Here is a a 4K tour of Saint Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). By flying on 3 different airlines, I was able to visit Concourses A, C, and E in Terminals 1 and 2. Hope you enjoy! (Filmed on 2019-5-24, 2019-5-27, and 2019-7-4 with a Panasonic HC-VX870K)
Great video. My first visit to STL was back in 1995. Flew PHL-STL-SAT. Got stranded in STL overnight due to them closing the airport shortly after my arrival due to a blizzard. I and hundreds of other Soldiers spent the night at the USO.
Thank you for your service! Hopefully, you enjoyed your overnight in St. Louis!
The USO there isn’t very big so that must’ve been awesome 😂
A bit sad to see the decrease in activity at this airport. In it's heyday of the late 90's early 00's this airport was one of the busiest in the US. It's rebounded a bit after the demise of TWA but I don't think they even use that new runway that was built a few years back.
Cool video! I spend a lot of time flying in and out of there. I miss the days with TWA...
Wonderful job as always with this video mate! Loved watching this, it was very well put together, as well as informative. Keep it up-huge like from me!
Here's a few corrections. Concourse B is currently not used by airlines, however, it is used rented out as an event space. The former Concourse D is only partially unoccupied. Southwest has purchased and re-opened several D gates and renamed them E gates. The current Gates E 29-40 are part of the old Concourse D.
No one else cares . Make up whatever
I swear I was at one of those gates for a southwest flight
7:10 Ive gotten Custard from that Ted Drews machine! So nostalgic....

I've been flying out of this airport many times to go on vacation during the summer with my mom to fly down to Orlando, FL and stay there for 2 to 3 weeks. Unfortunatley this past summer we werent able to do so due to covid.
I’ll be flying in there December 2. Can you tell me how to get to the light rail station
@@sinnano77 Sorry, but I can not
I normally have a layover there to go to Orlando!!!!
I have a weird obsession with planes and airports and I live in Stl and our airport is probably one of the best I have ever been to
Hopefully Mid America here in the Metro East can alleviate some of the stress on Lambert.
Some aspects of the architecture are reminiscent of Dubai International or Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi
I really appreciate that St. Louis's airport has gotten much better over the years. I just wish they would get rid of those ugly tile floors and make them smooth instead.
How do you travel so much for work? I have guesses on how, but I'm not sure.
Does anyone knows if I can can stay overnight at this airport? I have an early morning flight and cant afford a hotel room, also I don't know the City.
Lambert (AKA Grigg's Folly)
Memphis International Airport.....do it...
Seriously please do when you get the chance
How is the taxi service at the saint louis airport .. anything to watch out for people coming from out of USA for the first time
Going to bmt soon
@@GripenSlayer I remember that day, now I’m at minot
A concourse is too crowded as it is, STL should reopen D and put Delta there with some modernizing of that concourse of course, also that would reopen the link between concourses for SWA so people could transfer from SWA to other airlines.
They could also change them to concourse b
I wish St Louis was still an American hub but I guess they have too many hubs as is.
I wish TWA had been bought by Delta instead.
I think Lambert was the first airport in the world and airports like JFK and CDG based their designs off of it
It used to be super ground-breaking and important- it's sad to see how it has declined this Century
Things are really picking up with Southwest and it's positioning itself well again
Now it reminds me more of LGA

Now I know why Goblin hates it...
