Hi bud love your videos ..just so happens I'm a Daihatsu specialist not sure if your aware but note to self . Glow plugs are only 7v and engine will not go without a sniff without them , loads of people run a live from battery for too long and burn the buggers out !!! Just a heads up if you aren't aware if you end up firing the old girl up. Also perished fuel lines are very common .. id try and buy it if shes for sale ??, ps depending on what year, it may have a very annoying security imobiliser box covering stop solenoid that's a pig to get off with engine in and shes a 2.8 mate.. loving your work ,hit me up if you can't get it running ❤
I used to sell four tracks and sport tracks new , the old farmers called them ….. wait for it ….lol *Die Hoot See’s* 🤣 Once got one on two wheels swerving to avoid a car pulling out in front of me, normal for a high 4wd truck boy this one was brand new on trade plates and I had to pull over half a mile down the road to calm down and I never drove one again and swerved the steering
Tractors get a big thumbs up for me 😊 My late Dad worked at Massey Ferguson tractors world parts devision Trafford Pk and I had many a Saturday playing on the tractors 🤣 So they could find the bits they needed there was always a tractor in bits sonthe6 could reference the part needed 👍🏻
great to see the tractorage I grew up with fergie te 20s and massey 135s Im also a diesel nut cant wait to see the four tack start It will pop off on the first swing
Brilliant man love watching and learning thank you ❤👀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice to see the camouflage kangoo in the background. There was a crawler missing on your list, I understand she can be a pig to turn over love to see her running. Keep these coming informative and entertaining. As I was told today by someone Al is a Dorset legend.
I put my vote in for the TD8 and that little mini tractor with the grass tyres. If that was got going I would bet that someone with a couple of acres would pay good money for it. And I would say it is built far better than anything you would buy new today!
Yes please love to see anything old and interesting, great to see the Kangoo sneak peek in the background, the perfect support vehicle for will it runs on a farm.
Like a bit of tractorage. Since I was plonked on one aged 6 at a friend's farm in the seventies and steered it round a few times. Went to a farm sale in the eighties with loads of equipment. Much of it horse drawn. One small trailer with big spindly wheels had a long thin horizontal box on. A little old fellow had been buzzing around the yard and in a proper Gloucester accent told us "They be fer mangel wurzels".
Liking the videos and also loved this with the tractors, something I also grew up with. A local farmer we knew had a Zetor, and I had forgotten how good they sound. Curiously took a look at the reg painted on the mudguards and it reports as a Massey ... probably back in the day one red tractor looked like another to the unknowing bobby.
Al great video mate it's great to see these old farm tractors and machines hope you can restore some of them and also its great to see the Renault kangaroo in the background
You got to love the ease of that starting I couldn't believe that. Makes that plastic pig a joke. I know totally different build quality and it was made to last through a apocalypse if not it got rejected at quality control 🤣🤣 Got to say big respect to your vast knowledge of anything diesel and now agricultural. Man after me own heart. And you won't be finding a OBD port on this channel for a while. Love it 👍👍💛
Well it's different content for your videos. I used to really really like tractors but i've gone off them now. I'm now officially an EXTRACTOR FAN. 🚜🚜🚜😉
Hi,throughly enjoyed the tractor/ crawler video,I do not know anything about them so great to learn something,I'd welcome more of these along with your humour😊😊
Great video Al, that Zetor is incredible for its age, as they were a cheaper tractor, they were normally driven into the ground. The 2nd Allis, has the cow horn axle, indicating it’s American built, it also has the “hand” brakes each side, very early !! Look forward to seeing more of all that.
Excellent video. I grew up on a East Lancs dairy hill farm surrounded by the same. My uncle ran a 1965 Zetor with loader in the late 70s, 80s and 90s as a loader for his muckspeader for his own farm and contracting. The poor thing was always axle deep in cow sh,,, had a ton counterweight on it rear arms and spent its life going backwards and forwards. Not sure many other tractors would have worked as hard for a living. Seeing one of the crawlers running would be good and the little Leyand Mini looks a useful little thing.
Brilliant vid man! I mind seeing a lot of old farming stuff about our village back in the 80s/early 90s, great stuff still about lying waiting for men like you to come along to wake them up 😁
I’ve got a Zetor 4911 with a massive UBK cab which is similar to that one but all part of the UR1 range. When you going to take it back to the yard? Look great in the shed next to Fudge’s capri! Great channel this Al, keep the great comedy coming! 👍
Loads of old traaacccttooors (Dorset spelling) in there. Quite amazing how easily they can and do start! Moticed the Kango 4wd is out on the roads and is multi coloured post steam cleaning. Love to see you tackle the Daihatsu.
Excellent video. Really don't mind anything mechanical. I like mowers so even the small stuff and you never mentioned the dumper truck. Keep them coming
If diahatsu made proper work vans rather than sooty vans they would have been proper competition uk imports restricted that seen many chassis rotton but the engines and boxes pulled out and still working in another life Drain jetting machine to name one.... Proper tool
Ok best video yet love stuff like this I have watched all your vids followed you for a while now and only just realised you just up the road from me now I know where to take my van now if indeed anything great vids
Another great video. looking forward to more tractor content Al. Vans looking good. What colour is it going to be. I see a zetor screen on e Bay. Worth a look mate.
Would love to see you work on the International seen behind the Zetor. I have at McCormic International Farmall D-217 looks very similar and would like to know whats what ( Its my first tractor)

I lived on a farm for years and I did used to enjoy bumping along in the old Ford 4000.
Not sure how I missed this? I shall watch vigorously and catch up.

The Allen Scythe next to the big IH Drott would be a fun thing to see a will it start on, those things are lethal!
I’ve got a 98 Fourtrak. Similar condition to that one, but will a fresh battery it never fails to start.

Definitely enjoy the tractor/crawler stuff👍
Deffo the Leyland. They were BMC minis first, then Nuffield, then Leyland finally Marshall. Same engine as the Sherpa if I remember correctly.
Excellent video. Really don't mind anything mechanical. I like mowers so even the small stuff and you never mentioned the dumper truck. Keep them coming
