What a tremendous blessing. So glad you can get things your family can use. I sometimes get products I can't use. I just pass them on to friends and family.
Great haul today! That Tillamook cheese is very good and very expensive! I'm sure that coffee granola would be great ground up as a pie crust, maybe with some chocolate pudding. I'm making myself hungry for pie! Hope everyone is feeling better.
That was some lovely food you received, that dark chocolate looked delicious! It's so nice when you get some treats for the kids isn't it - I don't buy soda usually too, so whenever I get some special drinks from the food bank here in Australia my children really appreciate and love it too.
What a great haul, such a blessing. I can’t tell you how much I smiled when you explained how those root beers will be a such a special treat, and how excited you were knowing how excited they will be when they get to have some. ❤ You really are an inspiration, more people need to not feel ashamed of needing or using these services. Please that’s what they’re there for. I hope your feeling better, thank you again for another fabulous haul and video. 🌺
The pita chips go great with hummus! I am not sure if you eat hummus but it is cheap and easy to make! Very good protein and tons of recipes so that you can find the flavor that you and your family likes.
We are blessed that we have a few different food pantries in our area. Unfortunately, they all give the same thing month after month so I believe they are supplied by a big food pantry elsewhere. We are grateful for the food, but I would love to see a little bit of variety.❤👍🏻
I also follow In His Image Homemaker and her haul was almost identical to yours. She’s is also in the Midwest so sounds like you all have some wonderful food pantries. Blessings to you both. 🙏
I like the salsa flavored Sun Chips . I would've been happy to receive a bag or two of these from the food pantry . The next time I go to the store , I'll plan on buying some . You got a lot of good stuff . 💖
The Tumaros is one of my favorite low carb wraps. You got great stuff. If the kids don't like the coffee granola, maybe you could bake it in muffins or oatmeal bake?
That ecoscense is part of Melaleuca. I used to order from them and I love what they offer. I also have issues with strong smells and cleaners that mess up my skin.
I'm a volunteer worker for the local food bank here in California. I love to watch homesteading videos. Currently our new building in underway. It'll be done in February. The pipes were bad in the old building. Right now we're scattered around town at different building we rent. Soon we'll all be in one place! Currently we're pre making produce bags and food boxes. But we're looking forward to letting people go shopping once the COVID scare is over. Here in our location you can only get one food box a month. Plus an emergency food box possibly. I hear in some states you can show up every single day. I do low carb too. I like to buy less bread and more fruits and veggies. I'm on a weight loss journey.
Thank you so much for volunteering your time! 🥰 Most of the pantries in our area are 1 to 2 times a month. I bet the daily ones are nice for those who may not have electricity or working fridge.
@@weepingwillowhomestead I also watch mama Baird's homestead. She lives in Montana. She reports they can go everyday. I didn't know that bc here it's only once a month. At our pantry we have "no cook" bags for those who don't have a working kitchen.
Tillamook is a Oregon cheese factory on the Coast. It has its own cow's it's a extremely fun family place the cheese is past a six star grade . You can walk threw the factory on line but nothing then taking a walk threw the place with ice cream in your hand. Oregon has a cheese trail road trip a must along with sausage smoke house's and wine opening samples day need to say summer fun before grape picking take a fun trip stay at camp sites being wine cheese meat day fun. Drink eat free fun.
How do church food banks work? Do you have to go weekly to services and donate? Do you provide financial information? Thats better food that I can get with $250 where I live. Glad people that need it are able to eat healthy thanks to these services.
Awesome haul! I’ve been watching for a while and decided to go back on my strict diabetic diet. No sugar, no carbs and with medication I’ve brought my BSL down to 100 and less. So I get the carb thing. I just love bread and sweet coffee, I’ve been drinking my coffee without sugar 🤢 lol thanks for sharing your haul!
There are some great low carb options out there for both bread and sweeteners! You can try the keto breads from any major grocery store. Just check you BS after because most of them still contain wheat byproducts and can spike some people. Base Culture is a great, grain free one that doesn't bother mine. For sweeteners: monk fruit and stevia are both natural options. Erythritol and alulose are sugar alchohols which are more processed natural but can cause tummy upset. Look into Jordan's Skinny Syrups for lots of yummy coffee flavorings.
our pantries are not getting much at all. it's been soy-based meat and canned products. And anyone living on a fixed income loses the covid food stamps come march. It's getting crazy out there. Tillamook is awesome their butter is amazing when I can find it on sale. I was glad last week our local store had chicken onsale for a 1 a pound
Out of curiosity if you had to buy that at the grocery store how much would it cost You can scan the barcode on the items you have and use a your local grocery store app to see the price My Kroger and dollar general apps have the calculator in as well
That haul would easily reach $200. The case of Gatorade alone would be over $20. Dave Killer bread is nearly $7 per loaf and Tillamook Cheese in the bag that way is almost $8. You do the math!! The little cereal boxes would cost at least a dollar each in a convenience store. Don’t even talk about those premium chocolate bars. It would be out of reach for all of our budgets! What an incredible blessing.
I don’t buy sodas, it’s not healthy n then it’s expensive though my husband loves sodas n he’s used to drinks 2 a meal 🫠… constantly looking for other options for him.
Wonderful blessing. May God bless your family 🙏🏼❤️
Great food bank score love ❤️ your videos thanks ❤️ 😊
The first way you pronounced Tillamook was the correct way. 😊
Amazing haul

Girl I always see your Dave’s Bread. Last time I was at Wally I picked up a Dave’s raisin bread. It was 6.89 fir small loaf. I put that puppy back!!
That Good Earth tea is absolutely delicious hot or iced. It is my favorite tea. You received some great items. What a blessing.

Those gluten free products will probably help with the stomach problems. Oh you got quality licorice, Pandas are so good and Boylan sodas too.
The sweet and spicy tea is so good and the raspberry zinger is great as iced tea. We live tea here too.
New sub enjoyed your pantry haul lots of great for

I bet it would grind into flour for cookies.
Really nice haul! So many Blessings!!
Love your rag rug shown towards end of food! Did you make this?! Love rugs like this!!!
I did. I have 4 of them that I've crocheted over the years. I too love them. 🥰

That ecoscense is part of Melaleuca. I used to order from them and I love what they offer. I also have issues with strong smells and cleaners that mess up my skin.
That Ecoscense is from Malalueca company. I have bought it before and it works really well. It's a very natural cleaner.
Looks like some good food
I know this is older, but I just found you today and have been video after video ...
I love it! Thanks for watching.
The raspberry tea is very good 🙂

Tennessee doesn't have walk in pantry that I know about
Great Haul 🥰🥰
I’ve put a bit of kale in spaghetti sauce before to get extra veggies in.

Oh wow, this really is a food bank haul lol.
You can make a kale salad
Have you guys tried using the air fryer to dehydrate food? have not tried Tillamook cheese but the ice cream is da bomb
I have not. I have a dehydrator but I bet the air fryer would be nice for small batches of things.
❤

It's good cheese
I am in nyc and they don’t give us food like that
It really does seem to vary greatly from state to state and even area to area.
How are you feeling.
Slowly feeling better and better. Thanks for asking!
I don’t buy sodas, it’s not healthy n then it’s expensive though my husband loves sodas n he’s used to drinks 2 a meal 🫠… constantly looking for other options for him.
Coffee.flavored.granola?!?!?!
It is pretty tasty. I might have had a nibble or two. Lol
