Excellent information as usual from the Guru himself. I would only add one thing to point out with this mode is that you SHOULD expect to see higher fuel consumption especially at highway speeds because of the exact reasons mentioned, the transmission will spend a lot time out of the "over drive" gear mode and usually 1 gear down causing higher RPMs and the byproduct of higher fuel consumption. That, however, is a more than a welcome trade-off in the vein of safety and longevity of the drivetrain of the vehicle. Nothing worse than having to replace or rebuild a transmission when the vehicle is designed to deal with these type of loads with a push of the button. Keep up the good work Randy. Greetz, Chris

Excellent, Randy you thought me how to back up my travel trailer. Thanks!!! One quick question, I have an older F250 with a 4 speed auto, do I have to disable overdrive even on a flat road ? Many Thanks,
