Everytime I watch you put these together Gayle I see new ideas. So please don’t think it’s redundant because it’s not, it’s inspirational!
LOVE these tracing paper strips & how they make decorating ephemera quick & easy!! 🌹🐦🌸BEAUTIFUL!! ❤🤗
Ever since you taught me to make these strips I’ve been making them nonstop! I love making these!! I have so many stamped images already And I’ve scattered them around my desk ready to go! Doing some color themed strips while I watch you Gayle, thanks for your inspiration!!💙💚💛🧡❤️
Gayle, I love the tracing paper strips and watching you make them. Thank you for all the ideas you have given me over the past 2 years.
I am still a newbie in making journals. You have taught me so much!
I love the idea of decorating strips of tracing paper or whatever. It was so fun watching you putting those sweet decorations together
I think the “ blob” flowers make it all the more interesting!
It was fun crafting along with you today Gayle. Hugs, Amy💕
The tracing paper strips are so pretty before you even got started collaging! You have given me some ideas for mixed media!!! I think I will use strips that I have stamped and use for backgrounds on mixed media projects. As far as collage strips, I have done the strips before, but watching you, I think I am going to use full sheets of tracing paper. I will tape a grid beneath the page, then make ephemera clusters on top of each box, then tear them apart for individual ephemera clusters to use in my journal making. You inspire me so much just watching you. :-)
I like the numbers you used. Are they download printables? You're good company. When I don't feel like creating, I watch you create. You're so calm and kind. You're also a prolific maker and enable others to start making too. No wonder you have nearly 15 million views! 👏
The numbers are stamped on to paper scraps. (I never throw anything away! 😂). Some of the number stamps are from Whichcraftdoyoudo.com. 👍❤️
Gayle, I too have a bit of an empty nest issue. My son moved to New York from Oregon. I miss that young man so much sometimes. But he is married, her family loves him like a son! That is heartwarming. he is a good guy. We visit but not as often as I used to. my daughter moved to Hood River which is an hour from me. Not far, but not close. My son, doesn't have children, but my daughter does. I visit every other weekend. But gas prices now have me reconsidering this. It's terrible isn't it? But oh they are great kids and the grands are SO much fun! Love them all!
I normally stay quite but just wanted to say I love these so much I just did like 3 videos on making them. ^.^ I have been watching you since 2019 and you have been so much inspiration to me. You have such a calm voice and your so kind. I LOVE your works. Love your mixed media pieces. I am a traditional artist. But love how you create. ^.^ we are blessed to have a teacher/mentor as you. Thanks for being you.
Thank you so much, Patty! 🥰❤️
I love your tracing paper strips,so cute… wow how exciting to get to face time with Ceri, that will be really fun. 🤗
All so lovely! Looking forward to forgotten Friday. Love&hugs
Collaging is 😊 fun!! This idea 💡 makes it handy to use for smaller projects - I love ❤️ it?!
Good morning! Not sure how I missed this yesterday! I just love these strips! Thanks for sharing! Blessings 💕
Can't go wrong with these tracing paper collage strips Gayle!
Your strips always look amazing! Love to watch you make ephemera!
Good morning, Gayle. Your projects are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I love to watch how you think and work. It's so much fun. Thank you for your inspiration!
Love it, Gayle!!!!!! Made some along with you and beyond! What fun!
Creativation is what used to be HIA Hobby Industries of America. I went several times when I worked as a designer for a company that sold wood supplies and art supplies. It always motivated me by seeing new products and other designers. I hope to go to Creativation next year.
I’m hoping to go next year too. We will have to keep in touch about it! 👍❤️
So happy you didn't leave us hanging.. Wonderfull.
Your strips are so cute. I need to make some more myself. Running low! Oh No can’t have that happen!😀 Thanks for a fun video my friend. I sure do admire your ability to get all these videos done plus have time and ENERGY to go to all your games. Maybe you could send me some energy vibes!
Oh, it's so exciting that you'll be FaceTime ing with Ceri the crafter. I watch a lot of his creative sessions & love his style too.
OMG...you could be doing right now...EEk! I'm excited for you 2.
Is tracing paper and Vellum the same thing. Oops, thx...you kinda just explained. Teehee.
I had a great visit with Ceri. What a wonderful man! 🥰
@@gayleagostinelli_ct and with that charming British accent, so entrancing. How fun. Have a wonderful day Gayle! I love how the Ephemera you created turned out!!!
Thanks for showing the rest, I hope we see another video with the cutting of a cover, tags, pockets etc. with a selection of these beauties! I’m working on making a batch of these, so far I’m liking mine (not as much as yours lol)
I’m with you Gayle. I love making these strips!
Good Evening Gayle! I enjoyed making the strips but now I will do one in the other direction. So nice to hear you and Ceri are going to FT each other, maybe you two can collaborate on something for the Junk Journal world. FaceTime was so useful during the you know what. Enjoy the rest of your Evening. 👍🌼🌼🌼
Oh, Gayle…I just love these collaged tracing paper strips you make and this was the first time I sat and made one with you! They certainly give that final “umph” to the finished piece of ephemera adding just the perfect dimension to the piece. I think I’ll make some more! On a side note…I love my poppies, too, and wish they would last all summer and into the fall! You are such an inspiration! 💐
Good evening Gayle! Great video. I always enjoy watching you make these. Finally got me some tracing paper at Hobby Lobby and having fun with these strips. 💖💕Hugs!!
