It reminds me about how you led that class, year 8 in Buma PS,2007,and you and other bright students made me continue to wake up each morning pumped to teach ...Mr. Deng, your former Social Studies teacher, still teaching, now high School and PS now in Adelaide,South Australia.

Beautiful speech my sister. You make me jump out of my chair and wonder whether to sing Alelujiah or just cry. Sister Rhoda, you are an inspiration. All you have said is true, every word of it is true. Sukuma Wiki...in Swahili, the veggie the push the week. Sukuma is push and wiki is week so sukuma wiki. I was a teacher at Fuji Academy in Kakuma before coming to Canada in August 2002. She went to Turkana Girls, I went to Katilu Boys. What an inspirational video!

My sister, I'm still very angry at South Sudan Government for not holding up to the South Sudanese expectations after we attained our independence. I think and I know greed mixed with human stupidly plus illiteracy is always a ticking bomb. Dr John Garang had it under control, the world was very excited and so were we but boom, John Garang De Mabior was dead flying back from Uganda in Museveni helicopter...somewhere in the mountains. Wow. What mountains and where? I was depressed for a month. I did not talk to people and shut off my Facebook. That is the reason I hate Facebook upto now....because good new can turn into bad news in aHeartbeat.....back to the point. My people, let God be your leader, your heart your instructor and your brain is your mentor but see with your eyes because we have humans who can see but are blinded by they stupidity. Thank WUSC, thank Jesuit Refugee Service, especially Sister Maureen Lima. I hope she is still alive.
