautiful ring, with a nice size, polish and form. The problem is that dyes your hands with a gross green :(

Because its bi-metallic, it runs a risk of separating when it goes through extremely hot or cold days. (The metals expand at different rates)

For significant temperature change to expand at different rates, you're talking absolute zero (-273°c) to + 300°c in a matter of minutes!
The last thing you'll be worried about will be your pocket change!

Diamonds are actually the most common gemstone… if you want an expensive gemstone get a sapphire or a Ruby or alexandrine
@@rawfermews4186 That's partly true. While they are everywhere the larger pure ones are not. Also they are in fact expensive even if not technically rare.
@@CynHicks the larger pure ones aren’t everywhere because you’ll a most never find a EXTREMELY clear purified gemstone. They aren’t supposed to be 100% clear that’s just not how they are spawned in. Most gemstones are only cleared because of human intervention. It’s a very small percentage of diamonds that are used for jewelry and whatnot. They are expensive only because of society. Just like how in America nobody used to want lobsters but then as they became more popular everybody wanted them. If society all of a sudden came to there senses and was like wow we put so much value on diamonds but they are extremely common and there are also many other pretty gemstones they’d loose their popularity, then become worth very little.

In this scenario the creator took a Euro, which is pretty worthless in the global market. Sorry if that causes offence but I reckon you will get over it. Turned it into an item of jewellery, thus increasing its monetary value significantly. Probably far exceeding the value of the metals it was made from.
