- In this video, we take a stroll down memory lane by going through my entire Nintendo DS collection! The DS was the childhood console that I definitely spent the most time with, and it was awesome to go through my games and reflect on that time of my life!

I highly recommend getting Kirby: Super Star Ultra whenever you get the chance. That’s easily my favorite game on the DS, as well as one of my favorite Kirby games in general. I still own my original copy to this day and fully 100%’d it.

I still look around for DS games for my collection, I feel very strongly about it (even though I bought most of them pre-owned).
We intersect with Harvest Moon, FF, Zelda and Pokémon.😊

I think you'd find those engrossing. Many excellent ones are still trapped on the DS and 3DS.
Thank you so much!!!! That really, really means a lot! The DS is such a special console to me and there are so many gems to still pick up for it! In regards to Dragon Quest, I played XI on the Switch (and LOVED it) and have really wanted to pick up some older ones too! I'm really hoping to find some for a decent price on the DS😂
@@qualitea_individual unfortunately, I have seen very high prices for the older DQ games recently. But with a bit of luck and persistence, I hope you find copies because they're absolutely brilliant.
Unless ofc Square finally (cough) decides to remaster them for the Switch. 😁🤞🏻

I remember when me and my family went to Best Buy to buy something and while there, I saw a Nintendo DS in the gaming section and played it for a few minutes and then after my obsession with it, I asked my parents to get it for me.

Oh! By the way, the Nintendo DS does not only play DS games. You put a little game at the bottom of that thing, it plays GBA games.

i love Dragon's Frontier tcg and i'm also loved to play DS games!! Right now, i'm playing Platinum but yeah Pokemon DS games are my favorite :) Most likely Platinum, Soul Silver, and White version

I've been feeling super nostalgic for ds games lately!! I recently bought the Namco Arcade game and it's one of the games I played the most. I only have the case for Pokémon Ranger Shadows but I'm searching for it! I never finished the game. I would always get stuck but now I want to finish it.
The first ds i got was 10 years ago was a dsi i got addicted to Nintendogs but it also helped me reduce my stammer by half
I just found my DSI....and I'm debating on if I should make a collection of Legos games (I love the sound and who doesn't love building)😅I'm 23 and ugh the Hanna Montana 😮🤣❤ I had it too!

i recently found a monster house DS copy, however this one has a free movie ticket included and also a sticker on the case that says it includes a free ticket, not sure if it’s rare or not but pretty cool !

Nice collection. A great recommendation for you for the DS is The World Ends With You. It is honestly one of the best handheld games you'll ever play.

@@qualitea_individual You definitely won't regret picking it up 🙂I never played too many DS games to be honest, I spent more time playing the GBA SP before it and the 3DS after it, but it's definitely a standout for me. I need to actually go back and play it again but as i'm sure you know, so many games, so little time to play them 😄
I would also recommend Mario Kart DS, Mario Party DS, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Yoshi’s Island DS, Namco Museum DS, Ratatouille, Sonic Rush, Sonic Classic Collection, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, Rhythm Heaven, Bratz, Chrono Trigger, Kirby: Canvas Curse, Ghost Trick, Metroid, Phoenix Wright, The Sims, Super Princess Peach.
Oh! And DK Jungle Climber and Mario vs Donkey Kong.
the imagine games were so odd and honestly kinda hit-or-miss - i had 3, and i actually enjoyed and played 2 of them a fair bit (imagine happy cooking, which had a really cute anime artstyle and a cute story about a little girl's stuffed animals; and imagine teacher, which i honestly quite enjoyed - you have to teach these kids a bunch of different subjects but also clean and decorate the classroom, seat the children according to who they're getting along with/who they fell out with that day, and each kid is good and bad at different subjects, they have different personalities, different dreams for life... i got weirdly invested). the third was imagine babies which was ... yeah, no ... not as fun lol
I love the ds lite also; it’s like an amazing evolution to it- I consider the ds lite something like an iPhone because the development, the size, the design absolutely game changing ;but
Loved zelda on the ds lite.
I loved the stamp collecting side activity in Spirit Tracks. I agree it is a better game than Phantom Hourglass.

LOL I don't know why I got this video in my recommendations but I clicked on it and I loved hearing you talking about Video games and hanging out with members of your family and play some games together :). Wish I had that was I was a kid but I grew up in a family were video games seen as a bad thing yup I remember sitting there having everyone in the family giving me the "you have done something wrong" look LOL, but this video made me want to go search for my old Gameboy Advance, PSP, 3DS XL and the games collection I had for those systems and after 3 hours search in the attic I finally found it :D and now my little gremlin is hooked playing some of the games her dad grew up with :D though I wasn't as good as you in keeping my game boxes. I mean If you check the systems I own you would think they are brand new just need new batteries, same thing for the games but since I had to work to buy my own games, trading game boxes for new games at the time seemed to be a good idea lol though now I do regret it xD hehehe. But Thank you for making this video, I completely forgot about my old collection and this video just made me remember and inspired me to go and look for it :D and now I'm thinking about going to pick up some of the games I wanted to play but couldn't save up money for :).

Do you ever play any gameboy games on it. I just bought a ds lite and didn’t realize it could do that until a month of having it.
Currently playing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, and it is great. It’s hard, but the story is good.
despite being the ripe age to get a DS back then, I never owned one b/c I figured my parents would say no (I did have a PSP though)
so out of the recent DS games I've tried since adulthood, Bowser's Inside Story might be my favorite of the bunch, though big shout out to Hotel Dusk
Hotel Dusk is one I've been wanting to try out for a loooong time! I've heard awesome things! And the Mario and Luigi games are definitely high priority pick-ups! I've surprisingly never played any of them, but have Superstar Saga on my Wii U😂

My 8-year-old daughter loves Animal Crossing on the Switch. I'm just happy that she likes at least part of gaming. My 4-year-old boy is obsessed by Mario Wonder and Sonic (we've completed Sonic 2 together a number of times, now he's completing Sonic Mania on his own). My 10-year-old finished more games than I do nowadays.
I'm in my early 40s and I played FF4 first time around. The second FF game I finished after FF7. It's still one of my fav FF games. Not quite as good as VI and VII can't be beat (I was 17, brought it and beat it on release, Aeris broke my heart).

I mean, this is true and I already have a handful of modded systems! But there are some titles that I want to have physical! Just my preference!

it feels like you never actually opened DS library. How can somebody not recommend for example Dead n Furious, or LEGO battles, or Age of Empires, or better, Fighting Fantasy or Shantae Risky Revange.
