Not gonna lie, I didn't think I was gonna stay, but I'm watching it all and this is such a great project. one thing about this video is that I feel like you're someone I'm just talking with about things I'm interested it. The best part is you're showing what you made, and it actually looks great. Keep true and organic; I'm definitely subscribing.
That was a very clever shortcut, making ChatGPT do the colour research for you. That's definitely an example of an effective use of AI for artistic purposes. Like that woman said, "I want AI to do my laundry and dishes so I can do more art, not the other way around." The final colour is great on you, and I love that you appreciate how it's a bit subversive, not a typical "manly" colour. My husband was very skeptical of the coral rayon button up I bought for him until he saw himself in the mirror. Now he owns three shirts in various shades of coral, because it just looks stunning on him. "Smoky amethyst" is definitely a "you" colour.
Good stuff man, never really thought about mixing the colors of dye, idk why not but…. Anyway in a past video you talked about Removing rivets without hurting yourself, use side cutters or side dykes. Kinda like pliers but with a V shaped head that cuts wire and the like. Give a little squeeze on one the rivet rotate little squeeze, just work it off. Easy peasy!
The thrift-flip/upcycling type of content is very dope - also dig the instructional and DIY approach. I'm sure it's on your radar, but regarding the length of the jacket it would be cool to dive into the proportions of modern clothes vs vintage. I feel like the old school proportions (wrist/cuff 2-5 inches below waistline) looks naturally better on everyone. Not sure I get the modern obsession with long waistlines on everything.
Can you show us where you get the hardware, like the zipper and like the stuff you got for the other carhartt jacket where you did the key chain thing? And how you sew that on there
Good shit bro, the mixing in the last couple minutes of the video is off though, the music is way too loud 😂😂 just trying to be constructive though, love the vibes. Instant sub
@@rabbit407 it’s hard to tell, but since this purple is dark it’s possible. First hit the jacket with rit dye remover, then dye it. That’s what I would do at least!
@@frecilz I think it's good for limited applications, like the dye formulas, but not a big fan of it in music or art. It's basically just compiling art from other people and copying it
I lowkey love the vibes of this channel, something is just really comforting about it lol.
Appreciate it! Thats what I’m going for!
I don’t get how you’ve had such quality videos from day one, but they are great! Your channel is going to blow up so quickly! Keep it up!
Thank you! I’m trying my best for sure!!

@@elan8213 completely agree with what you’re saying, I want to get into that type of content. Thanks for the feedback too!
Let’s gooo NEW VIDEO!
Yessir!!
In my opinion You had to remove that Carhartt logo before dyeing the jacket and add it later; except that everything looks great
@@HOUSSAM_BCN completely agree, I’ll know for next time!
can you do an update on how it fades and after 8:00 your voice get drowend out by the background music
Really wanting to know how you do your double zips! Please! Please!! Please!!!
can you share the dyes and measurements to get this exact color?
for sure!
1 cup Wine,
1/2 cup Purple,
1/4 cup Black (to deepen it)
1/4 cup Navy Blue (for a cooler undertone)
@@frecilz thanks man!

@@elibillings6003 I honestly appreciate the feedback! Thank you and I’m working on that!
I almost wanna say you should wax it. That color would take it nicely. Maybe even some white chalk "life experience" on there.

Doesn't carhart make a purple jacket just like that?

The ai stuff was very knowledgeable but do you solely rely on ai?
Definitely not, but for what it’s being used for in the video it can help curb a ton of trial and error! Great question though!
