Out of curiosity, have you done a video regarding R2-D2's reluctant unveiling of recordings to Luke Skywalker of Anakin, now Darth Vader, being confronted by Padme on Mustafar, before choking her and confronting and ultimately fighting Obi-wan? This was in Star Wars Legends in one of the books, although I can't remember which one. There was even footage of a conversation between R2-D2 and C3P0 which happened while Anakin and Padme were talking at her apartments. Luke's reaction to both footages' in regards to seeing his mother for the first time must have been quite emotional. Especially when she was choked by Anakin. It was even mentioned that there was a third footage of her giving birth to Luke and Leia. I'm not sure if you already have done a video regarding Luke's reaction to R2's recordings. But if not, it would probably be a good video to do.
As a Jedi master I think Luke would’ve still have forgiven Vader, he knew that anakin was forced and enslaved by the dark side and wasn’t a bad person. And the control knowledge and understanding he have he would’ve believe in anakin’s goodness

I mean I had wondered if Luke would have only thought that after Palpatine rooted for Luke to kill his father, and then think to himself "oh yeah all of a sudden my father is good just because he knew Palpatine didn't care about him anymore and he was willing to let him die and have me take his place and possibly even preferred it that way rather than keep Vader alive?" One could say that Luke felt the good in his father through the force or they could say that Luke only drew that conclusion after Palpatine betrayed him in the end by having Luke take his place, then getting a dose of reality. Where is the viewer's new did Anakin came back at the end but the character of Luke in the story could have drawn a different conclusion than what we saw or knew about Aniken? Even if Luke heard Palpatine tell Vader, " when I am done slying thos last Jedi throw him over into the core reactor, my servent." Then finally Vader turned on Palpatine and did that to him instead of Luke.
The Dark Nest Trilogy and New Jedi Order are two of the best series, in my opionion. Haven't read them for year, but I really need to go back to it. I forget which book it was, but R2 also showed him Anakin's final meeting with Padme on Corusant. It may have been the Dark Nest trilogy, but I can't be sure.

I'm going to assume that R2-D2 got his memory erased just like C-3PO because there's no way he would still have footage of everything he recorded from the prequels. Also, he would have no reason to hide this footage from Luke (nor Leia) because nobody programmed him to keep it a secret. This creates a huge continuity issue because Luke and Leia would've known about each other through R2 long before they first met in ANH. They would've also known about Darth Vader being their father long before he could tell Luke in ESB. EDIT: Plus, R2 is sitting on vital evidence that would not only exonerate the Jedi, it would also expose both Palpatine as a Sith lord and Anakin as Darth Vader to the Senate and the galaxy.

Dark nest trilogy is guite underrated imo. Swarm war and joiner king especially are good books.