Thanks for "starting at the beginning"!!!!
I love how you layer with such a variety of materials. I am new to J.J. have yet to jump in. I agree with you having stuff premade will help for making signatures. I have a problem with covering pages I like. Some of your cards were beautiful, then you plaster over it... I take a deep breath and continue watching and 'oh yeah' that is good too. Haahee.
Maybe I should pay you for therapy....haahee
Fun tutorial... 👏👏👍🎻😍
How exciting about your face time with Ceri. He sounds like an amazing conversationalist and a thoughtful and generous person. He should actually write an autobiography; his life has been fascinating. I am also looking forward to the segments you are planning featuring attendees at your upcoming retreat. Personalizing crafters is always interesting. And I can't wait for tomorrow and more Forgotten Friends!
Love these. I will have to try this soon. I love how easy it is to just put it on a collage and you are done.
I always love watching you do these! Your ephemera always looks so great when you use them. I have yet to do any myself but gosh do I need to! Beautiful as always.❤️
Love to watch you make and use these tracing paper strips! That is exciting for you to face time Ceri! I enjoy his channel. Enjoy your visits with friends! Hugs
Good afternoon Gayle!! We soooooo appreciate you and your inspirational and fun videos!! Best playdates ever!!! I adore the Fairy Girl. Isn't it funny the world reversal when we get older? Our kids used to say don't tell Mom and Dad now we say don't tell our kids. I totally understand though I love when I have time with my grandpuppies and Grand kitties. Positive Blessings, vibes peace, health and happiness! Namesta ✌️🐞🕉️
So sweet!...Cute....lovely.............😻
I had some tags that needed a little something. This is it! Thanks for the video Gayle😊
I absolutely love your deli paper ephemera. So many pretty ideas. Gayle, I don’t mind at all if you go over an hour. I enjoy spending time with you watching you create. Have a wonderful day. Thank you for sharing 🤗
I love the tracing paper strips. They look great as embellishment on ephemera pieces. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you for todays longer video. A shot of Gayle in the morning makes for a beautiful day. I love how you have choices to choose from for all different journals.
Gayle do you have a how to make a writing board for your journals in your play list? I’ve seen different ones done but mine look like a hot mess something so simple…yet for me I can’t seem to get them sized or laid right in the journal. Any suggestions?
Search Gayle Agostinelli Writing Board for a how to video. 👍❤️
I love your twist, love how all of them turned and I think I have that Fern green. I cann't wait to play again. Hugs.
Love your videos and long ones are great!
I have got to make time to do some of these. You’re right, it would be nice to have them on hand. You are a bright spot in my days. Thanks.
I always love seeing these come together. They always work so beautifully on the ephemera!
I've been wanting to suggest that you ladies on RUclips do a series on using unused supplies for weeks now! And you're doing it!! Can't wait for Friday!!!!😀
Every time I watch you make collage type ephemera, I learn even more about “what looks good where.” My mother had an area along a terrace wall full of the standard red poppies. It always looked so wild and free when they bloomed, bobbing in the breeze. Of course, living in Kansas, the breeze always turned to wind so the poppies never lasted for very in the garden. 😊
Every time I watch you make these I love them. You make it look like so much fun. I’m definitely going to make some now. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi! Gayle, HAVE a WONDERFUL DAY and Mike. HAVE fun when you go on your retreat. Thanks for sharing. ❤🥰
I have not yet done this but you make it look so easy and fun! I am going to give it a try.
These strips look fun and versatile! 😃
Wow so beautiful, tfs x

Morning sis! I love, love those! They always turn out lovely when you make them. You have just the right touch for them. Great job! 🤗💖🤗
Thanks so much, sis! Love you! ❤️
Lovre the tracing papers that you create!!!!
Hi Gayle!
Love how they turned out and those frames from Amy really added another element. I can't wait till I can plant some flowers, I feel like its right around the corner. Hope your week is going good, take care! 🤗
So very pretty. They remind me of making faux ticket strips. But I love them done on the tracing paper. I guess I will be going to squirrel. And make a pile now. Lol. Thanks again.
Good afternoon Gayle. 😊 I I agree with Manila that the tracing paper is so pretty before even collaging on it. I love the stamps and the inks that you use and you have given me more ideas as well. Have a great day. It’s really raining hard here in North Carolina so I hope you’re having better weather and I look forward to your next video. Hugs 🤗 from DarvaDee
These are very nice and interesting today as well.
Thanks Gayle. I will give that a try and see how it works. Can't wait to get started.
Gayle, I am always inspired by your videos. I’ve been looking back through the extensive listings and found the video on FABRIC TAGS . Those are amazing! And I’m working on tracing paper now. So excited to be able to be part of the creative Gayle world!
