WOW.. this is absolutely AWESOME... I studied Printmaking and I owned my own
Wright Etching Press, however that press is now in storage. The idea of using water-based inks is GREAT. Perhaps I should get that small press you have in the demonstration. The Prints look very rich in tone. I am impressed.

did you wet the paper before printing?

cheryl bickham For monotype prints, block prints, and low relief dry point prints it is not necessary to dampen the paper prior to printing. For Solarplates, acid etched metal plates, and deeper cut dry point plates, you will want to dampen the paper so that it is softer and can be pushed into the etched lines. Where do you get the plastic sheets, & plastic??????

I use olive oil and pigments like earths and lamp russ. Thats cheaper and works good.
