I think many people think this job is easy but in reality you have to give up a lot of time and follow many rules.

Thanks for this detailed video. It was very interesting to listen to, even though I have no plans of becoming a flight attendant myself. Hearing good people get downgraded like that because of jealous, petty colleagues is pretty sad and disheartening to hear. I've realised that many people want to do and are capable for this job, so the employees are sadly easier to replace.
I also got redundant 3months ago.. same happened with me in jet airways 2 years ago .. But then too i want to fly.. coz i love flying 👼 be positive. And this lady is speaking truth 👌

I work for Air India as a cabin crew and the atmosphere is good even after the Tata's.. i was thinking to switch to qatar airways as i am about to complete my 5 year contract.
I was regretting not filling the recent recruitment form by qatar airways.
But after watching this video i don't regret my decision, will continue working here at my home base. Money is not everything, mental peace is more imp ❤
Also we have so many crew from Qatar Airways who got terminated and are currently in Air India very happy , sharing deadly stories lol

It's very simple though.... Follow rules and you should be fine... I was flying for Emirates for well over 12 years... Unfortunately crew think they are too special and want to bend rules to their liking... Every job has policies and procedures... Follow them, you can't just get the perks but not want other parts

The policies and the restrictions depends on some beneficial purposes bro you are absolutely right. I worked for QA for more than 6 years with the company, became a senior also, i also went through everything.. look guys being a crew for the these companies is much much more different form any other airlines in the world...

I listened to the complete video. When there's night then there's day as well. However for stronger people day & night doesn't matter, specially those who have already been in hectic customer service environment for longer period..

I think that for each company there are rules and you should adhere to these rules. Before signing this contract. Before signing the contract, you are told of all these rules and signed with the agreement of all parties.

I'm a f/a too for 10 years (not in the Middle East) and my company has the same rules. It can cause a lot of stress on a person and many people don't do this job for longer than 5 years.
Honestly, I have seen so many videos highlighting the pros and cons but they were somewhere the same points.

I totally can relate all the pointers as i also work in an airline which has the same environment.
My sister have been working there for long and she finds Qatar airways the most beautiful company in the world. She feels blessed to be part of this company every single day of her life. It depends what you are looking for. If serving and caring for people is what you love and that's why you joined then no doubt you can't have a better company than this. We are proud and happy the way Qatar airways treats its employees. Even Google company which is considered one of the most desired company is not liked by some employees ,doesn't mean that company is not a good place to work. I will not mention here what are the benefits perks you get by Qatar airways as a employee but those who are interested please research from a right source. Believe me if your attitude is right, this company is most caring and finest company to be. More than a family !

Yeah, because the company is full of Indians who just support each other and ignore other nationalities. Favoritism is so real over there. Even food in a canteen is oriented only towards Indians like europeans or south americans do not exist and must love biryani :D

I just need to add, I work for Emirates and we absolutely do not have any of these rules, you can leave your apartment whenever you please and you will definitely not get fired for having a hand sanitizer on your bag 😳 so please do not say all Middle eastern airlines are like this...
I am very much aware that emirates lets the crew chill and they are even more chilled with handling things be it for crew or against crew .
I would like to add that as the video title states clearly it is my experience with QR knowing that most of the disadvantages do exist for middle eastern airlines too like reporting culture, Audits, contractual bonded labour, performance and sickness related issues etc .
Having said that I am sure you are super lucky to be a part of an amazing airline like emirates .

Hy ma'am i wanted to ask you that I have applied for cabin crew interview for Chennai location and I got the invitation for meet and greet round on 31st January 2022 but because of some vaccination issues I was not able to attend that so after that I applied for Bangalore location and Lucknow location with same cv so now my Lucknow application status showing completed what does it mean please help me ma'am and Bangalore application status showing CC New MBR External what does it mean please help me ma'am.

Qatar restriction are annoying only for européenne and american people like us arabe/muslim people is like really normal and even great and the corfew is 4am like what are gone do at 4am .-.

This video was suggested after I was watching a few videos on the life of cabin crew. Really good effort to come up with such an elaborate video. I went through the comments after watching the video. Like you rightly said, it depends on people's mindset and priorities. For some, money could be everything and for some, including me, personal life comes first. Follow your passion and work with Organizations that lay more emphasis on work life balance. Constantly being on the radar/under microscope could be quite stressful. If health, physical or otherwise, gets disturbed, no high paying jobs will help us.

You do receive boys at home. i was cabin crew male for QR, and visited females accomodation all the time, as long as you are not on your minimum rest and not night

Fellow ex qr crew of 13 yrs😀 resigned last year👏🏻 I love your honest review which we can’t really talk about while employed with QR😉 Guys, this is one of the most in depth honest truth about the realities of working with Qatar Airways. Watching you reminds me of my QR life too. It’s a life that you don’t really know what will happen tomorrow. But hey, I didn’t know that they can’t have male or visitors from opposite sex anymore, geez too much now! When i left, it was still allowed. That’s kinda sad for those who are still there😬
The rules are really hard. But dear that's a middle eastern country and they have lot of rules. And 21 of age at which they hire is too young for indian girls to live alone in those middle eastern country, like doha, Riyadh etc. As a safety purpose.What else they can do...

believe me everywhere is the same when you are working for someone then you are servant, But the things you are saying about this job screw that I won't do it even how much they pay good. Once, I was watching one you tube video and very old guy driving rickshaw and his knee got some infection. So the interviewer asked him why don't you find some job so you don't have to drive rickshaw and he said, no driving rickshaw is better because I am free and whenever I want to work I will work and if I don't I go home.