Thank you so much! ❤️
I love these too. It took a few tries to get mine to resemble yours, but when I let go and wasn’t really trying, they got much better.
I just love these collage strips and the ephemera they make!
Good morning Gayle. Love using tracing paper
Morning Diana! ❤️
This is another good thing for journals. Thanks!
Live love this idea. I need some tracing paper.... The tissue paper I have are red green and polka-dot. Lol As always Gayle, thanks for sharing. Have a super fantastic day Sherry
These are too much fun!
Hi Gayle, the collage strips came out so beautiful. I love making these strips. I am working on a term paper so I haven't done much crafting. I can't wait to get it done so I can really play.
Hi Gayle, I've watched you make these a couple times and I always say I'm gonna make them haha still haven't done it yet LOL but now I need to get more tracing paper I used what I had for something else! thank you for sharing I love how the poppy one turned out! 💕
So relaxing. I need to get more done also.
It’s so funny the other day when you mentioned Gonzaga in my Facebook feed was a post from my friend of her granddaughter organizing some kind of an honors party at Gonzaga, that was so funny I was like hey Gayle just talked about Gonzaga and my friends granddaughter goes there and she’s graduating in May an entire year early because she’s so stinking smart. She could’ve gone Ivy League but she had to follow her boyfriend! What can I say.
Thank you so much for this video. It is so helpful!
I love these. Going to try, do some.
I love these videos where you make your tracing paper strips to decorate ephemera. I always find some new ideas for both making them and using them. Love yours! I wonder if it would be possible to make a copyright free sheet of strips to scan and make a digital of for your etsy? ♡ Kate
Love this! When you store them to use later, do you keep them in strips?
Yes! I have a little clip on the wall that I clip them on and let them hang down the wall. 👍❤️
This is my first time seeing this kind of stuff, I am so in love with everything about this and I would absolutely love to get started doing it and the journal, mini albums, ect. I have tons of scrapbooks. I’d love to get in your hip pocket and do this or learn from you lol jk. What supplies should I invest in or what do I do first?
My guess is you’ve already got a lot of the supplies you need to get started if you’ve been scrapbooking. I have some Beginner Tutorials that you can find if you search Gayle Agostinelli Beginner Tutorial. Also, I have a playlist of Start to Finish Journals on my channel that you could follow along with as well. Get yourself some good glues. My favorites are available on my website (listed in the description box under my videos) under Gayle’s Favorite Things at gayleagostinelli.com/gayles-favorite-things/. My best advice is to watch lots of videos to get down the basics and just have fun from there!! ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct oh ok, thank you.
Oh ok sounds good thank you.
Good morning Gayle 💙💛
Morning Denise! ❤️
I just love these 🥰. I forgot what you stamped on when you do the birds, bees, bunnies etc. was it tissue paper or vellum (tracing paper)???
Deli paper. ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct thank you! I’ll have to see if I can find some 🥰
@@gayleagostinelli_ct Got some on Amazon and having a play day making collage strips 😉😊
Bless you
This is such a great collage. Where did you get the little fairy girl stamp? TFS
RedLeadPaperworks.com. ❤️
I have made my first snippet roll and used tracing paper that I printed on. What are tea cards. I keep forgetting to ask. Thank you for all your creativeness.
They are little cards that were in packages of tea (and cigarettes) and they are about 1 x 2 inches in size. They had advertising on the back and a pretty picture on the front. ❤️
Morning Gayle. I was so happy to see doing this today. I have been thinking about this since the first time I saw you do it. Question: this may sound like a no brainer but my paper is shiny on one side and matte on the other. My thought would be the matte side, but then would the shiny side glue? Thanks for your thoughts. I finally did the hexagon collage you did quite some time ago. With cutting each piece out individually ( no punch) it took me the 4 hours to cut and paste but I got 2 8 12 x 11 cardstock papers done. It was tedious but I loved the final product. Now to figure out what to do with them. Take care. Hugs.
I think with the gluing a good coat of Uhu glue stick then also Art Glitter glue would do the trick. ❤️
Good Morning Gayle. 💖💖
Morning Edie! ❤️
Could you share a source for the tag shapes that are on your scrap stamping paper? BTW, I used to think your videos were too long, but the more I watch, the more relaxing your process is. Makes time on the treadmill so much more bearable!
I think you’re seeing the label stamps which are from Signet Stamps on Etsy. ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct yes I meant labels!! Thank you even though you had to read my mind!! 😁
❤️
❤
😊❤️😊
As I watch your craft this early Tuesday morning, I am paying for Sarah and the medical team who will be doing her surgery tomorrow.
Hi Gayle, like what you did today, pretty. Enjoy your chat with Ceri.
🥰❤️🥰
I motion that from now on we call these Boom Strips.
Hi Gayle! Love these!
Yesterday I found the snarky comments by Tim Holtz at Hobby Lobby. It was 40% off. Yay!
Will someone tell me the purpose of fabric flips, please?
They are decorative and provide a little private journaling space underneath. They provide an interactive bit of fun. 😁❤️
@Gayle Agostinelli Thank you, Gayle!
