i forgot what pair i had, but it was a basketball shoe with air zoom units in the heels. i had serious heel drag, and i was literally playing basketball on the blacktop every single day, so eventually they deflated. i cant even say popped, because it wasnt a puncture like this, i just literally erased the rubber over time and it eventually got to the air unit. i wouldnt have noticed, but all the running and jumping really hurt my heel, and thats how i noticed that my air unit had been compromised. i had zero cushion in my heel and it hurt with every step and every jump, but ball was life for me at the time lmao. i decided to even it out, so i purposely took scissors and popped the other heel. my mom couldnt buy me shoes that often, and i understood that, so i made those shoes last for quite a long time before i got a new pair for hooping. i eventually had to swap those out though for my vans and freeruns bc the pain was really unbearable after awhile. i was really hooping in vans and freeruns lmao
Nah the crazy thing is my friend had a Nike with an bubble and they where worn out af and when we where in class we all of suddenly hear him cry cause his bubble popped like bruh cmon he’s 12 and he’s crying over a pair of shoes bruh
I actualy had a pair of Lebrons were the bubble actually popped and I had to get rid of them because it gets super annoying and in makes a squeaky sound when you walk
These aren’t air pockets these are the air zooms they aren’t exactly the same (they basically work like a suspension in a car they absorb the energy created from stepping on the ground) thank you
This is why i stick with Adidas pro3's or prime X's . The first run in my pro3's i came home with a clicking in the right forefoot , turned out to be a large thorn gone through the sole , pulled it out no problem , shoes still good to go 👍👍🏃♂️🏃♂️
No not really. They give more cushion and energy return but I could still run around the same times without shoes with an air zoom unit. Usually people that say they give them an advantage just have more confidence in the shoes.
