- The Triple A gaming industry has been one of the most profitable businesses for the past decade bringing in some great and memorable experiences, but it might have gone over the edge with severe bloat, spending and overaggressive monetization that's been driving players away. So the question is... Is this the end of AAA games? or are we close to hitting rock bottom before we see a resurgence of great games.

Me enjoying this AAA gaming downfall 😊
The problem is AAA games won't die because large amounts of people are happy to pay for the same corporate slop every year.
The budget has grown but the audience hasn't
It's better to let gaming burn nowadays
I'm still playing a UT/Quake clone called Nexuiz. It's not the most stunning game visually. But, its good fun. Just like Fantasy Life on the DS.
The clock started ticking when they started calling themselves AAA.
Lets not forget the higher tier "bonus packages", where you receive "limited edition (digital) skins" and a 5 day, early access pass... To beta test for them.
"Are the people who have the money screwed?"
No, definitely not.
Just a question its been a wile last time i watched a video. But what happened to your hair
Did you miss that Stellar Blade is the most sold game in April? Baldurs Gate 3? Zelda.

Video game never should have left the comic book feel, but they wanted to feed dudebros insecurities and try to be Hollywood.
🦾💪
Greed it’s killing the entertainment industry as a whole movies, TV shows music , anime and of course video games all of it sucks unless you go indie
@@Toastcat890 it’s not greed. If so you’d give the players what you want to make money. Like look at the Saint Row’s reboot. Why make a game you know your players will hate and then insult them. The motivation there isn’t money.
@@marcar9marcar972 the thing is is that they're scared to give players what they want because that means taking a risk. the reason for the saint's row reboot *was* money. it was just "hmm, maybe if we bring this back it could get some old players to buy it," and that's what they keep doing.

Indie fans when u remembers them that 99% of indie games are trash copies of a more successful game >:|
Seems like you're describing a small portion of indie games. Most indie games are stuff large companies don't make anymore. Hollow Knight, Don't Starve, Firewatch, Stick it to the Man, etc.
