I've never had to shorten the drive shaft for an axle flip. Maybe that's a one piece drive shaft thing? I usually use a two piece shaft and haven't ran into that issue yet.

Dude!! Great lesson but be careful. You are cutting steel with a rag hanging from the fuel tank filler neck.

My stock shocks are bottomed out , dnt forget ull need shorten the driveshaft ,
