My kid and I (who are roomies) have started a tradition where we each make dinner on alternate Sundays. Last Sunday she made cheese enchiladas with homemade sauce (the first time she's made sauce from scratch and it was chef-kiss wonderful) and tomorrow I'm making potato broccoli with cheese soup. We make enough to have leftovers - we scramble for meals after that - LOL! I started the tradition about two months ago as my sneaky way to get out of cooking ALL the time but it has turned out to be so much fun for the two of us.

My BFF from high school (Class of ‘67)’ daughter raises a couple alpacas. Got a chance to feed them one of the times I went to visit a few years ago. They are so soft! They’d just had a baby they called Thunder cause he was born in a lightening/thunder storm. I love the snippet edge project! Who doesn’t have scraps?! Crazy thought!

I was very depressed after my mom passed away for a few years and thought escaping away to Mexico was going to be the cure, but not. You and Gertie got me on the road to recovery. I have them standing up in my ephemera box by my pre-made belly bands. The box is so full, they stand up just great! 😂❤️
