I was wondering if you think the boarding times are suggestions or enforced? We are going on seashore this weekend and we would like to get on as soon as possible. Our boarding time is 2:30 but we would like to try around 12:00. Thoughts?
Hi! For our sailing, they were not enforced at all. We had a late boarding time of 3:00 p.m. We were some of the first people to board. They even had a sign for a line for people that arrived earlier than their assigned time, and they didn't even make us wait there. They let us right on the ship. It was awesome and quick. ☺ Thank you for watching and have a wonderful cruise!!
We just got off the Seashore today in Port Canaveral. Embarkation was not the disaster some have portrayed. We did not opt for Yacht Club but did not have to wait long to board the ship. Disembarkation was pretty simple as we did the carry our own luggage off option. We were off the ship by 7:10am, got in line about 6:20am. There are a lot of people that take this option so plan accordingly. Ocean Cay is a great private island. The food on the ship was average to below average. Most cooked vegetables were over cooked, meat was either dry or very fatty and tough to chew. The cabin shower is the smallest we have seen on a cruise ship. We have cruised numerous times on Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Holland America. MSC Seashore is a beautiful ship but is lacking when it comes to food and entertainment. We will not spend our cruise dollars on MSC unless major improvements happen.
