Great Explanation of a Dish which turned out so well. One of my all time favourite. I use Chaas / Chaach/ Buttermilk in the ratio of 2.5 cups to 1 cup fine besan. Also, I keep the flame at medium till the first boil comes and then lower the flame to low. It completes in 15 odd mins. Lastly, I Grease the plates before spreading. Great recipe 👍👍. Loved it

I had been a failure in making Khandvi several times earlier and I had almost given up. God bless you. I don't know how to put a picture of the Khandvi prepared by me. But I am thrilled.
I had no idea how to make khandvi at home even though I love them, so this is very helpful. But I have to admit it seems like a lot of work and that you have to time things very carefully to get good results. I could try to roll it on my counters, I suppose, because I only have a few baking sheets. I’m grateful for the recipe because now I know how much effort friends use when they serve a platter of khandvi.
Khandvi looks yummy 👌👌 With the same ghol we make dhokli.with the same ingredients we add ajwain and little oil too.and instead of dahi we add one part of butter milk and one part of water to the ghol. We can use these dhokli with methi or with gwarfali or in any red Panjabi gravy too👍
