- Tor also known as Xen Commander is a powerful boss from Sven Coop! It has the ability to teleport Alien Grunts, preform range attacks, sonic wave blasts and different types of melee attacks! All of its attacks are preformed using the staff it wields! On top of its powerful attacks, it also has a very high health and a second phase that allows it to double the damage for all its attacks! For all these reasons, Tor is considered as one of the most powerful enemies in Sven Coop and thus in Half-Life Resurgence as well! Enjoy!

Morphology: Tor, Xenian Commander. Able to fire projectiles from his staff, as well as use it in melee combat. Creates a shockwave whenever multiple enemies are too close, and can summon Alien Grunts. Tor can also transform when enough damage is taken.
Tor is a Vortigaunt-esque monster clad in green armor. His staff can shoot energy projectiles at you, and he will generate shockwaves to deter his enemies should more than one get too close. He also summons Alien Grunts to aid him in battle. Once his health is halfway down, he will transform, turning his armor blue and greatly enhancing his attacks, making them do twice as much damage.

Tor is one of those NPC's where just 5 of them could kill a swarm of enemies
I have been playing with Tor and he is a really fun SNPC, now I noticed in the video the first person of the shock trooper seems a bit buggy, I have not seen it because I don't control SNPCs very often
Controller is not applied to any of the HLR NPCs atm.

Wish this boss was more well known, it's such an insane and badass creature, but because it's part of a mod that nobody really talks about these days, nog enough people know about it.
That's exactly why I made it in HLR, Tor is one of the most unique bosses I have seen in HL mod and it makes sense as a Xen boss
when i spawned him first time, i thinked this is Race X unit...
Will the body guard from Sven coop will be added? (I saw their sound files hiding inside the sound folder of the addon.)
If one day I see this unit in official HL2E3, I'll be both scared and happy.

Ey Vrej just something I noticed: the color of Tor's eye is red in Sven Co op instead of black. I don't know if it is due to the light of source engine or a bad texture in the eye.

yeah blue shift needs bosses, it feels really empty and it disappointed me first time i played it, i expected more. its even more disappointing if you play it after opposing force as you would expect a lot of new stuff just like in opposing force

Would be great if it could summon alien controllers too, alien slaves a nice touch aswell
And in the release version there will be ospreys and Apaches
In Opposing Force, only engineers are armed with Desert Eagle pistols, while medics are armed with Glock or Beretta pistols, if this is a High Defense Pack. Why doesn't the M2/M3 Bradley use an anti-tank missile launcher?
Beretta pistol is not included in OpForces, I don't understand your question.
@@VrejGaming I know it's not there. I told you about the HD pack. If you don't use it, it will be a normal Glock.

@@Mr.SM2939OLD yes you have to download half life 1 and sven co op put the sven co op folder in half life folder open half life and click change game and click sven co op and go to create server click lan then there you go

@@AdamLovesRUclips yeah, cause they aren't called lily's HL1 Maps, if you had more than a quarter of a brain you'd know what they would be called

is tor's eye supposed to be red or black? because when i tried out half-life: resurgence (great addon btw) his eye is red but in the video his eye is black?
At the time of recording this video, the textures were still bugged, it was fixed when the mod was publicly released, so no it's not supposed to be black, but rather red like you see in game now

It’s made by the author lily, and can be downloaded from the workshop. Just search up lily’s half life map, click most subscribed select maps, and thenyou should find it. Note that it requires an addon that can be found in the description of the mod, AND it requires half life source owned and installed in your library to work. If you have hl source already, boot up gmod, click the little controller icon thingy on the bottom right of the screen, and click the check box so that the game will be mounted. Cracked versions of hl source will not work and if you attempt to mount it, you might get VAC banned.

So, i’m probably going to get smart ass remarks about what im about to say but, im pretty sure Vrej already implemented that feature with the bullsquid. So, the code for that is probably there.

So I am aware of the invisible SNPC error, and I know it is a Confliction with an add on since I saw your post in a discussion. However, I don’t know what addon is causing it. Do you have an idea?
OoCreeperLoveoO Various Content on the page for vj base there should be a link of addons that conflict if you are subbed to any then unsub
